Well.. You have to accept that the website (In spite of the mystery surrounding it) is just a promotion for the film. As someone else mentioned it is possible that some techy involved in the project could have slipped in his own strange links.

Here's the two pages I was referring to earlier. The book is the key.

This one will kick out a new layout of nodes every time (which I did not realize first time around), and you can navigate back to the menu page (next screenshot) from the last pop-up window on this one.






You can shift the layouts on the menu page by mousing over the red targets. Match the layouts and enter the phrase, "Pay close attention, I want to show you something." I think it's a time sensitive puzzle, and that you maybe have a five minute window to solve it from the time you first enter the site.

Note, too, that when you allow yourself to be shuttled through the site in the way you are intended, the caller on the "Level 3" page is from London.
