Good point. I think one of the things that makes this issue kinda blurry is distinctions. When the bible talks about Isreal and the hebrews, I think its more of a race thing.

Nowadays jewish is a religion, and largely associated with isreal. But originally I think that God was talking about the descendants of Abraham. Of which Im sure many are "jewish", but I wonder how many of them live around the world and practice different faiths, or have no faith?

So yes, the Hebrews are the chosen people, but Hebrew and Jewish are two different things. Ones a bloodline, and another is a religion.


Either way I think that biblically the point is a little mute. In the new testament Jesus speaks of how he is there to speak to the jews, and the gentiles. In Acts the Holy Spirit distinctly tells the Apostles to preach to the greeks, the asians, and everyone else basically. Not only that, Jesus makes it clear that you cant enter the kingdom of heaven by following the law alone.
That would say to me that the whole issue of chosen people really doesnt matter much. You either believe the whole thing, and practice it, or you dont. Its not about who your ancestors were, its about how you live your life.

But thats just my two sense.

Only a particular person resonates with the God of Israel, and I can assure you that there are people - in my experience, mostly people of gnostic persuasion, many of whom happen to be masons - who despise with all their might the God of the Jews, not simply because out of some childish hate, but because they believe thatHe is a false God.. Such people reserve special hatred for the philosophically inclined who defend the verity of the God of Israel being God in the absolute sense; and these are the Rabbis of Israel. Also, the Puritans were a unusual example of Christians who truly understood the metaphysical doctrine of the Torah, who sought to ingrain those principles in the societies they established in the new world, before the Gnostic's i.e. Lutherans, Calvinists, Catholics etc, came over and undermined everything they had accomplished.

Read up on Blavatsky, Manly P Hall, Frithjof Schuon, Rene Guenon, Gurdjieff, etc all authors popular amongst Freemasons (yet I've been told Freemasonry supports the aims of Judaism?) who continuously point out throughout their works the fraudulence of the God of the Jews, whom they contrast with the "father" of Christianity, and the God worshiped by Islam, and the spiritual traditions of the East.

It's a general philosophical assertion in the esoteric schools that the God worshiped by the Jews, or the God of the Bible, is the 'demiurgus' - the "false" urge, the highest archon (or archetype) which 'veils' and conceals the true God - the All - from humanity. This is both the belief of Christians and Muslims (and you learn of this as you study Sufism; the episode in the Quran between Al Kadir - the green one - and Moses - reason, highlights this doctrine), with philosophical support from the Hindus, who likewise believe that Brahma, which can be considered a cognate of the Jewish God, to be the Hindu Demiurgus. Alain Danielou explains:

The Skanda Purana (1.1.6; 3.2.9-15;3.1.12) gives a number of reasons why Brahma is not today an object of worship. One of them is that he was condemned by Siva never to be worshiped by mortals because he lied, pretending he had reached the summit of the linga of light. (ibid 1.1.6). - Alain Danielou, The Myths and Gods of India, pg. 235, Inner Traditions International.

The summit of the linga of light (linga meaning 'sign') is the highest reality, the prima materia, or primordial chaos. This is what Siva is associated with, inasmuch as Siva is the the destroyer, and the power of destruction derives itself from the negative principle, which is the primordial chaos that precedes creation i.e. Brahma. In the Hindu system, the positive principle is Vishnu, which is considered a centripetal force, while Siva is the power of disintegration and decay, which is centrifugal. When these powers are balanced, creation occurs, and this is Brahma. Brahma is thus the 'illusion', which only the angels are supposed to worship. As Danielou explains:

As the creating principle, Brahma is not usually worshiped. Mens aspirations go towards liberation or toward divine contemplation, and this leads them towards Siva or Vishnu. Brahma is worshiped by the angels, the seers, the lords of progeny, who are the entities upon whom rest the management and organization of the material universe

Manly P Hall is pretty adamant throughout his works, particularly in 'lecture on ancient philosophy', that the God of the Jews is the God of an earlier age.

It is said in holy writ that none shall look upon the God of Israel and live. But Israel’s God was the Lord of another day, and woe unto him who shall turn back from this day to worship the irate gods of yesterday; for he shall parish from the narrowness of his own vision.

- Manly P Hall, Lectures on Ancient Philosophy, pg. 238, Tarcher Penguin

His God, of course, despite contradicting himself, is not a God limited by any age - but a God that transcends the conditions of all created reality.

Man wandered hopelessly in the gloom of mortality, living and dying without light of understanding in his servitude to the demiurgus and his host of spirits. At last, the spirit of rebellion entered creation in the form of Lucifer, who in his guise of a serpent tempted man to revolt against the mandates of Jehovah (the demiurgus)

And as I've explained innumerable times before, the gnostics who control the west and the cult they follow - which is the cult of undermining the God of Israel - is all about breaking down the divine name (or divine prototype) and rearranging it's letters to create their own world, in their own image, in accord with the God (or goddess, for that matter) they worship.

Manly P Hall explain in his book 'the secret destiny of America" that,

The seventy-two stones [in the pyramid on the dollar bill] are the seventy-two arrangements of the Tetragrammaton, or the four-lettered name of God, in Hebrew. These four letters can be combined in seventy-two combinations, resulting in what is called the ShemHaMforash, which represents, in turn, the laws, powers, and energies of nature by which the perfection of man is achieved.

These 72 letters, as those who study Kabbalah know, are the principles which govern creation. The tetragrammaton, written out in full (with each letter filled out), in the form of AV (Ayin Bet, which equals 72, and thus corresponds to the world of Atziluth, the world of emanation i.e the world of the archetypal forms) determines the flow of energy from the creator into the created realm. By manipulating the root archetypal energies of creation, the gnostic prevents the creator (which to them is synonymous with demiurge,and all it implies) from exercising any power over the created realm. The Tower is the tower of Babel, the sky is the demiurgus (which agrees with ancient mythology, where the sky is the masculine principle) and the 8 people are the 8 spiritual powers; 3 men and the 3 women, 6 in total, are related with the building of the structure (these being the 6 powers of the rational soul) and the two working under the canvas are intellectual powers. They bring a basket up at one side and a block of stone at the other, to symbolize material and spiritual advancement. Overlooking the project with his head piercing through the heavens is the Christos - the Anthropos, which is the primordial man. He is the inspiration of the project.

The Jews were 'sacked' long before that, by the Gnostic Christians.

Though, since Christianity as it exists today didn't exist before the 10th century, I would agree that Edward apparent 'vision' had the British (like i explained earlier, Brit Ish means 'covenantal man') replace the Jews as Gods chosen.

Yet ironically, it was the British who helped the Jews regain political control of the holy land, albeit, in the beginning, whereas at the end of their mandate they contributed to Hitlers Holocaust by keeping Jews out of Palestine (even when they were fleeing for their lives, the British turned their ships away, back to Romania, where they were sent to their deaths) via their 1939 white paper, which limited Jewish immigration to the holy land to 10,000 a year, a reduction of a good 40,000 from what it was set at by the earlier immigration quota.

Do not be mistaken. The TRUE, and enlightened mystics of Christendom, know that the British are in no way the "people of the covenant", since they, just as much their European/Christian brethren, do not believe in the God of Israel. So what covenant? What significance does a covenant have to a people who follow a tradition that excludes the sheer concept of "choseness"? In a Christianity where all people who accept Christ (or mans own choseness) are 'chosen'.

Silliness. Really. The replacement theology is pure nonsense. At the end of the day, it is a metaphysical philosophy which denounces the religion of the Jews, and not some theological melodrama created by the Church to compel the ignoramuses to follow them...

God's "chosen people" come from the lineage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Jacob was the twin of Esau. Esau was the 1st born, but gave up his birthright to Jacob, for a bowl of soup.

So, after Jacob tricked Esau into signing away his birthright....Esau wasn't too happy, and wanted to kill Jacob. Jacob went on the run, got himself into more problems, and finally "wrestled" with God. God knocked some sense into that boy's head, put a limp in his walk, and God changed Jacob's name (which means deceiver, trickster) to Israel (Prince with God). All of Jacob's aka Israel's descendants are considered the "Children of Israel".

Now, you have to understand....Abraham's and Isaac's blessing...to understand what Jacob's inheritance was. Abraham....IS the father of FAITH! God blessed Abraham, because of Abraham's FAITH. Therefore, the "Children of Israel" are the "Children of Faith". We are not legal heirs, but adopted ones, through FAITH by Jesus the Christ.

Jesus comes from the lineage of David...Jacob's bloodline.

Ok, so the "Jews" (religious folks) are the people that don't believe Jesus is the Messiah because Jesus was crucified; and in their "religion"...."anyone that hangs from a tree, is cursed"...so, Jesus COULDN'T have been the Messiah, because of that fact.

The gentiles would be the people that weren't born into the Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, lineage; Jesus's bloodline...but receive the same inheritance, as the "chosen ones", by FAITH. This event occured with an encounter that Jesus had with a certain women. Her FAITH changed God's feelings about 'gentiles'.

You should read the book of Genesis....you know....start from "The Beginning". Then, perhaps, you should try, "Matthew".

God's word, the one people say....was "written by man"....re-written over the years, and blah, blah, blah....are missing the PRINCIPLES of the book; the PROMISES...that are received by FAITH. Like the B.I.B.L.E. says.........."WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD". Enter: "War on Terror" (stage left).

F.E.A.R., ladies and gentlemen, is the opposite of FAITH....and FAITH is the key to God's heart! Besides, to be afraid....is against God's commandments. God said: "Do NOT be afraid, nor be dismayed, for I am with you, where ever you go". Do NOT means: "DO NOT". I don't think it's a request!

Jesus did NOT come from the Tribe of Judah/House of David because he was the step son of Joseph, not his biological son.

Whom the Jews regard as "gentiles" is wrong for the most part because there are more gentiles out there carrying the bloodine of the Hebrews than there are Jews (excluding the Mizrachi & Sephardic). I can pretty much pick where the highest concentration around the world of Jacob's tribes are with reasonable confidence. Just look at the history of where the Israelites went to during the time they were sent in to exile - follow the trail and the picture appears clearer.

What i find interesting is there's some fool named Maitreya that appears around the world at wierd times and people worship him like he is Christ and we know damned well he isn't Jesus because if this is the millenial reign i'd rather just die because this would be one piss poor millenial reign. Supposedly he's a part of Bahai from the things i read about. Bahai is the religion of staring into the mirror and saying to yourself "I AM, I AM" which is blasphemy of the highest order. It's 100% pure new age garbage.

Ive heard a great deal about the Mitraya guy. Supposedly he goes around the world, but I never hear of anyone actualy seeing him. His "host" or pope is Benjamin Creme

I heard this guy on coast to coast some years back. A real wak job. Funny though, I still dont see this mitraya guy anywhere except in a very small handfull of pictures.

How can you know about maitreya, but not benjamin Creme? The guy in the pictures you're seeing, hes not associated with the Bahai faith, but with Benjamin creme. Its from his websites, and HIS people, that this guy has been promulgated as the messiah.

Actually they weren't sacked. BUT. What happened was they triggered the curse of Malachi when they killed John the Baptist. See the link.

The problem here is that this curse is a TEMPORARY thing. It was 2000 years long but it almost over. My best guess is that it's over by May of 2028 at the latest.

One other problem here. Most likely everyone reading this is actually afflicted by this curse. Why? Because of what Genesis tells us. Specifically Chap. 48 and 49. Simply put the Jews and the Israelites were supposed to mingle with the world. And they were supposed to become a multitude of nations. And the descendants of Israel were to be like the stars in the sky or grains of sand on a beach. Most likely you are a Israelite by blood and don't know it.

Why do any Christians today still think that people in the religion of Judaism have been at any time considered "chosen" since the death of Christ?

Somehow I dont think we're talking about the same merciful, gracious God of the bible.

Merciful and gracious God? Ever read the Ancient Testament? Yeah.... God is a sick bastard in there.

And about Sodom And Gomorrah... kind of a contradiction that God gave us free will, but then Sodom and Gomorrah citizens used free will to do what they were doing and God punished them for it.

God : yeah I give you free will but if you don't do what I want, I kill you!

Seems to me God is like a slave owner.

Supposedly .... People are made in the image and likeness of God. So does that mean that God is a racial and/or political bigot (liking the Jews best .. 'favored' children) ? Does that mean that God is both loving and hating at the same time? Does that mean that God is both caring and disengaged? That's a pretty damn psychotic God .. if we are made in His image. I just don't get it.
