I don't think you are paying close attention. His followers sure didn't fear the cross, they nearly fought eachother to be first in line to die in the same manner their Lord did as martyrs, they SANG HYMNS as they carried their crosses or while they were covered in tar and burned as street lights in Rome. Peter requested to be crucified upside down and it was granted to him.

At this point they were afraid and ran away.
Peter mustered up courage to approach the area where Jesus had been taken, but when confronted, backed down from being associated with Jesus.

Why are you talking about the night before the crucifixion when I'm talking about what happened with His followers post-Pentecost period during the Jewish and Romans persecutions?????

Hahaha, YOU go back, you've missed a couple details. try reading for context instead of scanning for a buzz word or two to attack. You won't make these mistakes so often.

There's probably a reason you have stars on only about 20% of your posts.

This is a point of view which is indicative of a larger psychological problem you have, where you believe you are in a war and everyone is your opponent, an attitude which clearly defines you as a non-christian, and in your case, it is worse than that, where you are so far away from a Christian spirit, you have to be defined as anti-christian.
