Oh, Wow! That was a terrible experience! Geeezzzzze!

What comes to mind is that your boyfriend was into black magic, or he met someone in prison that was, and he used this black magic to scare you.
Or, he could have been having out of body experiences, and visiting you. Or, he could have called on one of the lower spirits to do it. Sounds like he was evil enough to do such a thing!

Electronic equipment can be used by demons and spirits to communicate, as well. You know this, since you are doing EVPs. I have had many people on the thread that have told of evil voices coming across their phone. He could have summoned one to speak to you.

You say nothing else happened after that; that's great! Consider yourself blessed! Once these type of visitations start they usually just get worse until something is done to get rid of them.

I appreciate you sharing your story. Maybe others will come along to offer more feedback.

thats funny you should say that, one of his friends had come out of prison and we got talking and he came round, i honestly cannot remember if i told him what had happened but i do remember this person telling me that either he or my ex had a friend in prison at that time that used to do the ouija board in prison and could do obe's and stuff, we must have been talking about ghosts and stuff or i must have told him what happened for him to have said something like that. thanks for your reply. its certainly got me thinking.

Bump, bump, bump!

Any lurkers out there have any paranormal experiences to share?

I thought I saw a UFO last night, but one of my co-workers has an app on his phone where you can point at the sky and it will tell you which star or planet you are seeing.

It turned out to be Sirius. That thing was flashing blue, red, green, orange, yellow... just going crazy!!

I was a little disappointed it turned out NOT to be a UFO. Ha!

you aint going to believe this! i've been dying to tell someone on here, i went and had a smoke yesterday in the garden at 4.50pm and heard a plane (we usually get the Lancaster flyover as its base is not far from me) looked up and saw it was just one of those little planes that rich people fly on a weekend it was quite high up and i noticed 2 white circles (later looked it up as spheres) they didn't move, the plane flew directly under them, so there i am hurting my neck staring at these two things that didn't move then i looked at the plane and out of nowhere there was another white circle that looked like it was chasing after the plane, it just glided at a speed like nothing here and disappeared, looked back at the other two and they were gone, this was broad daylight the sky was blue, it must have been about 3 minutes it was pointless getting my phone as it wouldn't have caught them and my camera has no batteries, im usually the first person to jump on someone and say no camera no evidence but when you seen something like that you just stare at it and don't want to move, i put it on facebook and a couple of people commented but.. it was only saturday i asked my dad if he had ever seen anything in the sky and he said no, the next day i see 3, its took 40 years for me to see this prob won't ever see anything like it again, how the hell can something just stand still in the sky and not fall out? i was going to put it on UK ufo on facebook but i dunno. whoever was in that plane must have seen them. il just keep my eye open on facebook and see if anyone reports anything. is this common in broad daylight? they aint doing a good job at keeping themselves secret!

Yes, they come out in the day time too. I'm glad you finally got to see one/two for yourself. Now you will understand the rest of us aren't crazy after all.

I saw one on my way to work back in the early spring on my way to work, but my camera was home, so no pics.

I put my camera in the car after that, and it showed up again. I pulled over to get a pic... my batteries were dead!

I have tried several times to get a picture of this thing, but when it shows up I either am running late and don't have time to pull over, or I don't have my camera, or the batteries turn out to be dead.
When conditions fall into place to get a pic, it doesn't show up. It's very frustrating!!!

I know it's a UFO because it stopped in the sky and hovered, flashed read, blue, and green ( if I remember correctly) lights, and even shot a white beam at me. It "danced" around in the sky as if to say, "Ha, Ha! You don't have a camera to catch me! Ha, Ha!"
My cell phone is a dinosaur with no camera. I haven't upgraded because I only use it for emergencies. I see no need to upgrade just so I can "keep up with the Jones' " .

Did the ones you saw look like clouds, or metallic? Sometimes they hide in round clouds.

ha! they sound like they are playing with you, how did you feel when they beamed the light on you? have you had any of these strange experiences because of that? im the same with regards to the phone, mine costs about £4 but i love it, its easy to use and mostly use it for recordings but my son has the state of the art phone, as they do! when i find out how to upload a photo il put one on that was exactly the same, i did put it on uk ufo in the end just incase the pilot of the plane writes in.

i knew i should have got some batteries last weekend!

When it beamed the light on me I felt like it was acknowledging that it knew I was watching it, and it was saying, "Hi. I see you!" LOL Yeah, that was VERY frustrating not having a camera to catch it that night!

My entire life has been "high strangeness", so I couldn't say if anything weird has happened because of it shooting a beam at me.
It would just be another day for me.

After many months of trying, I saw something else in the sky one night. I made a thread about it with pics:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

After having "experts" with cameras go over it with a fine tooth comb, it seems to have a logical explanation. But, it was really exciting trying to figure out what it was.

I'll get that other joker one of these days. I know it's the "real deal".

I have experienced lots of ghostly tails.. Many years ago I lived in a mansion that dated from 1878 or so. Most rooms within that mansion were rented by students I was the only one working.

When this mansion was renovated I helped the owner renovating the attic just to later rent both rooms of the three that were on the top.

before the renovation the attic was a real dark attic with very narrow windows with almost no light, very spooky .

After awhile when everything was renovated the rooms were flooding with light and the walls were all painted white ...

But one day I sat behing my computer in the evenings when it started to happen. spontaneously doors started to open like the locks had defects and one day it was very late I was behing my computer and something pinched me right in my back.. I jumped op screeming get the f... outa here. I don't want you here.

weeks and months passed and on summer evening my neighbor student came home knocked the door to ask me if I turned on the gas to boil some thee water on the kettle, I remember that I've heard the kettle whistling half hour before she came home, and I knew that nobody was in the house that evening.

Soon after I moved.. I'm spiritual person it lays in my roots and I'm aware of entities when I open myself for it , I still get messages from the other side once and awhile, mostly relatives and friends that have past. They also warn me when somethings not right or dangerous to walk path...I appreciate that they help in some occasions ..

peace

I have seen ghosts on 4 separate occasions, I have had 2 out of body experience, I have had 1 vision, I have written 1 prophetic poem that was referencing the next day, have had a relic that I consider holy, I have mind melded on 1 occasion, and I have known a person's rather unique name without being told (Keenya), and I spoke with spirits through a wiji board.

First the poem, I had been hanging out with a friend after the military, who was not a very good influence on my character. I was not in my right mind, and it was late- September 10th 2011. I wish that I would have kept the poem, but I didn't. One line was basically about Terror being pushed on society like the air that we breathe. Pushed by shadows. As you can imagine, just the reference to Terror was enough to make me question my mind the next morning.

One out of body experience that I had was when I was 16, I was riding my bike home late at night, and coasted into an intersection, and I was struck by a car. When I opened my eyes, I was standing on the hood of a green car, and people were running from their cars. I didn't immediately notice where they were running too, but instead looked up into the sky, which looked to be some sort of vortex of blackness. It looked alive, and the sky seemed close enough that I could touch it.
It was around this time that I noticed the people gathering about 15 feet away from where I stood, and I realized that it was me that they were gathering about. All of the sudden I felt extreme horror, I thought "oh my God, I can't die yet!" And that is when I sat up in a group of people. They were saying "thank God", and asking me if I was ok. My bike was bent at the main part of the frame, and under the car that hit me (also the car that I was standing on). I had minor injuries, but I was extremely confused.

I don't know who the spirits were that my friend and I spoke to through the wiji board, but they were telling us things that were confirmed to be true, that neither of us had prier knowledge of. If anyone would be suspicious, it would have been towards me, because I asked the questions. I was later told that there were 7 spirits following me around- I didn't really believe that though. And later, while on a military tour in Okinawa Japan, I saw two ghosts. Absolutely beyond a doubt in my mind, I saw these apparitions, and both seemed to be taunting me. The first one I encountered in a dark, hallway of a barracks that was no longer housing personnel, and he approached me as I backed up against the wall, and then he stopped in front of me and began to shake his body and roll his eyes back in his head. the second ghost I saw while standing guard in an empty parking lot in back of a barracks after 2 in the morning. I was there for an hour and a half, and then decided to get out of the van that I was in, and stretch my legs. When I got out, I reached back into the van for my juice, and when I came out, I saw a man crouching in the grass, in the middle of the building. As soon as I saw him, he stood up and began running in place, in slow motion. I then noticed that he didn't have legs from the knees down. When I looked away to get my radio, and looked back, there was no one there.

After getting out of the military, I started meditating and church hopping. During one particular meditation session, I got myself into a comfortable reclining position in a completely dark room, and began to breathe heavily in and out. I had no intentions, other than relaxing. After a few minutes, my breathing became easier, and I decided to continue to slow my breathe down, my eyes seemed to perceive something behind my eyelids, and my breathing continued to slow. At some point, it became hard to tell if I was breathing in or out, and at the final point, I couldn't tell if I was breathing at all. After this, my body suddenly left, but my consciousness appeared out in deep space, I only saw it for a moment, but there were stars all around me, and then I freaked out and woke up instantly. I have never made it back there, nor have I tried circular breathing again.

Thanks for sharing your story.

I'm glad you got out of that house. When spirits start messing with the gas its time to vamoose! LOL

It's also good that you have loved ones who help to guide and warn you of danger ahead. I think we all do, it's just that some people don't "listen" to the message, or think it's just their own imagination, so they ignore it... only to find out "the hard way" that they should have listened to "that little voice".

WOW! You HAVE been through some amazing experiences! Awesome! Thank you for sharing them here.

That bike accident freaked you out, I bet! Did it make you change anything about your life afterwards?
Most people that have a NDE report big changes in their thinking, and the way they live.

Your military experiences are right up there with some others I've heard. These military posts must be incredibly haunted!

I had a member post on my thread about his experiences in boot camp. He had so many, I complied all of them into a thread because he had them scattered all through it.
You might enjoy reading them:

I would say that the near death experience freaked me out! And my life has changed since the experience, but it took about 10 years. But I think that my attitude about life got far worse before it got better- I don't want to make any specific confessions here, but I was a bad kid, and I just barely graduated high school. It wasn't until the military that I settled down- a small amount. And then when I got out, I tried very hard to get the taste of military soap out of my mouth. I was out of my own control, and almost died because of my actions.
Finally I enrolled in art school, and tried very hard to temper my attitude into something that could actually read a book. After two years, I met my wife, who didn't even like me at first! But now we are happily married, an experience that still amazes me. I do thank God for what peace I have in my life.

One other thing that happened now that I am going...
It is a Christian story-

As an artist, I collect a lot of materials and objects. I am going to regret it when we move. I have boxes of bugs, bits of cars found on the road, sticks, and rocks, and weird shaped plastic items, photos, and notes and bits of paper, boxes and jars, and a lot more. Over the course of a few years, I started collecting little things inside of these small jars. In one there is an elk tooth, in another a chunk of tree sap, in others a lady bug, a plastic gem, and buffalo hair to name a few.
Shortly after my first child was born, I was out in my artist shack listening to talk radio on a little alarm clock, painting and moping around. I wasn't getting any construction work to provide for us, and I was frustrated and anxious. I decided that I would take a walk and perhaps clear my head and fill it with new ideas. I switched off the radio (I assumed) and went in the house to ask my wife if I could leave for the day. She had a girlfriend over, so it wasn't a problem. As I walked away from the house I wondered if I should walk the distance from my town to the next- 12 miles. On the walk I started picking up scraps of things, taking photos with my cellphone, and investigating barns and abandoned buildings along the way. After a while I started noticing a large amount of dead bees. Not just honey bees, but bumble bees, and hornets too. I picked up a particularly large bumble bee and carried with me clenched in my hand for the remainder of the walk- Probably 9 miles.
After the walk, I called my wife and she picked me up, and at home, I went to my shed that I used as an art studio to drop off my new objects, and to add the bumble bee to my jar collection. I unscrewed the lid and dropped the bee in, and then screwed it shut and set it back on the shelf. Then I counted them, and on the twelfth and final jar the radio alarm clock started blaring its loud alarm, and when I looked up at it perched on the shelf with the little jars, it was flashing 12:00. I have a video of the clock flashing, and I still have the jars too. To me the jars symbolize the 12 apostles. That is probably one of my most obvious and personally amazing examples of synchronicity that I have ever experienced.
Thank you for your time!

COOL!
It would be great if you could get yours up here and make a thread. There are people here who can do wonders with a camera picture and bring it in for an up-close look.

In order to get a video up, you first have to make a You Tube video, then post it here.

For pictures, upload the pic to your computer, then go to the "down arrow" in the menu and click "upload". Then click the "upload" arrow in the left top, select files, then hit the upload arrow again. Then... click once on the picture you want to share. A list of choices will come up. I always just highlight the top one and copy/paste it to the post.

You are right... they don't make it easy!

I used to love watching scary movies too for years. These days, I don't watch them anymore due to my spiritual training. They don't affect my psyche or anything like that. However, they do lower my consciousness. In our everyday life, we raise and lower our pipeline to the 5th Dimension all the time in the things that we do. This pipeline is also known as the Antahkarana, or your connection to your Higher Self in the 5th Dimension. As you raise your consciousness, you get more light cast down unto your 4 bodies, including your physical body.

This thread is fine. Reading the experiences that people have and helping them understand what they saw is a positive thing. Do the ghost stories lower your mind? Yes a little bit. But then gossiping does that as well. :-) I would trade lowering my mind a little bit to help people any day. It's all about the love, which will in turn raise your mind twice as much!

It's been a while since I was in this thread, I'm pretty sure I posted some things a while back in it? I'll have to search and do some more reading. I do remember spending hours reading in here and staying up way too late. haha

Anyway I just wanted to drop a couple links in here since this is the "go to" thread for paranormal experiences; I just hunted down these posts in other threads. This first link is just me sharing a couple of old stories that involved my dog, one of which was pretty creepy. I may have shared these two in this thread earlier (and made a reference to that when I posted lol) but I can't remember, I apologize if I have:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

This next link is from the same thread but it goes into some stories about living with my ex girlfriend, I'm pretty sure this was the first time I shared them in any amount of detail. In the third link I mentioned that she had blocked a lot of this stuff out or rationalized it but I always wrote everything down within a day or two of it happening, because it was interesting to me. A lot of it is NOT personal experience, but things I was told by my ex or other people involved:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

And this last link is a slightly more in-depth version of one of the stories from the last link, with an update:

Of course, any time. I've got quite a few odd stories tucked away in my journal. I'm just not sure which ones I've already shared years ago and I try not to repeat myself, combined with some sort of posting anxiety evidenced by my join date vs my post count for someone who is here every day or so for hours at a time :p If you haven't noticed I'm kind of stalking your threads, I can't help it. Always good stuff.

Actually since I'm here, this is another one that happened the same day as the event I posted about in your Parallel Dimensions thread, it's sort of along the same lines. (link to that post for anyone else who may care). Just as a warning to lower your expectations, this one also sounds trivial and mundane.

I got home that day around 3 or 4 PM as a guess, and got on the computer. My mom and her husband left for a while and around 6 or 7 I went outside to have a smoke. I unlocked the car, grabbed a cig, walked around or whatever, put it out in the ashtray, then locked up and went back inside. When they came back it was dark and my mom told me the interior light was on in my car. I figured I hadn't shut the door all the way or something, but when I went out there it was shut and the light was turned on using the switch. Maybe I left it on earlier? Wait a minute, when I last came out it wasn't even dark yet and on top off that the light would have come on with the door, why would I switch it to "on" unless I was inside with the door shut in the dark? And the last time I had gone to my car in the dark was around midnight the night before when I was at the friend's house, and I just grabbed something out of the door panel. Surely even if I had turned it on then, after 14 hours it would have killed the battery (again). Maybe I turned it on when I was taking a picture of my key clip since it was kind of nasty outside then. But again, I had the door open to do that so it would have been on anyway, on top of the fact that it's not really bright enough to have made a difference especially underneath the dash.

It's little things like that which drive me crazy. At least if I saw an apparition or something I'd know. Laugh at me if you want, but this kind of stuff just makes me go WTF when I sit down and think about it. I just don't think I'm that absent minded to have switched on my light during the day when it was already on with the door anyway.

Ok. Like I said, this is a bit creepy. This doesn't happen often, maybe once a month. Sometimes when I'm asleep, I wake up cause I feel something walking across the foot of the bed. Not like a person, but, you know when a cat is not sure of it's footing, how they will carefully, step by step go across something? Like that. Very light, very slow. I usually fall asleep with the TV on and there is enough light to see that nothing is there. I never sit up suddenly, just open my eyes enough to see and watch. We have cats, but I have felt these foot steps going across the bed while being able to plainly see there's no cat in the room.. I saw a docu a while back of some woman having a similar problem and actually caught hers on video. A nasty, creepy looking little creature, about the size of a small monkey. But, so far,I haven't seen anything.

My first post here but this one really caught my attention. This happens to me a couple times a week and we do have two cats and I've almost always had cats so I know what the feeling of a cat is jumping onto the bed and slowly/carefully walking across me. So many times I'm fully awake watching videos on my iPad and I feel it but the cats are nowhere to be found. I used to travel cross country alone in my 20's in my car. It happened once while sleeping at a rest area....no cats around. Preceding the cat walking on me sensation was what woke me up, the car shaking like people where all around it rocking it. As I was waking up the critter walking on me sensation happened. This really freaked me out. Some nights as I'm falling asleep I will feel the bed vibrating and something touching me on my leg or my back. Like gently poking me but there is nothing there. This kind of thing has happened as far back as I have memories as a small child.

I have so many other strange things that have happened to me in my life. Horrible horrible nightmares of mass destruction from too early of an age to understand that sort of thing. I've had a couple precognitive dreams as a child that many years had passed and I come back to my parents home and things are different. Different people live there with my dad and the house is different. In one it was the surrounding land was different. These dreams would reoccur fairly often enough that in the dream I would "know" what was going to happen next. Fast forward 20 years and hadn't gone back home for as long but go to visit my dad. My mom passed away before I moved, my dad had remarried and had a child. They had my step moms family living with them and my dad had remodeled the house. The surrounding land had been bought up and new homes where built there. ALL of it was exactly...EXACTLY like the dreams I had as a child. The people, the remod, the furniture, the homes next door.

I've had many little precog dreams through my life and I've made it a point to talk about my dreams so when it happens it's not just déjà vu. My father has visions while awake that come true on a daily basis and his new wife is amazed at how accurate he is. We bond with this type of stuff
I knew the exact moment of my grandmothers death and my mothers death. I just knew it. I was not close emotionally to either one of them, although my mother visited me a week or so after her death. I was washing dishes and felt someone walk up behind me and in the reflection of the window above the sink I saw her standing behind me. I feel that sometimes now, not a physical touch but just a presence of someone standing near me. I know it's her, but I've never seen her again like I did that night.

I see shadow people often enough for it to not frighten me anymore. They are just there. I came to the conclusion that they are just beings in a dimension next to ours that bleeds through and some people can just see them.

I'm also what I guess is called an empath. I can walk into a room and my mood/attitude/feelings change to what those in the room are feeling. It happens when I get in close proximity...say 10 feet or so. It is one of the most annoying things because it can bring my great mood right down. I know there has to be a way to block it or control it but I haven't figured it out in my 40 years.

I also think I've had a mischievous spirit/poltergeist following me around my whole life who hides things. Stupid things like the other day I was searching high and low for the cat brush. I even had my husband helping me look. At my wits end and ready to buy another one, I found it sitting on the kitchen table. It was not there before and that was confirmed by my husband. It was the only object on the kitchen table so it wasn't like it was under a pile of stuff or anything. A couple times a month this happens and has happened since I was in elementary school. I remember being blamed for hiding things and I would get sent to my room for lying. Ugh.

Anyway.....one heck of a first post.
