So a poster says something you dont agree with and your first response is to ridicule. There are threads about ridiculous things like someone tweeting something homophobic during the superbowl, i think they are a waste of time, and guess what, I ignore those threads. Meanwhile I see the same posters saying multiple posts to a thread they think is crazy. Bored much?

I actually enjoyed the post, and I gave a S & F...so sue me already. Some of it rang true, and other parts, I'm not so sure about. I do believe we're going to get nuked, but that's just my personal paranoia, and other than the constant sabre rattling and the proliferation of nuclear weapons all around the planet, I have nothing to back that up.

I am a little surprised at all the negative posts from other members. For some reason, it reminds me of a story my son-in-law told me about his tour of duty in Iraq. The soldiers (all young, and of course immature), in their boredom, made up a game in which they sat around in a circle of chairs in their underwear and chucked rocks at each others crotches. The first one who flinched was "out".

What have I learned from this? Don't flinch when the rocks are thrown.

Stand your ground, OP. It would be nice if you had some sources to cite concerning your statements, but if you don't have them, it's cool. I still enjoyed your post.

To me, personally it all kinda makes sense what he's saying. And why bother ask for proof, when you all know that for some of these things you will never get a solid piece of proof. And then again, you have to ask yourselves, what really is PROOF? I really am not sure what it is. Maybe it has a different meaning for each and every one of us.

Yes yes it is.But part of my mental masturbation is calling out those who are obvious fakes/trolls/liars. If this guy is just certifiable, then I feel for him and hope he gets help. But if he knows what he is doing, then I will keep on calling him out as long as I remain bored for that hour.

Regarding your first and second posts, your writings were really interesting and thought provoking.

I don't necessarily believe in everything you stated but you definitely mentioned some interesting things that made a good read.

That said, the trend seems to be ridicule and mockery in this thread (and all threads it seems...), so I know this post won't be getting any stars or anything, but I just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed reading your posts. And thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
