But i dont see how that could be heard in Europe.

Last week i heard it at a different time in the first video. I seem to be in the same timezone as that video was made but about 500 to 1,000 miles away AND the funny part about this is it was not nearly as loud and was in the distance. So far a few random videos i have watched are what i heard and that first video is the best yet.

Edit: Wanted to add that i have not heard anything since that night but maybe i slept through it.

If it was really something out in space and natural I would think we would ALL know about it and nothing bad has happened since then so I am not worried. I think, what i heard was man made.

I cannot say whether the KISS FM video is a hoax or not. Sadly, with all the hoax videos out there you can't help but look at all of these videos with a healthy dose of skepticism. However, if these sounds are real they are very mechanical sounding.

I personally am of the belief that some sort of cloaked ships have positioned themselves in the skies above our planet. The real question, for me at least, is exactly what are their intentions?

I heard these same, exact sounds myself and I have no doubt that the video is for real. Follow your heart and intuition.

This I can guarantee, if there were ten people standing together that heard the same sounds, and even videoed the event you'd find a number in this group who: 1.) Heard the sounds and were very aware of them, and maybe wanted to know what was making them. 2.) Heard the sounds and said, "So what?" 3.) Heard the sounds and accused us of all being high. 4.) Heard the sounds and then later denied they heard them, and maybe accused one of us of adding them to the video. 5.) Heard the sounds and wondered if they were a sign from God.

We're all born with excellent bull# detectors. From our infancy our parents and well meaning individuals set about in deprogramming the B.S. detectors so that they don't work, all in our/their best interest. The facts are: YOU know what's true and what's not. What do YOU think they are!

Exactly, for what purpose?

What reason would an Alien civilization come to this planet to do any more than observe?

With ALL the planets out there and considering the incredible number recently found just beyond our solar sytem and even ones very much like here on Earth, some would say duplicate, and even much larger (one is four times the mass of Earth) why would Aliens bother us.

Now considering the distances they need to travel whatever it is they could possibly want here can be found on other planets. To be honest, we just dont have the capacity to have any effect on the solar system so if we really mess things up here it is pretty much logical that it would not effect any other planetary bodies or systems.

Please stop speculating about this and get into Zetatalk for a credible explanation. It's the sound of snapping and expanding rock in the techtonic plates and a strange and weird hum occurs when there is water nearby.

I have been a long term lurker and have been following these sound threads with great interest but still remain skeptical for the following reasons;
1 - I would say almost 90% of the videos on youtube claiming to be sky sounds all feature the same pattern which to me suggests they have been copied.
2 - The descriptions of the sound to me describe a Mosquito Alarm, very common here in the UK especially outside fast food restaurants and shops. Its designed to deter children under the age of 18 from hanging about. Though people can hear this very high frequency into there late 20's. The Mosquito
3 - This phenomenon still seems very specific to the Americas. I know there have been reports this side of the pond but less frequent and certainly wasn't deemed newsworthy.
4 - Im in no way disrespecting those who have heard it but it does seem from reading the threads here that there's alot of people desperate to hear them and then later that day claim to have heard them. Im sure veryone is aware of the placebo effect, give someone a sugar pill tell them they will be feeling 100% within a few mins and guess what the patient says they feel great. Well same can be applied to the sounds, will enough to hear them and you will. This in my opinion is the real phenomenon.
I do really wish to believe that there really is a sound out there but I have yet to be convinced, trust me Im very open to this and would like someone to prove to me that they are real with strong scientific evidence. The real problem for me is all the different Im convinced is this type of threads, I cant find it at the moment but there was a thread were someone claimed it was voices and then made an edit of it slowed it down etc etc, well anyone with a half decent DAW can make sounds that when manipulated can sound like demonic voices. I mean come on guys you got to do better than that!

Now what could be the cause? Here's a few thoughts, most already suggested on the Internet.
a) venting gas/ atmosphere from vast underground complexes.
b) setting up the masses for a black flag 'alien invasion' (see other thread here on ATS)
c) the horns of the angels indicating the end of the world is upon us
d) lots of individuals taking part in roughly coordinated hoax
e) diversion by governments and/or the worlds elites to divert the masses from the economic peril they face (i.e. the real threat)

I've read all kinds of possible explanations over the last few months. One of the wackiest -- but also most impressive -- was from a poster on the GLP forum who claims that scientists have mastered time travel, but that by trying to get those back who they sent through time, they've accidentally created some kind of "time warp" or bubble, which is now intruding on our reality. He phrased it, "But as they brought the people back, they brought something back with them."

He said that some of the loud sounds are the very fabric of space-time groaning because something is pressing on it from the outside, and that the "trumpet sounds" are the roars of actual dinosaurs... because what happens is that many timelines from the past and future are now merging with ours. In other words, we'll soon see T-Rexes, giants and other weird creatures wander the lands. As I said, pretty wacky, but intriguing.

I remember hearing about these sounds for a while now. For at least 20 years or more it has been going on . It is nothing new but it seems to be happening more often and in a lot more places. Quite interesting I thought. I wonder if anyone has asked tribesman's across the world for their explanation on current sounds. Some of the old legends seem quite relevant.

Does this mean that this hum has always been present and throughout the age of humans many different theory's have been proposed with each as whacky as the one before therefore something we are never going to understand.

I've heard all kinds of stuff but i wonder if the people who were hearing the real noises ever thought to use infrared camera's or thermal cameras to see if there was something...invisible in the sky?

I understand that 95-99% of the sightings out there are hoaxes, what worries me today is the 1-5% that cant be explained, the sightings that are truly mysteries.... I honestly wonder what this could be

Never heard it in my area, strange that it is heard in certain areas of the world but not everywhere.

The best explanation I have seen is its a magnetic anomaly for the sightings that can't be dismissed as a hoax, im yet to be convinced,could it not be that the genuine reports can be explained by tinnitus?

non this is not that sound, i said jet sound because this the first thing who came in my mind, but the sound come and go mostely hypnotic,coming from the sky, not something impressiv to make people running everywhere but rather subtle and persistent and i 'm not the only one who heard it in europe...I understand the desire to want to find an answer, but your propostion does not fit,whatever this sound is we have two possibilty ignore it or search where it come from.
