Restroom? Ok, completely bloomin' obvious question coming up.
Would you eat your dinner on the toilet?

Wow

Okay. Glad you have such maturity.

But the militant liberal mothers do annoy me.

What is militant or liberal with feeding a hungry baby??

No, and I'm not a little baby sucking on a nipple for food either...

BTW the baby is not eating on the toilet, park bench, bus stop, grocery store, walking down the street or any place else either... they are being held up to a dispenser for crying out loud, so what really has to be sanitary about that?

And I suppose you never took your baby anywhere within walking distance of the home either? Take your crying kid home? Seriously? Personally I've never let any of my children wail for the want of attention or food. People can take their sensibilities and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.

As a general rule I find that father's who are uncomfortable with their partners breastfeeding in public are immature and selfish. Some just can't get over the fact this new little being is taking the lions share of what they feel is rightfully theirs, their sexual plaything and woe betide anyone who dares catch a sideways glimpse of a bit of breastfeeding nork in public, tantamount to a guy eyeing them up at a bar.

If my fella ever told me he didn't want me to do it to spare his itty bitty feelings, I'd make HIM sit on a dirty pubic toilet while I breastfed in peace, in a cafe, with a cup of tea, a biscuit and every pensioner on the planet around me saying awwwww how lovely..

It's possible to actually get the knack of breastfeeding without putting anything on show, far less flesh than most folks (including men) walk around with hanging out.

I think being mature is overrated.

And its not the act. Its the whole liberal outrage. I find it perfectly reasonable that they breastfeed in private,so so others. What is so outrageous about that?

I will keep this short....
I've seen more upper butt crack in the the last 5 years than anyone should Every have to See...

Same goes for the site of peoples underwear showing!

What is the big deal about a babby breast feeding???
Would you rather hear a baby crying, or run the risk seeing a baby feeding?

I bottle fed my first two then breast fed my third and I'll tell you why. Because I was a lot older and I got a lot wiser and lazier.

Looking at it from both sides I can now see how foolish people are to choose bottle over breast because they think that's it's right. This has nothing to do with people who try but CAN'T breast feed, though from my own experiences I can see how hundreds might be put off after the first try, and I blame that on bad advice. There's a lot of stupid mid-wives out there and a lot of hospitals with stupid policies (long story).

With bottle feeding you need lots of bottles, steriliser, and formula. You need to make them up every day, make sure you don't run out, don't lose caps or lids, always have spare when you leave the house, always have things at he right temperature. The attachment and control of all that lot is just boring and non-stop.

With breast feeding you pull your top up or down and it's done. NO WORK.

The OP is displaying some anti-female psychosis and shouldn't be listened to. He's extremely warped in his thinking and should seek psychoanalysis for his disease.

I dont want to starve a baby

And Im against crack as much as the next person.

I like it when hot girls wear low cut jeans that are lower than their g-string. And if you have your pants sitting on your boxers it increases the comfort level because only one band of clothing is in contact with your skin. Its way more comfy.

I'm personally more offended by people preaching about their religious views in public than I am by a mother feeding her child. That's not the topic however, and I'll stick to the matter at hand.

I'm of the opinion that it should be allowed, I don't see why not, there's absolutely nothing sexual about it. If people are offended by it, they could very easily hide that particular person from their profile, just as easily as the mother could make their profile private and/or have their photographs viewable by only those she wishes.

So the short of it, I don't see anything wrong with what those mothers are doing, but I also think they should at the very least have their profiles set to friends only. If one of her 'friends' find it offensive, hide the post!

Arguing against it so vehemently just comes off as childish.

It's fine to disagree with it, and everyone has the right to their own POV, but in the case of several in this thread who are against public breastfeeding, their opinion seems to have come from a very immature place.

The fact that we need a thread for this.... is just silly.

I meant like sensationalism. Or as you might say, trolling. But am I trolling if my opinion is offensive? If when I read the story I think "Ha! Suck it you feminazi liberals"
Because thats what I thought. Others would delight in seeing that story too as much as it shocks liberals.

Actually I took my kid all over the place, and he never left my side. You see they have these things called bottles now that amazingly hold the milk so I do not have to have my kid's mother whip out her breast to feed him
It's too bad other women don't feel bad about exposing themselves just because they are too lazy and inconsiderate to feed their kid with a bottle. I got news for you people... it's 2012 and not 1812... We invent things to make life easier so use them...

And if you want to come at me with "but the milk from mom is better for the kid" ... get a breast pump...

So are you saying you are trolling in your own thread??

I still don't see why it is "feminazi" or "liberal" when it is as old as human life itself...

You find women who can feed, nourish, and bond with their babies to be disgusting?

How disturbing.
