No one with dentures in my family ever had cancer

Ditto, nowadays dentists like to leave a piece of the root to decay and generate future visits/business/$$$ instead of taking it all out like in the past century or so.

My Dentist commited suicide too. How strange. I wonder if the suicide rate amongst Dentists is higher than those that actually get cancer from dental treatment? Just a thought

Oh crap...I wear blue jeans and have filling on top of fillings. And have already had 2 root canals! I'm in serious trouble....

Someone get me an oncologist immediately...

Have you also eaten pickles? I hear they'll stop you in your tracks

Seriously though it may be something worth more study at least. I've been lucky and had no wisdom teeth or root canals, and the silver fillings I did have were replaced with ceramic a while back. Mercury is scary to me. It's a cause of mutations, not just deaths, so its kinda grousome to me. Looking into the research behind the documentary 'the Cove' made me cringe, heck that movie made me weep

In the past i have literally gone through hell with my teeth and i have gone to over 3 different oral surgeons through the years and everyone of them told me to "never get a root canal" and there must have been a very good reason for "all of them" telling me that...

I read that dentists and psychiatrists have the highest rate of suicide of all professions - because people fear them - because of the pain they represent. Teeth are very painful when in need of professional reparation and 'pulling' out buried memories and helping people make sense of painful life experiences is why a lot of people loathe the shrink.

I read this many years ago and recently saw a list of professions where people suicide and dentists and psychiatrists were still at the top.

Much Peace...

If you don't get a root canal (if you need one), you will be in severe pain, then get a tooth infection, then it will spread to your blood, then you will die.

Bad teeth is connected to all sorts of health ailments, filled or not. A live part of your body is ROTTING....

Want to know why this is crap? There are 40 million root canals performed annually in the US. There are less than 600,000 deaths caused by cancer each year. That is about 1.5% of the number of root canals performed.

I would love to see his information to see where he derived the 97% had root canals, do terminally ill cancer patients talk about root canals they had 20 years ago? I somehow don't think so. This guy is a quack.

I will see your 97% of patients had dental work

and raise you

100% of the patients breathed air and
100% of them also drank water.

So the chances of air or water causeing cancer is pretty darned high

Dr. Price was able to transfer diseases harbored by humans to rabbits, by implanting fragments of root-canaled teeth, as mentioned above. He found that root canal fragments from a person who had suffered a heart attack, when implanted into a rabbit, would cause a heart attack in the rabbit within a few weeks.

You think that's not credible? Hmmm sounds kind of fishy to me too. Unless you implant the fragments in the heart and they interfere with the heart valve. That could give the rabbit a heart attack, even if the fragments were from a person who hadn't suffered a heart attack.

The source is mercola and Mercola is featured on quackwatch.org:

FDA Orders Dr. Joseph Mercola to Stop Illegal Claims

Some people are so gullible they'd believe just about anything. But I'm glad there are people like signals and others around that have working BS detectors.
edit on 18-2-2012 by Arbitrageur because: fix typo

Isn't is possible that the dead tissue was harbouring some sort of infection that caused the heart attack? I know a while back i read an article about bacteria on an atomic scale or something of the sort.

Well no, you're wrong - I've taken on board what was said, even though I didn't watch the vid, I read the posts, yours included -
I am now aware of the situation whether I like it or not - I am no longer ignorant of this topic -

I was merely stating, in my way, my horror and 'wished' I hadn't read about it -

I don't know, the clicking on the link is not a part of scare techniques, a little more connected to gaining health back. Food is important too, and those foods heavily made our staples that change our DNA.

articles.mercola.com...

What we can do to take responsibility and try to make a difference, for ourselves and families, is important IMO.

In my opinion, cancer could be caused by poor diet, lack of exercise, processed foods, fluoridated water, refined sugar, and too much sun/ultraviolet radiation. (Get your vitamin D from supplements instead.)

When the doctor embedded diseased tissue, the bacteria on that tissue infected the rabbits. What is so hard to believe about that?

I think this is quite likely. IMO the cancer researchers who for decades have focused on the 'cancer bacteria' (pleomorphic bacteria) are absolutely on the right track. The theory is that all people carry pre- cancer bacteria and when the terrain changes unfavorably in the human body these opportunistic bacteria can become lethal.

It is no wonder IMo that cancer researchers too like Hulda Clark who wrote the book "The Cure for all Cancers" advocated the importance of having root canals removed as they were perfect breeding grounds for these bacteria to multiply and change and become extremely toxic. Though researchers like Clark were attacked by the money interests and the entrenched interests that make their livelihood selling highly lucrative defective and dangerous and ineffective 'treatments' like radiation and chemo and defend this barbaric practice to the end, I believe in the end as more cancers and other toxic health conditions are being found to have a microbial link, they will eventually win out.

Oral surgeons have told me that 9 out of 10 root canaled teeth end up having to be pulled. My mother was "told" to get a root canal a few years ago,i told her not to,i told her its probably still going to need to get pulled, she got a root canal anyways, her dentist got around 500 dollars from the deal and two months later she had to get it pulled, another 200 dollars for the dentist...And Her Dental Insurance Would Not Pay For All Of The Root Canal...Wow,what a money scam...

You need the sun, supplements are ok but most are radiated and chemical substitutes even the organic ones in health stores.

Sun Sun Sun is needed always.

The studies done in the world and in BC, showed the opposite of what they thought. They thought oudoor workers would have higher rates, but instead they had the least rates of cancer.

Diet, is pat of it. Radiation is a big factor as well.

And lack of real vitamins and iodine.

There are enormous factors, all tied together in tptb cohesive corruption of everything they get their hands on.

Ah, thank you for sharing that, I'm surprised the outdoor workers had a smaller percentage of cancer rates.

Sun aside, I do believe something we're eating/drinking is causing cancer. The other stuff I listed were thought to be cancer causing agents, so I just avoid them, or only eat them in very small amounts. (processed foods/refined sugar)

I've really taken to reading labels on food lately, you'd be surprised at the amount of suspected cancer causing agents in everyday foods and preservatives.
