Thanks, you just proved my point!!!

Anyone with any sense can see that he is citing previous examples....

Previous examples of law enforcement finding a way to handle the occasional large crowds, brought out because of specific and far-flung and isolated events.

And.....to imply that someone (anyone) could be a "Gubmint Agent" here on ATS, and actually be able to act to "cover up" the so-called "truth", as you suggested?? How hilarious!

Oh, and AtG isn't even in the USA! Too often it is an American arrogance to forget that there is a big World there, outside the borders of the U.S. With a lot of citizens of other countries who really couldn't care a fig for America, when it comes down to it. Harsh, but true.

Rediculous? It is a stated aim and it is now common knowledge that there are folks intentionally combating "conspiracy theorists". BTW it doesn't matter where someone is from. The internet as you said is worldwide. So are TPTB interests.

Do you know AtG? Do you call him at home? (Ace Ventura)

Sorry if the love-fest with Alex Jones showed that he is a two-timing liar and fraud.

Truth hurts, eh?

Actually I don't follow Alex, but I do not deny what is there for everyone to see. Even a broken clock is correct two times a day.

So, yeah. No hurt here. Just a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I run across people like you.

And now I'm done with you. Good day.

Sorry to spoil the "fun", but that's just AJ being his typical fear-mongering con-artist self.

Even while his ignorance shows clearly (about mid-way, the "story" about "Pier 57" has the tagline title "Marshall Plan...er, Law" captioned at the bottom. He and his staff look like uneducated buffoons.

He assembled a barrage of various local TV News clips, taken out of context, and concocts this fantasy claim, yet again.

Heck one of the clips even had the female reporter on location talking about the "Y2K" revelers!!! How hilarious!! A clip from 1999 being used to "scare" people.

Humorous, but pathetic at the same time.......because people buy into his hogwash.

AJ has an Agenda,I will give you that.

Yes,people are gullible also. Will definitely agree with that.

But can you say,100% with out any doubt, that this is a complete hoax?

I only ask because you have been honest with your assessments.

With NDAA,Patriot Act,numerous other outrageous over the top Acts, implemented in the name of the "protection" of America,I find it very plausible, that something like this has been "worked on" in the back rooms of a 3 letter agency.

Buying into it is one thing. Being prepared for anything is another.

I am of the same mindset... The "camps" people have talked about in the south are actually Immigration and Customs detention facilities and are used to expedite the return of caught illegal immigrants. Its cheaper and safer than having them transshipped to the KC facility only to process them and ship them back to the border.

As far as the LAX thing goes, we have heard for the longest time about the airport in Denver Colorado, and of all the stories ive heard the Denver airport is about the only place that raises any eyebrows.

As far as Alex Jones go, he would be more believable if he didnt cry wolf so many times.

A serious question for all -
Do you honestly beleive that if some moron tries to pull a coup / martial law that it would actually work? To believe that would be to beleive that every single person employed at the Federal, State and local governents, along with every single member of the Federal and State military units, in addition to every single person invovled in law enforcement at the local state and federal level, would go along without asking questions and blindly following orders.

To make matters more complicated do you actually beleive that the people in this country would just roll over and allow it to happen?

All we have to do is look at the occupy protests and you will see people arent afraid of the government / local state police.

To believe a operation of that magnitude would be able to just pacify the people of this country with no effort is a slap in the face to every single man woman and child. It assumes they will blindly do as they are told and last time I checked, us Americans are stubborn when it comes to doing what we are told.

Distrust of the government can be a healthy thing, but when that distrust becomes a debilitating problem with people living in a forest of mirrors, the government doesnt become the main concern, and we become our own worast enemies.

Get involved in government - at all levels. Particiapate and get informed of whats going on.

Alex Jones again as a legitimate news source? I'll admit I think much of his material is entertaining at the very least. However, he does tend to pour on the controversy and fear-mongering as some have pointed out. I would like to see other sources on this, because making a rendition site at a civilian airport would be all over mainstream news. There are plenty of incidents of other more legitimate news sources asleep at the wheel on a wide range of subjects. We discuss it here on ATS all the time. A beetle farts and Alex is on the internet and airwaves announcing the declaration of martial law, dictatorship, tyranny, inside jobs, ect. He has been wrong on so many things. Yet, amazingly he can concoct things to meet his agenda out of thin air?

Now I am not denying that there is some disturbing trends going on at the moment involving the Federal Government and terrible bills being passed or kicked around congress. Examples would include the NDAA, PIPA, or SOPA bills, the Patriot Act, TARP, record deficit spending, and the appearance of what may be rampant corruption. Should people be aware of the trends, and ever vigilant about the tomfoolery being done supposedly in their name by our elected officials? Of course they should be!

However, that does not mean running through streets banging on pots and pans, howling at the moon, and screaming that the sky is falling either. I let Alex do that. This is a conspiracy site, and therefore AJ is as welcome here as any conspiracy theorist. Still, people ought take what he says with a grain of salt, look into these matters on their own, and at the very least find a few more reliable sources. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Fair enough... Please, someone, post pictures of the LAX area in question. Please identify the source of the information. Please post the sources background and how they came to know, photo and escape the places in question. Someone please call the government out on whats being suggested.

Ask if the City and State knows the federal government is keeping secret concentration camps within their jurisdiction secret from the local and state governments and if not, ask them if they are actively participating with the federal government on their creation, placements and what the game plan is behind them.

I always find it interesting people are willing to scream rendition / concentration / FEMA camp while posting vague, if no photos at all that dont support the accusation aside from the picture looking weird.

Alex Jones would be more credible if he didnt cry wolf so many times, or try to claim something he said a year or so ago as his prophecy when something even remotely close occurs.

Whats even funnier is the link in the op talking about sports arena's. You do know where that came from right? There is a law in Florida that has been on the books since like the 1970's that requires sports arenas to be used as homeless shelters in the off season. This is just now coming back into the light in Florida as several law makers are asking questions as to why the law is not being followed.

Yet instead of doing research, some paranoid loon decides to drop the term homeless and insert the words detention / relocation camps.

He ties in the military training on downtown LA, yet ignores the fact its been going on for more than a decade now, in addition to taking place in Boston and Miami. Yet again he claims he has been talking about this for years now. If thats the case, where is his coverage of the other events? If he knew about it all these years, and no coup has come from it, why does he keep putting it out there?

My guess is if something remotely close, and by close I mean another training scenario, he can come back on the air and lie about the military taking over again.

The guy is a fraud, he has cried wolf to many times, he i out for only himself and no one else, and as long as people keep buying into his paranoid BS, we will have threads like this.

There is nothing wrong with keeping tabs on and challenging the government, at all levels. That job however does not fall to Alex Jones, but the American people. Its your responsibility as a citizen to exercise due diligence and research to find your own answers, not to take what jones says at face value.

To answer tis question, Alex Jones isnt the messenger -. He is nothing more than the story teller with a vivid imagination and nothing more. He is so good at telling stories that Goebbels would be proud.

I think it is ridiculous that people are complaining about you applying critical thinking to this and just because your observations don't line up with their version of reality you must be an ostrich with your head in the sand.

I think things on this site NEED to be challenged, and when they stand up to that inspection the argument is that much stronger.

If you actually looked through that thread you'd see that many sports facilities/stadiums have been/are being used as PRISONS.

It doesn't take very much to go from disaster recovery center to detention facility.

You acknowledge that it's normal to house refugees in them, and acknowledge the police/military drills utilizing them going back at least a decade and a half, and then act like that's somehow proof that they couldn't be used to detain people?

Are you kidding me?

They are not being used as prisons. In Florida they are used as homeless shelters.

But by all means prove me wrong and post your pictures and source showing the stadiums in the US being used as prisons.

Please, someone, post pictures of the LAX area in question. Please identify the source of the information.

I am not sure I can link to the Google Map image....but, anyone who wishes can simply go there (Google Maps), go to the LAX Airport, and "Satellite view". These will be older photos of course, but I can direct you to the "location" that was in the OP's video, as "reported" by the limo driver in the AJ interview.

Since I know LAX very well....have been flying in and out of it since 1981.

On current Google Maps images, the area the Limo driver is referring to is right adjacent to PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) where it bends from North/South to West/East, as it curves around the Airport perimeter on the North side, just East of Runways 42/ and 24R (the "north complex").

In the current Map images you can see the blue vans that are part of the SuperShuttle company. I also saw other vans, perhaps belonging to many of the hotels in the area, other Shuttle companies as well. Some buses, and of course, many Limos.

Contrary to the claims made in the video, by the "Limo driver", this is not accessible to the "tarmac"......its location is just under the final approach for Runway 24L.

If you look at the LAX map, you will see Terminal 1. There is an airport terminal access road that branches off from PCH/Sepulveda Blvd, called "Skyway", and also called W. 96th Street. The short stub 96th St. takes you from PCH to this road.

From this road, if travelling West, looking to the right or North, you would have a clear view of the area in question.

It's bordered by El Manor Ave and Alverstone Ave. to the West and East, respectively. Lincoln Blvd (still PCH) to the North. Again, in clear view from that road as well.

IF you just hunt around the acres of LAX, you will find many far more suitable places for a "secret FEMA camp", more to the West, and in between the North complex of two runways (24L & 24R) and the South complex (25L & 25R).

BTW....in looking at the Google Maps sat image, I see it is quite old......the International terminal is barely just begun construction of the "West Expansion" portion, in that photo. Also, the iconic "Theme Building" that dates back to the 1960s is undergoing renovations. This puts the time of the Google photo sometime in 2008-2010, give or take....

Martial law? Really?

Why bother when you're living under a state of national emergency and can (legally) do whatever you want ?
It's been that way since (wanna guess?) ...drum roll please.....9/11/2001 and quietly renewed every 2 years since.
Why declare martial law and tip everyone off?

War is the art of deception.
Question is who has been more deceitful - Alex Jones or the Government and the MSM?
Trust who you will, it's only your lives and freedom at stake.
I suggest you choose carefully.

Those of you too young to remember what America was like before 9/11 I can assure you we were a different Nation. So many freedoms lost in 11 years is not an accident and is certainly not how to defend "freedom" from any kind of terrorist threat.

They didn't pass the NDAA to help the average American, rest assured of that.

OK.....I was wrong ....Republican.......since it was George W. Bush running (again), seemed likely that it would have been the Democratic convention, and the attendant turmoil....that is what I thought I had read in reference to the 2004 events. However, the Republican convention meant that there were opposition demonstrators (which is the cause of my mind fart in the post, when I jumped to the 50/50 wrong assumption....it was my thinking of Democrats as cause of the protests that led to the detentions on Pier 57):

Detention center

About one year after the NYCTA vacated the pier, Pier 57 was temporarily utilized as a detention center during the 2004 Republican National Convention, when approximately 1,200 anti-RNC protesters were arrested and sent to a makeshift detention/processing center at Pier 57. Over 1,800 were arrested during the entire event. Medical activists reportedly treated many people held at Pier 57 for chemical burns, rashes, and infections that resulted from direct, prolonged exposure to the motor oil, asbestos, and other contaminants from its days as a bus garage.

Pier 57

But, per the other posts RE: the plans to renovate and make it a shopping center, etc:

Future

Since 2004, the pier has been completely disused. Proposals for future usage have included an extension of the Chelsea Piers sports complex or Leonardo at Pier 57, an Italian cultural center operated by Cipriani S.A..

I see the words "completely disused" since 2004, there. Think that is rather important to point out, contrary to the Alex Jones hogwash.

And yes, I stand by the emotional missives to describe him, and his shenanigans. He is a fraud, and this should be obvious by now....he is cut from the same cloth as many others of his ilk.......
