Has Anyone Had More Than One Type of Paranormal Experience?

While I'm thinking about it, I'd like to thank the folks at ATS for allowing us regular people to speak our minds and share our experiences without ridicule. The "powers that be" seem to have the collective opinion that regular people, the nation as a whole, are totally stupid and have no idea what they see, hear, or know. Naw, that wasn't a UFO flying in circles at warp speed around your house, flashing different lights in every direction... it was the sun, glinting off a 747 way up there in that big ol' sky, so don't you fret none sweetie. Thank goodness for ATS and the people who start such open, fascinating threads on here, like Sled735!!!

When this session ended, I read it back over several times. I was still stunned, and more than a little frightened at what I’d just written. I thought to myself, now what the heck am I supposed to do with this? A few moments later I got my answer:

"This is to be published. You must find each other, you who have been chosen… we must lead by example. Many have been called – do you hear? Will you answer?"

WOW, SCRIBE611 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS HAS LEFT ME SPEECHLESS! Thanks for sharing this AWESOME message here!

This is what's making me respond to your post. There are Sufi mystics who believe that once upon a time, humans could see and interact with angels, spirits, demons etc freely. This was a long time ago. There was no 'veil' separating the human world from the non-human, until humans starting taking advantage of it and sought to learn forbidden knowledge from these creatures. After many warnings and countless people hurt, God put a veil on human eyes. Because corruption had taken hold of mankind and there was no other way to ensure a healthy future anymore. The same mystics who believe this, also believe that the veil will be lifted close to the end of times.

I can't help but wonder if this is the same veil you were talking about.

Thanks for your comments... something to look into more, definitely. I don't know anything about the Sufi mystics, but I'll do some more research. Research has become a hobby of mine after that session on Dec. 5! I remember seeing a show on one of the History channels a couple of years ago that said the word Apocalypse came from a Latin phrase meaning the lifting of the veil... whether that's true or not I have no idea, since I don't speak Latin, but it certainly got my attention!

The channeling is interesting reading, but I don't know anything about channeling.

A few more questions on the first UFO that looked like a hat.
(1) Do you remember if the wind was blowing from behind your left shoulder? That would explain the tilt.
(2) When you describe the coloring as like a creamsicle would it be fair to say that areas of the saucer where the surface was foreshortened from your perspective were glowing orange - such as the rim of the hat and the outline of the saucer against the sky? Also did the orange areas appear blurry while the white areas were clear?

(Sorry, if you don't remember these details that is o.k. I'm just trying to compare your sighting with a book I've been reading. Most people don't get to see them that close.)

No problem, cloudyday - I remember it very clearly. There was no wind at all, it was a very quiet, calm night. I know this because our windows in the truck were down to let cool night air in, and all we could hear were crickets. I don't know exactly how long the truck's engine was off, but I remember being startled when my dad started it back up to head over to water the chickens. I know we sat there several minutes, because my dad kept saying it must be some gas station light (the old Union 76 signs were round and orange), but the thing is that field and everything way behind it was nothing but grass and a wooded area. Nothing had been developed, and it was a long time before any businesses or homes went in. And it actually was a lot like a luminary, it glowed orange but it didn't project any light from its surface. The dome in the middle rose slightly at the top, from it being tilted down a bit, and it was darker toward the back of it. The lightest part, more whitish orange, was the front of the dome and it gradually darkened as it reached the edge which was tilted down. Another feature I remember, but didn't mention in the first post, was the lights around the edge. The colored lights were grouped in three - red, yellow and green - then a white light sort of spaced out to itself away from the three, then that alternated several times around the very edge... maybe five times repeated, three cololred lights always separated by the single white light. I actually have a colored pencil drawing of this, but I can't figure out how to get my avatar to show up, much less post a picture! I'm learning, though...

I really appreciate being able to speak openly about everything in this thread. It's not just one or the other, I love the fact you included all kinds of paranormal experiences, because a lot of us have had more than one kind. I just hope the channeling thing isn't too far outside your parameters; it IS a bit different!

When I bought my first house in 2007, I already knew that it had been owned by an elderly couple who absolutely loved the house, and I also knew that they had both passed away. I hadn't been there long before I had quite a scare. I was scared to death, being on my own for the first time, so I paid attention to every sound, thinking someone might be breaking in on me. I left the bathroom light on for a few weeks, and it shone in my room against the far wall. When I laid on my right side I faced that wall, so every time I'd hear something strange I pried my eyes open a bit to make sure nothing was going on. This one night I heard something and opened my eyes, expecting nothing, and there were two shadows on the wall, like two people were peeking around the door at me. They were from about shoulders up. I came out of that bed swinging... I knew for sure someone had broken into my house! Once I realized it was only ghosts, not people, I calmed down a little. My heart was still in my chest, but I had a real good idea who they were. They had to be the previous owners, curious about who was in their precious little house. I told them they scared me to death, but I needed some sleep, so goodnight. I saw one shadow a couple of times after that, but not both. Interestingly enough, I also had a metallic click that had awakened me three or four times during the first few months I was there. It would startle me, then I'd hear nothing more so I finally went back to sleep. The morning after this happened, I'd notice my deadbolt was unlocked on my front door. I thought I was forgetting to lock it, so I made sure one night that it was locked, andheaded off to bed. Sure enough, about 1 in the morning (when I'd usually hear it), I heard that click. By now I was suspicious of what it really was, so I got up and checked - there was my deadbolt unlocked. I yelled, "Alright this is not funny, I need my dang door locked!" It only happened once more in the four and a half years I lived there. My dog at the time also saw someone at the top of the basement stairs on several occasions, and it scared her enough to make her hide and peep out, looking from me to the stairs. I asked if she was seeing somebody I couldn't, and told her it was alright for them to be there, they were just checking on the place, and she seemed to be okay with it. She kept her eyes on it for a while, though.

This is a little hard to put into words,in a way that will accurately describe what i saw happen here in massachusetts,early one morning in the autumn of 2001...

I was sitting in a parking lot around 5 am waiting for my brother to get out of work,so i could drive him home.This parking lot was big and i could see a lot of open sky and it was still mostly dark outside.The dawns light was just starting to brighten the horizon...

So i'm just sitting there alone for about 20 minutes,thinking about nothing really and looking out the windsheild and by then the sky had gotten a little brighter.When all of a sudden,without warning,the light speeded up! It got brighter outside much faster than it should have! The morning light around me and in the sky accelerated and got brighter faster than it always does.I could'nt believe what i had just seen...

This is'nt easy to explain,but i'll try.Lets say that total darkness outside is a 1 and total daylight outside is a 10. Well i saw the light of the rising sun,the dawns brightness,go from a 3 to a 6 in about 5 seconds! It literally speeded up that fast! When normally that same progression of getting lighter outside,from a 3 to a 6,would take about 10 or 15 minutes?!?!

My very first thought,after thinking how most people probably would'nt believe me,was that someone or something had fallen asleep at the wheel.Someone or something had turned the morning light dial too quickly,i don't know !?!? But that's what i saw happen and thats when i first started thinking that we could be living in a simulated reality...Really Weird and Totally Bizarre...

More than once i have had our land line phone ring and when i answered it,bursts of cackling laughter and wild animal like growls came out of the phones speaker.I right away hung it up and within a split second it rang again and i again picked it up and heard those same terrible sounds and so as i was hanging it up a second time,it rang while off the hook in my hand! and i almost fainted with terror,it was so frightening that i felt like i was being lifted into the air and i threw the phone across the room in the direction of other people who were with me and they heard those same sinister sounds and one of those people said to me..."Theres a demon who doesnt like you"...

I agree totally, blocula! There is definitely a demon who is taunting you. You have had so many experiences with demons, I think if it were me, I would be contacting a demonologist to bless YOU, and get rid of this thing!

Bizarre in deed! Time warp, maybe? So many things happen that are so far "out there", I don't think the human brain can comprehend what is happening because it is coming from a different reality than what we are used to experiencing. Once the veil is lifted, as Scribe611 mentioned, I think all these things will become more clear to us in how it all works.

No, I consider channeling to be a paranormal topic because, after all, it is communication with something beyond our world.

So, concerning the post about the house you bought, did you ever ask the ghosts to leave, or have any type communication with them? If so, did they leave?
Interesting post! Wonder why they kept unlocking your door, and didn't do anything else? Strange!

I've heard voices,seen shadow people, and I've heard many unexplained sounds coming from within my old child home when i lived there. So every chance i get i go with close family to chase ghost. But we never get anything on camera or our voice recorders. Only with our ears and eyes do we capture our evidence. For me its seeking truth and reassurance of life after death. And let me just say that there is more beyond our life.

Once when i was around thirteen yeras old,i heard a powerful and very loud crash and bang sound on the roof of a single story house where i was babysitting two small kids one night,that came without warning and shook the living room we were in and sent the two little kids i was watching running out of the room in tears yelling to me,what was that !? what was that!? again and again and when i looked outside on the roof with a flashlight,there was nothing there,nothing on the ground and no marks on the roof...

When i was sixteen years old,i sensed an invisible presence in my bedroom at night,that seemed to move closer to me,then felt invisible lips kiss the side of my face,along with a breath of warm air from the mouth of something that seemed very female...

One hot and sunny summer afternoon,i saw a strange half human creature swimming horizontally through and against the oncoming ocean waves at nantasket beach,as my mother walked back to the car,i stayed behind in-tranced by what i was looking at,when i was around 5yrs old...

I agree totally, blocula! There is definitely a demon who is taunting you. You have had so many experiences with demons, I think if it were me, I would be contacting a demonologist to bless YOU, and get rid of this thing!

Blocula, the early Christian monks had some interesting ideas on demons that are different from how people think about them today. These monks were all ascetics and they were trying to reach a state of "blessed dispassion" - similar to Buddhism. So they associated demons with passions such as lust, gluttony, laziness, etc. The demons appeared in different forms, but they were more like personifications of temptation instead of actual beings. The monks physically wrestle with demons and so forth, but that is symbolic of the asceticism of their lifestyle.

So the idea people have today may not be quite right. Addicts of different kinds are essentially possessed by a passion and you could think of that as demon possession. And there is a spectrum between dispassion and addiction.

I think some of these paranormal manifestations are symbolic of what is going on in our lives. I'm not saying it isn't "real", but maybe it is symbolic of a problem rather than actually being the problem.

I don't know that much about demons except that I had some problems that seemed like demons.

i tried to share one of my exp but when i was done typing i accidently erased it
ive had at least four undeniable paranormal exp and i agree with the poster above me that these exp are
symbolic of thing happening in our lives but are definatly real
i think this quistion is very important, WHY are these things happening
i also think it might have something to do with the veil being lifted before end times, whatever end times may be

Sorry your story got erased before you could post it; sounds like something I've done before. Very frustrating!
What kind of patterns do you mean concerning the clouds? Maybe if you tell your experience it will help the readers to relate to your question better?
