I think this is nothing more than an attention grab... OR, is this Joe having a temper tantrum
stemming from his personal investigation.

This may be a little off topic but I live in Phoenix and for all of you people who live in the real world you should know that Sheriff Joe is a very racist very bad man. Check out www.phoenixnewtimes.com... just about anytime and you will discover just how corrupt the MCSO and Governor Jan Brewer really are.

The only reason Sheriff Joe is investigating Obama is because the feds are investigating the MCSO regarding racial profiling over SB1070. It's the way the Sheriff does things out here in the wild wild west.

What is the point of continuing on with this birth certificate nonsense? What are you going to do if it is discovered that Obama was lying all along? Is it he who looks like a fool or the rest of us?

He's controversial, but he gets results.

I know he's been a target by the liberals over his treatment of prisoners and his immigration policies, but nobody can deny he has saved the county lots of money with those policies.

His first year on the job he noticed they were spending a lot of money buying new underwear every month. He asked why and was told the inmates often take their prison issue underwear home when released. Since he grew up wearing hand me downs he saw no reason prisoners shouldn't wear them too. So he bought dye and dyed all the underwear hot pink, they stopped having to buy underwear almost overight.

He also has saved money by housing inmates in the tent city instead of building a huge new jail. As he said "if it's good enough for our soldiers it's good enough for prisoners.

He saved money on food too, feeding inmates bologna sandwiches and a piece of fruit instead of all hot meals.


It's not just about savings, it's about detterence also, his inmates are motivated to stay clean, they don't want to go back.

I agree the man has had some very good ideas. The tents are pure genius. As a younger man I spent 10 days on work release at Tent City. Yes it works, I was only there from 7pm - 7am but I won't be going back!!!

What you don't hear about are his bogus lawsuits against the county board of supervisors who question the MCSO regarding missing funds. Another issue is that over 200 sex crimes in one valley city remain unsolved because there are only a handful of deputies assigned to that department. At the same time he uses his resources on 'immigration sweeps'. Why not go after the real criminals....rapists, child molesters, drug dealers, etc.

This is just another attempt by Sheriff Joe to get some free publicity.

What i find interesting is many "truthers" believe the government pulled off this huge conspiracy on 9/11 but they think the "birthers" are nuts for thinking TPTB faked a bc or ignored the natural born citizen clause?
