Has Anyone Had More Than One Type of Paranormal Experience?

I am almost finished with a book I bought entitled, The Source Field Investagations, by David Wilcock.

This book is AWESOME! It goes into the quantum physics explanation of how things work... in easy to read language that even I can understand. LOL

It explains why, and how, certain things happened to me over my lifetime that we call paranormal.
Not everything that has happened to me is answered, but it explains the disappearing and reappearing items, and how one member here saw a dinosaur walking across a road, and even UFOs.

I recommend it highly to everyone who is in search for answers. It really covers a lot of ground!

I've had the privilege of studying a lot of David Wilcock's work over the years due to my research on the supernatural, paranormal, and UFOs. Thanks to people like David, I was able to find my way to the spiritual path. Check out his web site for a portal of information at Divine Cosmos. Similar to me, David can speak to his Higher Self and has learned a ton of stuff evident in his books, interviews, and seminars.

I love David Wilcock's videos, and all he brings to us to think about. I have learned so much through what he has shared.
There are a lot of people who think he is nuts, but isn't that how the mainstream thinks about anyone who comes up with ideas out of the "norm"?
Look at Eisenstein, Edgar Cayce, and many others who were scoffed in the beginning. If no one brought new ideas to the table we would still be living in caves using fire for light.

Have you read that book? It answers so many questions about things that are happening on earth right now.
I'm going to put together a thread this weekend where I had some of my paranormal experiences answered by what he says in the book. It is AWESOME!

i've had my fair share of experiences with the paranormal, it started when i was about 12/13 and im 40 now, i wouldn't give it up for the world, there has been one incident that scared the hell out of me and that i can't make it out for the life of me what it meant, and i would not ever want to experience something like it EVER again, but its a long story.

Spirit Guides can be transformed into any physical form as well, including plants and animals. So a stranger at the grocery store can test or guide you in certain situations without you realizing it.

I was looking back through the thread for a certain post and came across this. It reminded me that I wanted to share an experience that I never got back to at the time.
I made a thread about it, but it isn't showing up in my thread profile (along with many others that are missing!).

So, I guess I'll have to tell it again here. Sigh...

There was a man that walked the road that I would see every morning on my way home. I thought maybe he had to walk to work. I felt bad for him, but I didn't know if I should stop and ask him if he needed a ride, or not, because I'm a woman alone. That may not be such a good idea.

This man threw up his hand at me every morning and seemed like a nice guy. So after a few months of passing him by, my guilt got the best of me because the weather had turned really cold, and he was out there walking.

I slowed down, stopped, rolled my window down and asked if he needed a ride to work, or some place.
He said, "Oh no, Honey. I'm just out walking and looking at the beautiful world and all the beautiful ladies." He grinned from ear to ear. LOL

I told him it was too cold to be out walking, but he insisted it wasn't. So, I told him good-bye and left.

I just always felt like I was being tested to see if I would stop to help a stranger. I felt really good when I finally did. But I must admit I was really glad he didn't need one.
I felt like it was a test... and I passed.

I still see him every morning on my way home, and he throws up his hand and I toot as I go by. Nice old man.

Allow me to also share a similar story some years ago. I used to work at a local military base. One day, I was sitting on a bench in the PX (the base's equivalent to a mall) with a fellow worker just relaxing. Nearby the bench was a public phone. An old man walked up to it, put some money in, and couldn't get it to work right. He lost the money. He ran out of change too. He was like, "Oh darn it! Do any of you know where I can get more change?" The friend sitting next to me said, "You can get change at the PX Department Store over there." I said, "Nah, you don't have to do that. Here, just take some of these coins and use it." The old man thanked me, got his phone call, and then left.

The next day, the same old man came back and found me working. Now how did he know I was working there? I didn't wear a uniform or anything. I could of been a customer just sitting around like people at the mall. I have never seen him in my life! Anyways, he walked straight up to me and gave the money back. He put his hands on my shoulder and said, "I know you are a strong believer of God. Keep it up." He smiled, laughed for a bit, and walked away.

I never saw him again. Although he has manifested himself in other forms later on, for that was not the only time I was tested. Let me tell you something, the purer your thoughts are, the easier it is for you to see, feel, and encounter your own spirit guides, watchers (lower angels who help people), nature spirits (fairies, gnomes, undines), and sometimes the heavenly hosts (Archangels, Seraphs). When you are almost devoid of emotional baggage and negative mental thoughts, you can see the Higher Planes while wide awake. So the next time you see a fairy sitting next to you at night looking at the stars, don't run away! They are just letting you know that your mind is at the right place!

On the other hand, if your mind is quite emotional and full of negative energy throughout the day, you will see the ghosts and demonic beings people on this thread are so familiar with. Where ever your mind is, that is what you will see (while in the physical body or afterlife). This also affects the types of dreams you will have. As I said, all things come from consciousness.

You would think someone like this would not be having negative thoughts.
Were the demons attracted to them because of their thoughts, or because they wanted to battle one of God's children and hopefully prevent him from spreading "God's word"?

It is because of both. I have been through the same thing, as I was also a street preacher for years. I was a devoted "Christian" preaching the "Word of God" to anybody I encountered. I owned my own store for about 10 years. So it was easy for me to interactive with people without getting fired. Despite my eagerness to follow God in any way possible at the time, I still got attacked by demons at least 3-4 times a week. You see, the more devoted you are as a believer of God, the more demons want to attack you. But you are not strong enough spiritually to confront demons yet. Also, being a Christian is not enough to stray away from negative thoughts. Because no version of Christianity (nor most religions) teaches you the proper way to train and balance your mind. Emotional unbalances can also attract demons just as well. This means that you get angry, jealous, sad, fearful, frustrated, or disgusted rather easily.

Some examples of negative thoughts that people don't realize: "Is God going to answer my prayers or not?" "I wonder if they are going to lay me off from work?" "Uh, I'm such an idiot for doing that!" "I can never live up to Jesus' teachings." "Is it the weekend yet? I'm so sick of work." A negative thought doesn't have to be hatred or spiteful feelings against somebody. It can be very subtle that you didn't even realize it was a negative thought. Especially the higher class demons, they are very sensitive to your thoughts and actions. They know more about you than you know yourself. So you ask, "Why doesn't God protect me from demons?" No matter how much protection he gives you, the negative thoughts and actions will always attract demons back to you. Not only that, it opens up a doorway to your psyche. The more negativity (this also includes thoughts of violence, lust, and sexual perversions), the wider the door. God can't close the door for you, only you can do that. It is the Law of Free Will.

But I do want to explain something rather interesting. If you encounter demons or bad dreams pretty often, it is a good sign initially. It is a sign that your mind is getting stronger for God. If you keep encountering demons without any decline for more than a year, this is bad. This means that you are not getting any stronger spiritually. You are stagnating. Don't forget that even if you are in Heaven right now, you still gotta work on ascending your mind and heart to the next level of God.

I think my mind must be okay. I have never encountered a demon before, unless that thing that bothered me as a child was a demon. I only saw it one time after many years of it lurking about. Whatever it was, it was a dark color. It could just have been an evil spirit. The more evil the spirit, the darker in color they appear.

I don't know why a demon is attracted to a child. My thoughts were pure and innocent at that time. What made it seek me out, if it was a demon, in your opinion?

I have an opinion on that.

I believe that people who are going to make some sort of difference in the world,(predestined to a point) no matter how small it seems, are "followed" from birth by both good and dark energies/intelligences. Something of a negative nature is much more likely to make itself known to a child because they scare easily. As they get older these things will try to sway them in a negative direction putting them off course. Just like positive energies will do the same to keep one on course. The only difference is something positive would not normally show itself to a child because it knows the child will startle and scare, and it will keep things subtle unless there is a need for otherwise. Negative energies like to bend the rules so to speak, and cheat in order to sway in a negative direction.
They will scare the daylights out of a child if given the chance.

Perhaps you are meant for something awesome or already did something awesome!

Darkblade got it correct about your soul's will, experience, and characteristics carried through many lives. Because when you are reincarnated into a new life, you continue exactly where you left off. A demon is attracted to a child because of his or her fearful nature. Remember the emotional unbalance I talked about? A child is more likely to be scared of an evil soul than an adult. In fact, most kids are scared of a lot of things. However, if you were a very strong, spiritual person in a past life, even as a kid, a demon will not try to scare you. Your Astral doorway is shut too tight, and the light in your aura is too powerful for a demon to come near you. Demons will try anyways though; because as I said, if it is successful in scaring you, then you will misqualify God's light into dark energy so they can use it. That's the only way they can survive.

Yes, it was a demon you saw as a child because of the darkness in the figure. Ghosts don't try to scare you nor try to suck life energy from you. They just try to communicate and get your attention by floating or walking around with not much of a purpose. They are usually lighter in color and have human figures. Ghosts do have a dark energy to them as well, but not even close to the strength that demons have. When you encounter a demon, not only are you frightened to death, but their presence alone will cause your body to tremble with hardly any energy left and you can barely breath. Demons also don't have a problem communicating with you. They have the power to manipulate the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of your mind and body. They can talk to you in a distinct voice or make crazy noises that are nerve racking to the bone.

Another thing I want to mention is to stay away from all aspects of horror movies, books, magazines, video games, journals, or whatever medium relating to the dark side. Remember the saying, "Curiosity killed the cat." When you read up, watch, or experience fictional and nonfictional (Ghost Hunter series) tales of horror, you are also opening up doors in your psyche to demonic activities. This includes vampiric movies like "Twilight." Don't be deceived into thinking that all this young love with a vampire is innocent, it is broadcasting dark energy into your mind subconsciously. I have mentioned this before but not in depth. Until demons are actually AFRAID of you, and you can cast them out using only your mind, then I would stay away from all forms of darkness.

I absolutely love watching scary movies, and I enjoy reading the experiences of others here in the thread.

I feel like I'm offering people a place to come find answers along with others who have experienced the paranormal without being ridiculed. As long as people keep sharing, I'll be here to listen.

Sometimes it helps just to know someone else has gone through the same thing, and allows the person to know they aren't crazy.
I think I must be good at this, because this thread is the longest running paranormal thread on ATS, to my knowledge, and the only one I have seen without a bunch of people ridiculing and attacking the person.

I haven't been affected by negative beings by watching shows, or reading other's accounts. I know some people could be, but I am strong enough not to allow it because I know I am "protected".
The t.v. shows are merely entertainment for me, and sometimes I learn things that can help others; So I suppose I will continue watching them.
I have been able to work on my spiritual development for many years without giving my entertainment up, and I will continue to work on it.

Right now I'm working on that thread I told you I was going to put up. It is very detailed and a lot of research has to be done. So, I'll get back to that now. This could take me all night... and possibly some of tomorrow night.

ok, here goes! it happened 20 years ago and i remember it like it happened 5 minutes ago. what happened was absolutely terrifying for me. il explain everything in detail so you get the whole picture.
i lived in a block of flats and some were just a large room with kitchen and bathroom just off the large room which was bedroom come lounge, i had that one (the room) instead of a bed i had a bed sofa (only a small sofa). i was in an awful relationship at the time he used to hit me and cheat but at this point he was in prison for burglary. this one night i decided to just sleep on the floor with the quilt over me, i always kept the tv on for background noise and light, back in those days tv stations used to shut down at a certain time and it would be just white noise and snow effect. beside me there was a little round table with a black tin on it. so i went to sleep only to be woken immediately by the tin banging violently on the table, the door being banged against the wardrobe violently and something was running around me and the sofa, just kept running round me, i had the quilt pulled up over my head, i was sweating my arse off and my heart was going so fast i thought it would jump out, it was really hot under that quilt, there was no way i was looking, no way that quilt was coming off BUT, although i never looked, the thing running around me i could 'sense' was small, no taller than 3ft and as quick as it started it finished, just like that it was gone, i threw the quilt off, grabbed some clothes and ran out into the corridor and got dressed while running to get to the phone box outside, i called my dad and he picked me up and i stayed there for the night, i cannot remember what time is was though, lol i didn't look. so the next day mum brought me back (no one believed me) everything was 'normal'. i knew i wasn't going to sleep there that night, i stayed out in the corridor, there were benches out there and a massive window, as i sat there during that night i had this feeling, urge that i should look up at the window, it was a really weird feeling, slowly i looked up and i mean slowly, i hardly moved my head it was my eyes i moved up more there stood a reflection of the bloke i was with just stood there, even though he was in prison, i only looked for a couple of seconds, frightened the bloody life out of me, there was no one else there except for me. morning came, i went back into the room and took a bath, got out and was doing my hair in the bathroom mirror when the tin started banging on the table i just froze and then the intercom buzzed (you had a buzzer that you answered to speak to people and let them in) i answered it and it was like something out of the exorcist, i heard thee most horrific evil laugh you could possibly imagine so i ran out the door to the window to see if there was anyone there and there wasn't, no one was in the downstairs of that building, needless to say i never slept there for a while, nothing else happened whatever the hell it was went and has not been back since (touch wood) i swear on my life it was horrific, i've never been so scared in my entire life, i have told a few people about this and they cannot come up with any explanation apart from one which is as the table and the tin were my grandparents and i was practically brought up by them that it was them trying to warn me of the bloke i was with, but no, no way would my grandparents do something like that and frighten me nearly to death, i had never touched a ouija board or evp before this happened either. all i can think of is, could it have had something to do with the tv and the white noise? (i do evp now, been doing it for several years) but i have not got a clue as to what the hell it was, i would be so grateful if anyone could shed any light on it, thanks for reading.
