Well.. it actually was due to the application of the taser.. If it was the tazer or the tazer that caused the fall what does it matter exactly. She wouldn't be dead without the tazer (which she is essentially if she is brain dead). She was handcuffed if the cop can't catch a handcuffed girl he should be fired anyway. She was running, which means she had velocity and should not have been tazed. Do they not train the cops on these things?

Man.. sometimes I wonder if the people on here are braindead.

Also I would like to take notice of all of my fellow "men" here that would defend the actions of the police even when they are killing our women and children here in the states.

It would be funny if it wasn't creepy. How does it benefit you guys?

Being handcuffed, there was zero chance for her arms to break her fall. Her braincase is what broke her fall.

What this fat a$$ out of shape pig did was wrong but what's even worse is the fact that the FDLE ruled the lard asses.actions were justified is a million times worse. I would love to have 10 minutes in a locked room with this fat ass "Tyranny Enforcement Officer", oh and he would be more than welcome to bring his Tazer if he would like but I guarantee you his fat ass would end up brain dead when it was over. I am so damn sick of stories like this. I served 10 years in Navy JSOC operations for what, so our citizens could be killed and injured by those sworn to protect and serve them? It seems that while I was off fighting our "enemies" overseas the really dangerous enemies were sitting right in our backyard. My father served in the Navy from 1942-1973 and retired a Rear Admiral and Ill never forget about 9 months before he died we were having one of our usual political conversations and he told me that he had come to realize that we were slowly turning into what so many men died to defeat in WWII.

Now I am really beginning to see how right he was......... America, land of the oppressed home of the abused.

How sad. I can only hope that nobody ever does that to anyone I care about, it wouldn't work out good for anyone involved I can guarantee that.

Oh that is sooo stupid. First it looks like she was handcuffed in the front originally (i think they would have noticed her stepping through/dislocating her own arms), second handcuffed in the back wouldn't allowed her to dampen her fall, especially when she was taZered.that is retarded. Actually it might have made the snap of her head worse, but definitely wouldn't havce dampened the fall WHEN SHE WAS TAZERED use your brain.

Plus I have only read that she was on drugs, nothing about hitting cars but that really doesn't change anything.

Two hit and runs.. most likely means on vehicles. She may have hit two parked cars and left the scene. You think that she deserves to die for that.

No. Her arms could not have broken her fall even if she was handcuffed in front. To use one's arms to break a fall requires that the person be able to control all the muscles involved in trying to do that. But the taser completely incapacited her. The only thing her body was capable of doing at the moment was falling and hitting the pavement hard. She had no use of any part of her body at that moment. If she had fallen forward, her face and the front of her head would have smashed into the pavement.

When i first saw this i was instantly pissed at the cop. Then i read the article which stated she was on coc aine and oxycotton and was arrested for 2 hit and runs. She got what she deserved. Now she can't drive around high and crash into sh*t anymore. Come on, if your 20 years old and all ready doing 2 drugs at once where do you think her life was headed. If it was your car she hit you would be pissed. What if she crashed into someone you cared about and killed them? How would you feel then? But the cop could of caught her if he wanted to. He was just lazy. He should of at least been suspended. You don't tazer a handcuffed suspect that you can catch in 10 seconds. Lesson of the story, don't do drugs.

They may have, they may not have. The article claims she did it while in the back of a police cruiser and I'm betting that despite having the arms behind makes it easier to control, the cops figured, handcuffed is handcuffed.

It all depends upon how she falls, had she tripped over her feet and went forward, her arms could have stretched outward and hit pavement under her face. There is no "definitely", would have could haves.
