We are effectively still part of the commonwealth, but nobody has ever invaded, nobody has ever attacked us.

Sure, the Moriori were here first, then came the maori who wiped them out, then came the colonial brits, who settled and effected a treaty for people to live in peace here. We have never had to fight for our freedom, because we promote it, instead of denying freedoms to our own people.


p.s, your idea of freedom is wholly different to mine.

Come down here sometime and see what real freedom is like, no full body scanners in airports, no being told to move along by police for just standing with your friends in a public place, no gun toting rednecks who feel the need to carry a gun everywhere they go. No war monger leaders who brainwash the public into supporting illegal wars. No going to a bar and getting shot over a disagreement with a drunk kid. No police shooting people who don't deserve to die.

And the right to bear arms, our 2nd amendment, is the best amendment we have next to the first. It guarantees that the United States of America is a country that can never be annexed by a foreign nation, because nobody would dare invade and occupy a country where at any given second a population of 309,000,000+ citizens turn into an armed militia.

it doesnt cost much to build a small and very fast boat
with the tech they have today .. im sure these boats are suicide bomb drones

Jericho. Showed that the US government killed it's own citizens and then destroyed Iran and North Korea after they made them the scapegoat. Is that a good enough example? If not, I will see if I can find another. That was the first one that came to mind.

I understand this, I am in agreement with you there that our rights are being raped, but regardless of what laws they pass, they arent rounding you up and executing you over opposing the government. You could have no rights whatsoever and live somewhere, like Iran, where any kind of opposition to the government is punishable by death, and you wouldnt even think about trying to change legislation in the country without having one, a lot of money, or influence. There you cant live any life that isnt the life the government wants for you. Here you can live whatever life you want regardless of what the government thinks about it.
