I don't.

I think we should bomb them back to the stone age!!

Why? As in, for what reason?

Rather, what would be the logical reason or moral justification for us to do that?

"...just 'cuz?"

I dont love the Iranian leaders.
Nore do I love the Zionist leaders of Israel, Nore do i love the leaders of the USA .

I love and respect my fellow humans but i will never respect our leaders.

What he said.

I also like Iran for their reluctance to bow to the Zionists unlike the good ol' U.S. of A (Israels lapdog to the rest of the world),

I think love is far too strong a word. I've played text based rpg war games such as starkingdoms for over a decade. What really captures my attention regarding Iran are the tactics. They are so similar to playing this type of game. Sure you don't have a chance in hell of winning but let's get out there and entice the enemy. Let's see if we can make him do something. How about today we twist his words up and release ridiculous statements? Oh we already did that... hey look over here I hacked your stealth spy plane. So what if we can't beat up Israel we will blow up something in this strait, we can totally do it! It's just total insanity and unpredictable. I don't believe that they believe anything they are saying it's just for the lols. They are the nation of trolls, and I do love that. The rest of Iran I don't know a damn thing about and I'm sure as hell not moving there, ever. Their propaganda really is top notch though, much respect on that front.

All you've done is list a bunch of "So? ...been done before" ...kinda grasping at straws. A parent might caution a prepubescent, rebellious, headstrong child with a stereotypical "If Johnny jumps off the ol' bridge downtown, would you do it too." Some people need to be reminded that wisdom once in a while, it seems.

At any rate, the guy you quoted didn't even bring up the good stuff, like suppressing democratic movements and killing, allowing to be killed, training others to kill and otherwise making dead the leaders of those democratic movements in every nation south of our border on this hemisphere, from Haiti to the Dominican Republic to Brazil to Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Cuba, Colombia and more. That's without even leaving the hemisphere.

As far as the straight of Hormuz is concerned, let them close it and let's get this "alternative energy" revolution under way. As it stands, there is no "painless" transfer from oil dependency through peak oil into no oil whatsoever, so what does it matter if Iran closing the Straight of Hormuz is the tipping point, or some other not-so-far-off world-class event. The oil's gonna stop sooner or later..and, if that's where we're going with this, I'll revert to an earlier analogy I used to try and explain the Iraq war some 10 years ago...

If your neighbor has something you want and he won't give it to you, and you go and slaughter his family and take over his home and finally get your hands on that thing you wanted, we tend to arrest you and sentence you for premeditated murder.

If we as a whole nation do it, it's called "Spreading Democracy".

Under the nuclear proliferation treaty Iran is forbidden of developing a nuclear weapon and since they are working towards just that, NATO must stop them.

So stop saying " The People" the people havent been able to oust the regime. So the country they piss off the most or threaten the most , WILL oust him. Get over the people , we arent there to kill the people for the fun of it.

I have "faith" in humanity is an absolutely dumb statement. If you have "faith" in humanity , you missed about 6000 years of history. You have "faith" in your loved ones and hopefully your leaders to ensure you way of life. Having "faith" in humanity gets your country killed. Go back to school and learn a little history.

This also shows why you arent in government or politics because you arent a leader and arent capable to make hard decisions.

The people can address their country. If by another country "ousting" them I suppose you mean conquest. I as an American and like most of MY PEOPLE don't want to go to war over BS excuses of threats and fear mongering. Bush kind of killed that one, its more used and wasted than a crack whore you might call toothless molly from behind 7-11, It is almost like saying we need to fight now just because some dumbass somewhere thinks it would be a good idea. The majority can decide for themselves. Has worked for 2 million years and we are still here, better than ever because of it. The alpha male mentality of the primitive men that precede us will eventually be as archaic as the notion of a flat earth.

and no we aren't there to kill people for the fun of it. Some people are sending my people there in my name and for my supposed safety so as to line the pockets of a few profiteers. Others that go or are sent, they go to make it happen, and justify their patriotism that costs the lives of even 1 of their own in the name of conquest.

The hard decisions are not the ones that think towards throwing the biggest rock the farthest or raise the biggest stick over his head in anger.......animals do that. No, man has an ever evolving ability to reason and learn. It's a slow process but is unarguably more developed and enhanced with every passing generation. Sooner or later we will get it right. Thankfully most people are not so hopeless with their species. That is just weird.

It's like seeing a wolf kill his entire pack and then trying to cuddle with their cadavers. You have no faith, what are you doing in my world then? Try harder.

My way of life? We are poorer and more tired every passing day thanks to the obsession our leaders have with power and wealth. It's like they are planning on building a city of gold the size of Texas. We don't need all this empire crap. The average American 60 years ago had a better quality of life and civil liberty than now. We have regressed as a people to a sorry state of self justification and self preservation above the interests of the people they supposedly serve. We see no benefit from this way of life you speak of. The human will is one of perseverance and overcoming. We have done great things. We will continue to surprise ourselves.

the faith in humanity we speak of is what sets us apart from monkeys in the woods. We argue in ever increasing numbers for reason and logic. That is never bad for a people. You can thank any real progress to that. Not that macho "I will do what I can do" crap. You should look into yourself instead of filling your thoughts with external mirrors and smoke to make it seem like you are somehow justified or necessary.

I am not in government or politics, I never would be. I just speak my mind. We all do, sometimes people agree and we listen to each other. Sooner or later it becomes the will of the people as formal as it needs to come and as present and apparent as the identity of the people. We want things to change. This is all entirely dangerous and so unacceptable. Rework it and take into account the current perspective of humanity as is. What was true of us all even 300 years ago falls short of our now perceived potential.

It is archaic and backwards now. Adapt or go the way of the dinosaurs. World conquest is as silly as superman or Santa. It's impossible indefinitely. It's pointless once this is realized. The next step down from the collective trees will not be for bananas. It won't be for sticks or rocks to throw at us. It will be to walk upright upon this world move on.

Monkeys lived in trees for safety, they were scared and feared a great many things. Man in his continuing efforts off that tree has led him to be more secure in his ability to survive and bend his world to fit his needs.
We can arguably live with what we have and actually prosper and be titans. We are falling short of our potential when we dedicate our purpose as a people to dominating another.

Monkey or man......take the next step. Move on.

So all of the official reports I am hearing about, you know ones that top officials tell the MSM to tell us about Iran makes me sick to my stomach everyday

Iran wants Israel wiped off the map.
Iran leader visits Latin American communist countries
Iran creates suicide bombers
Iran set to announce new nuclear advancements
Iran creates stealth flying boat...
Iran sends Obama model toy drone
Iran will not stop nuclear program
US is ready with lethal weapons if Iran attacks (YES ATS this is a good thing! Do you not want to be protected?)

To me, it seems that this poorly put together administration has done everything in it's power to not go to war with Iran and Iran is not showing any signs of stopping their threats against the west. So why do people on ATS which the government (for now) allows to operate, love Iran so much?

Again, we have pretty much bowed to everything so we are not in WWIII already. Trust me, if a republican like Reagan or Bush was in office we'd be in war right now. I don't understand why you people are complaining about the US sanctions, and we should just leave Iran alone, when they are the ones threatening us!

Please explain this to me slowly, because apparently I am just a paid shill from the republican party and I also am a war monger.

You know that pointing out all the ways you are wrong is not "supporting" Iran. We interfered with Iran and put a brutal dictator in charge there - the Shah. Eventually the people were so downtrodden by that guy that they decided to revolt and install a government that we had no way of controlling.

We made Iran, and now we have to live with it. It's ironic but true.

Man, the world you are describing sounds great, wish it was a s easy as that.

Sadly, thats not the real world.

Before the Iraq war, Americans staged the biggest anti-war protest ever, it fell on deaf ears.

This Iran blood-fest will be the same.

Nope it is not wrong to question a source. I also linked a a court case against Iran that has supplied more than enough information to say Iran has taken part and "Attacked" the United States of America. The only reason Osama was capable of producing his plan was because of Iran supporting him whole heartedly.

That is an act of War. America already has a valid excuse to attack Iran for its part in 9/11. If 2500 United States citizens were enough to go to war in WWII , why is 3000 US civilians not enough to go to war?

The court has just ruled against Iran on the basis of overwhelming evidence (in my opinion). You have defectors who had 1st hand accounts in the operation ... you cant ask for much more.

So it is not far-fetched for me to believe news sources that Iran's radical clerics ,a group wanting Armageddon to come, to state to the country is time to destroy Israel.

Take a look at this video.

These agitators for war with Iran always show their stripes right away. "Oooh they're threatening poor Israel!"

Most of the rest of the world, with the exception of the newspaper publishers and the TV networks, do not give one crap about Israel. If Israel wants to take on Iran, I say, go for it. Alone.

You're dementing history. Iran had absolutely nothing at all to do with 9/11. Nothing whatsoever.

Cheney and Dov Zakheim aka MEGA and a few others did 9/11. It was all laid out by the neocons in their Project for a New American Century book Rebuilding America's Defenses, in which they call for a new Pearl Harbor. Donald Rumsfeld was caught on tape in 2006 suggesting that they needed another good terror attack to get America back on track.

And, of course Iran has plenty of reasons to be angry at the USA. We have been supporting Israel, who has been committing terrorism inside Iran for years. We have been spying on them and violating their airspace.

You'd be surprised at how friendly Iran would be if we dropped Israel and stopped being such dicks to them, but that would take a changing of the guard at the State Department. All the old, scaly lizards who infest State would have to go, and all the dual-citizen third columnists with them.

If you would use your head. If you are able to attack America first , then we have failed to DEFEND America.

You attack , kill a couple thousand people , that is not defending America.

You do your best to make sure that doesnt happen.

Use your head.

What the hell? I guess you missed the part of 7 years worth of accumulated evidence? Wow , you are ignorant. The stupidity of some people.

They have ruled in a court of law - which makes them liable to damages.

duh........duh duh duh..........who is next.....when does that excuse stop.

Are you really that desperate for material.....

I see that becoming like the Hitler card. Stale excuse used for 20-30 years for ignorance insurance.

NO THEY DIDNT......Fabricated stories with headlines don't constitute news. We are not that retarded.

Sir , you can't hire a bunch of people to kill other people and not expect to die along with ones you hired ... they just do not have a flag.

I guess it is okay for me to hire some one to murder another person and not expect repercussions. Right?

----------

You have now passed the point of argument into denial and illogical ruling. You now refuse to believe evidence. Presented in a court of law and ruled upon.
