I know a lot of authentic Christians. However . . . sometimes one wonders. Proabably the average in most churches is 10-20% are more authentic and walking the walk. 10-20% are mostly NOT and the rest range in between.

What is this :

Everyone will readily agree that individual muslims can exhibit many good and valuable characteristics. This is true of every population. People are basically good.

What is the problem is that Islam presents itself as something that it is not. No other faith cloaks itself in the garb of a god not its own. Islam parades their deity, Allah, in the garb of God. Much evil is committed through this deception.

Then there is the whole Jihad aspect of Islamic culture. No other faith has as its prime motivation the propagation of their culture through the mechanic we label "Jihad". None. It is completely novel, completely unexpected, and completely evil. Jihad allows the muslim to lie and deceive and to maime and to kill "in the name of God". I often think that churches have done more damage to authentic Christianity than all the witches, satan worship wiccans combined.

However, the Copts in this OP tend to worship in groups and the culture is very group oriented. And they need the strength and support of the group to face the attacks of the Muslims.

Alas, in this case, even the whole group was overwhelmed by the thousands of Muslims on all sides.
