We are pondering these thoughts but the TRUTH is that nobody is going to tell us anything about contact being made if it has happened or if it will happen. I would bet that a human being has seen an alien body, thats contact for me.

I'm sure we have made contact. Going back to the 1950s when Eisenhower was encountered with the Greys after the Roswel incident. Also after that event, they have came here many time to try to stop our nuclear weapons programs. They shut down nuclear reactors here in the U.S and it also happened in Russia as well.

A10, I agree with a lot you said, and I wasn't trying to "pollute" this thread by any means, but you should take offence to something when someone voices a opinion you don't agree with...That seems rather childish, and if I say I don't believe something, don't go on to insult me and say I am "polluting the thread" because I don't share the same ideas as you. ATS is ment for serious discussions and it is okay to debate with someone, but in a mature matter. So it's all good, just try to see both sides of the fence and not just your side.

While somewhat tongue-in-cheek, the quarantine or non-interference idea is the only one that seems to make sense, from a human point of view. Whether or not the aliens have the same thought patterns we do? Who knows?

i think it comes down to, us we think in a singular sense, as in even if we want our country and friends and family to succeed, we are really more focused and conserned with ourselves.

now we havnt changed at all and maybe that will be an evoloutionry step for us, i mean we have systematically over the last few thousand years since we could killed each other, gave each ther hiv, radiation posioning, and shot each other, we have caused emotional problems, for some. exalted and celebrated a few. i mean the next step would surley be understanding of each other. and who knows bulletproof skin for the lolz anyway thats another thread.

point being i want to believe in them, but if there so far advandced then its one of two things, we would be nothing but a burden to thier system, like a person on welfare. or we just are not even a blip on thier radar.

or scary option being, thier so far advanced they use mind control, to manipulate us to cause world wars, in said wars they systematically come down and abduct the food, or whatever reason they would want people dead or alive. maybe some part of our blood, is a drug or fuel to them.

then we come to the more likely conclusion of even if, they had the technology, and genuis to create such things why would they care, on the contary, they might not want to be known after they saw hitler or stalin, i mean our history is rich with these guys who systematically show no remorse, for horrendous actions, i wouldnt really want to empower you for fear of what youd do to me. when my home is an eden.

and then what if they are still in the stone age, or if they are like us and just fight each other to much to really work together and get thier arse into deep space.

possiblities are endless hell, thier could even be half tiger half panda giants that fly, and have wisdom beyond the wisest budhist monk lol
