I'm with you dude and I'm afraid of nothing especially not Mohammed. Any religion that rely's on pure faith is a joke as far as I am concerned. My human nature is that of not believing anything until I see it. If there was a great creator, surely they would be well aware of this, so why not show yourself you big fat coward.

The thing is, they don't rely on faith. They rely on threats (if there is no faith) violence (if someone mocks the faith) and intimidation.

Christianity. Believe or don't believe. *meh*

Islam. Believe. Or there WILL be consequences.

Plus, if it were just another religion, it'd be not so big a deal. But it is an ideology that is political in nature and infects/influences other nation-states.

I have my own beliefs on Muslims in general and thair faith but it would be unfair to broadcast it in a public domain as I am as likely to be wrong as they are.

I've been very vocal in my opinions. Then again, I've been friends with those who are islamic, and have had those that have tried to end my fluffy little life who are followers of islam.

My philosophy is believe what you want. But your religious freedom ends where it starts infringing on mine.

It's the threats that irritate the heck out of me!

and me. But thats what makes us better than them, they have to force their beliefs whereas we allow free will. So we will always be better than them.

Nothing but emotional blackmail and imperialism from Islam and cowardice from the West.
Offense is not on the side of the offender, but on the one who "feels" offended and then "demands" payment.
Christians don't "feel" offended because they are not conditioned to use it any more (there was a time when it was an offense). Muslims are conditioned to "feel" offended and use it as an excuse to react violently and blindly, like machines.

They'll mock Jesus because Christians will forgive them. But the Islamists will kill you if you say anything about their god, or Muhammad. That is because they don't really believe in what they claim to be the truth. And that is weakness, so they choose to kill instead. Look at what they do over Quran burnings, even if the books were desecrated first by their own people.

Mark Thomas you cowardly, spineless little worm, bow your head to the east like a good little dhimmi........he is in the perfect corporation for that sort of attitude, behold the British establishment

Maybe Christians need to bring their A game and regress a few hundred years

Well said.

Thank you beezzer.

That would be beezzer RIP when they track him down for his comments!

I don't think anyone should mock religion, but I think in the liberal West we are able to speak openly and satirical about religion, with the exception of Islam. This was demonstrated by the Cartoons of Mohammad and many other examples, including the passive acceptance of politically acceptable rules which intrude on our ways of life so as to not offend, such as stopping to ring church bells, closing swimming pools and all that.

The boss of the BBC (in his defence) is probably being sensible, because he does not want himself or his staff dealing with death threats and fatwā’s. Christianity grew up a few centuries ago, although I am sure we could all come up to the odd exception to that statement, it would be true to say that Christianity co-exists with a modern world.

Regards

Personally I think it is OK to mock any kind of religion based on mighty beings that choose to stay hidden from all, ridicule it or it's followers, pity the believers etc. etc.

When it comes down to business it is basically people following ideas and ideals because someone told them to do so. Blindly without question. Overlooking fallacies and misleading.
Peer pressure and/or threats do the rest.

Enslavement to the ideas and emotions is the strongest and the source of all evil.
Not much can be done because everybody is conditioned to be stupid like that.
