This is actual, rarely known official doctrine of both the Roman Catholic and Church Of England...

1. The Jews WERE chosen by God.to be His people.

2.The Jews WERE SACKED by God as His chosen people in 1040AD.

In 1040AD, an angel of the Lord appeared and conveyed to St Edward the Confessor that the Jews were now sacked as God's people and the English were now appointed instead.

THE CREEPY CONFIRMATION OF THIS...

Now whilst this might seem a hoot, there is also a more creepy aspect to this. The Angel of 1040AD ALSO instructed St Edward to build his capital upon Thorny Island, marshy island, a few miles upstream to the West of London (as it was then) where no-one lived and was covered in weeds and bushes. St Edward complied and built a church (also known then as a Minster) and a small palace on this site in 1041AD. Amongst other prophecies, the Angel also told St Edward that if he did so, it would one day be the capital of the most powerful empire that the world would ever see.

So what happened?

The church on Thorny Island (to the west of London) became known as "Westminster" and became the site of the Houses Of Parliament which would, by the turn of the 20th Century, run 1/3 of the globe, the largest empire in history.

Interesting post. However, did Edward write all this stuff down at the time, or was it passed down orally for generations until somebody finally put it into print? The reason I ask is, these types of stories typically are more myth than fact, and it sounds very much like the "Manifest Destiny" doctrine, used in America as an excuse to expand westward.

I never did buy the idea that God choose a people based on their region or race. That would mean that God plays favorites, which is a very human trait and not divine at all.

Wouldnt gods chosen people run more than 1/3 of the globe, like all thirds of the globe? It is not much of a chosen people if the majority of the world is outside their control. Although i will give you that they contol that much by claiming to be gods chosen, never underestimate the power of suggestion.

i think merely being a human being is sufficient to constitute a group of "chosen ones"

I don't think the Jews got that memo.

They still think they are the Chosen one's.

Stuff that the Brits did not control Argentina which largely answers your point. Who'd want it? Not surprisingly, I guess, God feel the same about the Argentinians the "reject" people of God.

The House of Judah was left desolate when Christ died and Jerusalem was sacked in 70AD.
The Elect of Judah accepted Christ as their Messiah and became Christians.
Jews today follow the religion of Judaism. They do not have God.
The Chosen Elect are a small group among people who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

It is truly arrogant of man to think that he is chosen, considering there are over 100 billion planets just in our galaxy alone. If the Earth was destroyed tomorrow, the Universe would take little notice.

It is intresting that

En route to Jericho from his encampment at "Shi-ttim" (meaning, “Acacia,” from its scourging thorns), Joshua (ala Biblical YHWH and Marduk-Ra) divides the floodwaters of the Jordan and the Israelites cross over on dry land. For seven days the army of Joshua marches around Jericho, and on the seventh day marches around it seven times

So God helping his people establish their kingdom and that their HQ was referred to as "thorny" or like the Acacia
is a recurring theme.

Well its really funny how "gods chosen people"
are absolutely ZERO without America supporting or defending them. If they were ever forced to break free from Mommie Americas teet, the whinny temper-tantrum throwing babies would cease to exist.

If their IS a "god", the REAL "god" SURELY doesnt give a crap for these "chosen people". Parasite losers.

Hmmm

This is what makes me think otherwise.

God's word is Truth, right? (I'm going with the OP here, so dont hate)

If this is so... then if God says that these people are the chosen, and God cannot/willnot lie, then they will always be so. That does not mean that there are not others chosen as well.

Do you think it's possible that this person may have fullfilled his own prophecy? I mean, who would go against a man of God without being burned at the stake? Perhaps if a person creates such a prophecy, one so simple and easy to sway people to, then such a thing would happen. I'm sure there may have been some motivation based on his prophecy alone.

But then, I do not claim to know one way or the other... I just cant see God of Truth just deciding to change his mind one day.. Especially after we that have read this bible, understand that Gods word is eternal. Once it is spoken, it will always be.

Though, again, I do not claim to know the mind/thoughts and actions of God.

This laughable bunk.

If I hire someone to work for me and they keep turning up late, take long lunch hours, write off the company car and the stock starts going missing, then of course, (unless I live in North Korea) I can just SACK THEM.

The Jews were given Sodom and Gomorrah. They treated it as PARTY TIME.
The Jews were given the Ark Of The Covenant. They gave it away to the Ethiopians.
The Jews were given the Boss's only son. They killed him.
The Jews were given the promised land. They lost it.

CLASSIC BAD, BAD EMPLOYEES. They got the sack.

I wont pretend to know the mind of God. While I still believe the Hebrews are God's chosen people, I can see why many others would think otherwise. And perhaps they would be right. I am not well versed enough in Hebrew culture to know either way.

Heres the interesting thing though. Chosen people or not, they've been extremely lucky in some aspects.

Not counting the fact that Isreal wasn't a country for 2000 years, and then out of the ashes of the holocaust it was born, the actual language of modern Hebrew is something that has only existed recently.

The process of Hebrew's return to regular usage is unique; there are no other examples of a natural language without any native speakers subsequently acquiring several million such native speakers, and no other examples of a sacred language becoming a national language with millions of first language speakers.

Looks like the angel was lying. Damn those decieving spirits eh? Rome has always been the most powerful empire in the world from the past to current day. In fact the Roman Empire still exists, it just changed forms into the Roman Catholic Church. The Antichrist has been busy taking over the world through his religion and secret societies like the Freemasons, the Odd-fellows, the Shriners and the Knights-Templars, who still exist but just changed the name of their order to the Jesuits. In fact, the Pope currently owns the title of Pontiff and Caesar. In fact, G.B. was conquered by the Pope when the Church of England decided to kiss and make up and return to the fold by turning their backs on Martin Luther and John Calvin.

England fell to the Little Horn of the 4th Beast (Rome). Yep, 'ol Caesar still has his hands in every government in the world, including the U.S. and his one world religion Universalism (A.K.A. Bahai) is spreading like the Black Death.

This is completely unbiblical and lies. If you knew anything about prophecy you wouldn't even say this.

Well, British can be broken up to mean Brit Ish - 'man of the covenant'.

Perhaps the "covenant" refers to the above story.

Somehow I dont think we're talking about the same merciful, gracious God of the bible. From what I read in it, it advises that there is NO end to his mercy.. so long as the wayward come back to him. Otherwise, I have no idea what you've been reading but its not the bible.

Also, it kinda sounds to me you have it kinda personal against God's chosen. Are you british? Just curious of the motivation behind your statements.

One last memo... I think one day, we will somehow realise, we all belong to one of the 12 tribes of Jews...

I mean.. If you believe in the bible. If you believe this guy, you must believe in a basis behind his faith. If that is also true, then you cant take only part of the bible and call it true (Jews once being chosen) and toss the rest out as a lie. (The 12 tribes/12kings living in Gods kingdom on earth)

How can we argue a topic if you forget about the rest of the "story". Either it's all true or all false. So far, it's been pretty good on history.

Damn Lone... I didnt know about this Bahai stuff. Very odd indeed. It's very appealing.

Though what really weirded me out... That caligraphy image set on a 9 pointed star? Did you notice that it appears to be written in english? I dunno what language its in, probably persian or whatever... But did you ever notice that it actually spells out E V I L quite clearly? I mean, thats not even a trick of image or light. It litteraly spells out EVIL.

Just wow. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Apparently the head guy's shrine is in Israel. Desolation of Abomonation comes to mind. This guy also claimed to be the 12 imam. I can see why he was such a threat to Iran back then. Ya know.. It would be wild if that guy was Irans real Imam. Go figure.. They killed him like the Jews and Romans killed Christ.

Alot of that stuff appears to be "prophetic" in a way that it kinda fits in with Christianity's version of the anti-christ also. Now I start to wonder about a whole new timeline and events. Maybe... Just Maybe... We're far ahead of time than we think we are. Im not sayin it's so, but we could be at the very end of the last days if this were the case. Very interesting read. Now I have something else to tickle my curiosity.

Thanks again buddy!
