I would bet an investigation of the doctor by a qualified PI would find multiple cases of 'things' to pull his license. The accused however is poor and can't afford an attorney.

The very nature of his actions as well as his strong Christian faith are rock solid evidence of a set up.

I kinda ...sorta.. feel bad for the guy. He did choose to go on a show he knew was set up to frame him as an extremist for the audience and he ran with it for all it was worth. He did it while we're living in one of the most hostile periods of my lifetime for people who think and act as he does.

It's really hard to keep that feel bad thing going..... He more than kinda asked for it, when one thinks about it. I even recall a couple ATS people predicting something like this when the show first came up here as a topic.

This is ludicrous, the government has lost all credibility and should have an enema. This guy wasn't hurting anyone or himself.

Anyone interested can donate for his case to the NRA attorney handling it.

Wow, that is just sickening. I really enjoyed watching him and the set up he had going. I feel bad for him as well. Furthermore, that show is obviously trying to make these people look crazy. He was set up in order for the show to get some more publicity and an increase in viewers would be my guess.

I feel bad for the guy, he didn't seem to be hurting anyone.

If anything, it was his time and effort he was devoting, the government had no right to deprive him of that, in my opinion.

This reminds me of the scene in "Contagion" when Jude Law's conspiracy minded character is set up and arrested.
You just don't know anymore when your free speech rights end, do you?

I thought that they would try to portray people who prep as a few cents short of a full dollar.

There are many people who have been quietly prepping. They would never go on that show.

They would never, never bring attention to themselves.

My heart goes out to this poor man. Shows like this, though entertaining, wave a big red flag to the bully government.

I hope the NRA can help him get his guns back.

While i agree that a gun might be "helpful"....i don't think it's the most important thing to have...or is this all you preppers are about, GUNS? Laughable...

What is laughable is how you assume that preppers are all about guns. And if you do not think having one is a good idea to protect your family during a crisis, you are nuts.

Actually, now that he's told the world what he has, where he is and how it's all set up, he has no choice but to stop without guns. If he ever faced a world where he NEEDED any of that, half the countryside around him will be taking it with THEIR guns while his unarmed butt stands by and watches it go out the door.

Being on the show was a bad bad idea. Playing right into the extremist and nutty stereotype was the final touch. He might as well liquidate or use what he has in daily life now. He'll never defend it now.

If he cant defend what he has worked to build when the time comes to do so.........

He isn't like everyone else. He has morbid obesity and nothing is going to cure it besides gastric bypass. He needs to be able to defend himself a whole lot more than most folks.

When your running for your life, because you have no gun, or are robbed of all your gear because you have no gun.....we'll see whats laughable...especially if a guy with a gun rescues yer butt because you didnt think a gun was very important to have in the first place.

Make no mistake, the lil gangsters out there that dont know how to live off the land will be beating down yer door for free sh*t...and they dont mind shooting you to take it. a gun is a tool, not an evil device made by bible thumping paranoid republicans to annoy democrat gay hippies that sing all you need is love around a camp fire.

Guns can be used for lots of things considered essential for survival.
