When i heard this was comming out it seemd like this is what would be the outcome, but i thought they would let a few shows build up and get a bunch at the same time....

I am at danger conveying my point that I will alienate someone. I happen to think that general public is going to watch this series and think that Prepping is something only looser militant rambo's Do.

Great show. I really enjoyed it. He seemed pretty down to Earth to me. I bet that wont stop him from buying a gun from someone privately or else he has one stashed somewhere. I think the guy that was roaming around Los Angeles was the one that really needed a gun. Armed with pocket knives and salad dressing.......

It is his 2nd amendment right to own those Guns. Who are you to lay judgment on him? I didn't give ten years of my life to defend these rights, just to see them thrown out by a few liberal commies! You do have the right to say whatever you want to and I respect that, but you make your statement like he should not focus on having GUNS to survive. Who cares if he thinks he needs to stock up on thousands of QTips? It doesn't affect you! If they can take this away from him, just imagine what they can take from you.

Although guns are more efficient to be able to survive with. But guys comon they could be in a much worse situation where they could've had everything taken away and thrown in jail. Guess bows and arrows, and slingshots will have to suffice. They made the mistake of putting it on T.V. Should've known better.

The mistake was telling the brutal truth about the obama and bush regimes.

HE and he alone elected to go on a television program thats screened nationally in the US and availiable on sat / cable / freeview / internet stream in other countries too

did he really believe " this will have no consequences " ? if so his forward planning for an emergency situation is fatally flawed

lastly - he hoists himself by his own betard with his outburst that he has no reason to prep any more and " nothing to live for "

he is supposed to be a survialist - and has admitted deafeat and utterly caputulated just because his firearm collection was cofiscated

The flak preppers gets confuses me like crazy.

During the cold war they prepared people for nuclear war and no one thought twice about someone with a fallout shelter. So if those people would have prepped in the 50's or the 40's did people back then call them looney?

If someone starts prepping for a war 10 or 20 years ahead of time why is that crazy? Why do they want people to think that was crazy?

After seeing this, my girlfriend and I have decided not to prep for anything, and figure we do not need any trouble from anyone in the near or far future. We have decided to trust in our government, and know that we will be all right in the end.................

All 'preppers' who agree to expose themselves on national TV are fools and deserve any and all consequences of their foolishness.

I had a bad feeling about this show the minute that I heard about it. It's unbelievable that they actually did some recruiting for this show right here on ATS! If you are a prepper rule number 1 is to keep your preperations between you and the people that depend on them.
I do feel bad for this guy, he had some great information, and by no means did he in any way seem mentally defective. I just hope that this isn't the start of something bigger. Right after they classified anyone stocking more than 7 days of food as a potential terrorist, and then they go recruiting for a show where any prepper in their right mind will have a minimum 30day food supply on hand, just spells bad things to me.

I wonder if he can still own Flamethrowers, Bear Traps, Crossbows, Slingshots and Swords?
