AP: Whitney Houston Dead

I understand that Navy Seals will be extracting her body from the hotel, via a special, secret, helicopter after a covert rope insertion from the roof.

Her body will then be flown to an "undisclosed" location, but most likely, dumped at sea.

HIPAA laws probably prevent a lot of info from coming out until the family releases it.

I am not an HR person, so I don't know... Does anyone else know?

The Beverly Hills Police Department confirms her death.

"I can confirm that Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. We received a call at 3:43 p.m. from hotel security and Beverly Hills Fire and police responded minutes later," Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Mark Rosen tells PEOPLE. "It's unclear who notified hotel staff because she has quite an entourage here at the hotel. We attempted to resuscitate her, to no avail."

That piece of news from ABC is from last September...not from today...she died today...at home. The cause of her death has not been told as yet.

When I first saw The Bodyguard...her singing literally made my skin crawl it was so hauntingly beautiful.

Sorry! I have no use for people who ruin their lives through drug use. She had all the money and resources available to help her fix this problem

If she actually was a "great person", then she should of had the mental ability to totally get away from those who were bad influences. Heck, with her money, she coulda bought a small island and got away from it all.

That she wasn't the most intelligent person in the world, was obvious by her marriage to that scumbag Bobby Brown, everybody with 5 Brain cells know to avoid that idiot. She let him destroy her and now paid the price. I'm guess one can be glad, that she survived this long, so her daughter isn't a child who probably would suffer the most from this.
