Sure. Right. Paul is the one good guy who just never mentions the fact his party is corrupt. That makes sense. HE stands for truth, as long as it's not about how his party is rigging elections. No, you're right, that makes sense.

It would be political suicide for Ron Paul to come across as a conspiracy theorist type, might as well have Alex Jones run for president. I figured this was obvious, but I guess some people don't consider that before they post. Yes, he is running as a republican; Yes, he doesn't say anything about corruption (often), in order to have a shot he has to do these things. Regardless, it's his right what he wants to talk about or not anyways and I would say hes talked about some fairly important issues on his own. Ron Paul supporter or not, nobody can tell this man how to run his candidacy, let him handle it.

Try not to get so wrapped up in things that aren't really that important, there are real problems to fix that will get worse in the future if they are not addressed.

Off Topic: Is there a Ron Paul thread that Outkast Searcher has NOT shown up in? I don't think I've seen one.

Alright, PM me when you prove it wrong.

Everyone know's your an Obama supporter and absolutely terrified of Ron Paul because he could stomp Obamly in an election.

What? Are you kidding me? There's genuine Obama supporters on ATS? ROFL!

Doesn't that kind of defeat the entire purpose of being a member of the website?

It's just sounds so odd to me.

Have your brother take his EXACT recollection of these events...

...and contact The Drudge Report. If he's willing to verify the info, it would NOT surprise me if Drudge ran the story...

Not a big surprise really.

I suggest you all send this to the MSM outlets and to the official Paul campaign.

The GOP is in fact CORRUPT to the core.

How anyone can support them, or vote any of them into office is truly sad. The interests of the SUPER wealthy of the world are the only ones who they have in mind. Everything else that they claim are only BIG FAT LIES to get your vote. Their ACTIONS REVEAL their interests TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

Wake the HELL up CONservatives. These bums are NOT for you and I unless you are part of the SUPER wealthy clan.

And even if you are in that super wealthy clan, how can you sleep at night favoring a party of devils who steal from the hardest working middle-class Americans just to fill your already FAT POCKETS with more cash. The greed and lack of conscience of some is OVERWHELMING to say the least.

The Dems are just as corrupt.

Great scoop, eLPresidente. This is sickening. I'm not a Paul supporter -- there is no way TPTB will allow Ron Paul into power. BOTH parties are corrupt to the core. I really do not have any hope for the US. It's headed for the cliff -- as predicted.

Following the 2012 election I will never vote Republican again. The GOP should be celebrating a candidate like Ron Paul for making their party relevant. My whole life I had been either an Democrat or Independent voter. I was in that party because I believed in constitutional rights of people, above all other issues. However, the democrats turned out to care more about groups of people then actual people. When Ron Paul came around I switched parties, because this guy really wants to return the rights to the people.

After this election cycle, screw the Republican Party.

Ha, you need to wake the HELL up. The Democrats are every bit as corrupt and every bit as much for the wealthy. Just THEIR wealthy vs. the other sides wealthy. Neither party is for you. You are foolish to think otherwise. Ron Paul supporters are the ones who realize the absurdity of the false left/right paradigm. Ron Paul is the only candidate who speaks the truth and is for the people. Wake up!

are you kidding me?

he calls them out on their hypocrisy time and time again! Why do you think he is trying to run in a race where he knows he cant win because of the corruption?

so he can reform the republican party and so he can inject some common sense in their run-away policies.

If that was true he'd simply run as an independent. Obviously. But it's not true. Paul has been part of that crap party for ever. He can easily leave it if its so awful. and yet.

Not really because if he did run as an indy he wouldn't be able to lay out his ideas on the republican party like he is now.

Are you just pretending to be obtuse?

He has the national stage with the reigning members of the GOP and he is calling them out with every debate. As an Independent he would be invisible.

What Ron Paul and other Republicans need to take away from this GOP insider's whistleblowing -- is that the Republicans have set up a MACHINE -- a system, whereby they rig elections on a routine basis.

We are learning about this because REPUBLICAN INSIDERS are spilling the beans. However, if Ron Paul were not the victim of the latest pole manipulations -- would we know anything at all?

Check out BlackBoxVoting.org and take note of how many elections appear to have been rigged, and how often Electronic Voting machines contradict exit polls.

While I"m NOT a Ron Paul supporter -- I have to agree with MsAphrodite on this one. Like it or hate it -- we have a 2 party system. There is ZERO chance for anyone outside these two parties of getting elected. Ron Paul also has a better chance in the GOP because his competition is so incredibly weak.

The Front Runner, Mitt Romney, for instance, couldn't win an election if only 1 other Republican were competing -- he only wins when the vote is split. There isn't one candidate except for Ron Paul in a few states who can get at least 50% of the votes among Republicans likely to vote.

The closest anyone outside the party system has ever gotten in my Lifetime, is when Ross Perot ran against Clinton and Bush. I voted for him -- and I would have voted for Clinton had I not. But Perot was never going to win election -- and it's gotten even harder for a challenger because Corporate Money and Pacs now flood the system with the money of special interests.

>> Ron Paul took a few REALLY unpopular opinions and spoke his mind. I particularly remember him saying that "Bin Laden should have been taken into custody and tried in a court" -- and that really made me proud of him.

I was really pissed at Obama for NOT taking the opportunity to have a trial, and allow the US to once again act like a civilized nation. Osama was accused, and the reason he needs a trial is NOT for his benefit, but for societies. For the sake of transparency and due process. If Osama can get a fair trial -- so can you, even if it's inconvenient.

I recently learned that the military broke a direct order from the President and decided to kill Bin Laden -- I want to know more about that, as it might change my opinion of Obama.

>> Like him or hate him -- at least Ron Paul steers the Republican debates occasionally from who thumps the bible the loudest or who would build a larger fence on the border with Mexico (which NONE of them will do in office as it would hurt business).

He is going to win the delegates. This is exactly how Obama beat the Clinton Machine! It is perfectly fine with me too. This is how the game is played. When he does debate the President, he will tear him apart. Nobody to date has been able to beat Ron Paul head to head in a debate. What a glorious day that will be!

SPOT ON!!
Started a thread about this a couple of times, went nowhere...people cant see that its tha effin mafia that makes voting machines in the same factory they produce slot machines!
They flog them to state and federal goverment with very little gurantees and no oversight....
Several voting machine companies are ownwed by one N Jersey dirm....through shell corps....
The voting machines that caused a scandal in one southern state, and were ordered destroyed, may have been the very florida voting machines that turned the election for GW Bush....
One candidate went to the voting machine warehouse to verify the machnes after an election she lost....and the machines would only record a vote for her one out of three votes.....the opponents name came up the other times the button was pushed for her name....true stuff peeple!
