In response to your title question: nope. I'm tired of the status-quo, Big-Government-Democrat vs Big-Government-Republican, take-turns eviscerating the constitution from different angles bandwagon.

They all went into their holes to hide....and now you do this and they are all going to come back.

Shame on you.

Quoted for Truth... I mean c'mon... I've read this guy's platform over and over and over, read the Daily Paul, read his own website and he scares me....and that's hard to do......

I know he's not overly fond of women's rights either.....that's a downer for me right there...

of course no maybe someone will actually listen when I say the following : The Ron Paul supporters are doing exactly what the Obama supporters did 4 years ago.... "Oh you're wrong, it was just a disgruntled -Insert Name of person/job/worker here-" "Oh my god you are so wrong you need to read what this guy says" "Well he's always been consistent "

Well i've also always been consistent in my views that my body is my own, does that qualify me for such standing? He almost had a follower in me until one of his minions came to my door and mentioned that "if you get raped, not only is it your fault, but you have to keep the child made"

Sorry fellas, not happening in this lifetime, 4 rapes later I am not buying it...or supporting it.

How am I wrong on his foreign policy. He's stated it time and time again.....and I've read his views and his policies. I have reduced it down to simple foreign policy. Provide me another point or his policy on foreign policy that contradicts what I've written please.

You quoted him correctly enough.. you interpreted him 100% incorrectly. You might notice I did NOT say your post was 100% wrong.

If it helps you to understand (if you even really give a damn), read my OP here and see if it helps with understanding his foreign policy.

I read your post and can appreciate "staying out of other people's business" which keeps you out of fights and how that correlates to Ron Paul's foreign policy. I offer you this though, there's people out there just like countries, North Korea, China, Japan, Iran to name a few, that are radical. No matter what we do or don't do, they will attack first chance they get because of what this country stands for. All I'm saying with Paul is, even if you like his approach of staying out of someone elses business, that doesn't necessarily mean they will stay out of ours. His approach is one that he believes will allow for peace when all it will do is allow a window of time for preparation from these countries that despise us to formulate a way to bring us down. We can't have that and expect to remain the same country we are now. That philosophy would be GREAT if every country thought that way....but the sad truth is we know and can predict what the other countries will do, no matter what we do!!!! thanks for sending me to your link and i do give a damn

OK, please explain why Japan is radical. I have a family member stationed in Japan for the last 5 years who would refute that statement whole heartedly. Furthermore sir, I find it both niave and misleading that you would suggest ANY sitting president in todays era of interconnectedness would not use our unsurpassed network of inteligence agents (both ours and our allies) To defend our citizens home and abroad. Please go directly to the source and not to MSM outlets for your news. If you havent figured out they have an agenda, and you've been an ATS reader for any lenght of time, then you are not getting it.

Wow, where did you hear he wasnt "fond" of womens rights? Would really like a source to back that up, as I have many female friends in the 26 to 56 range who dont let much slip past them who Love Dr.Paul.

Also, are you claiming someone supporting (dark evil minion I mean.) RP knocked on your door and brought up rape? I am guessing that YOU brought it up, most likely attacking him, and some guy interjected his own thoughts and feelings rather than sticking to the campaign mesage.

and I am sorry..4 times. Thats horrible. Please be safe.

Tired of the Ron Paul Bandwagon???

Hell yes.

I was tired of it months ago.

I don't care what the man thinks or doesn't think.

ATS has seemed like a center for those trying to brainwash others to join the R. Paul fanclub through blind allegiance and propaganda, attacking anyone who isn't head-over-heels for the old coot.

Me personally do not think that violence is perfectly fine. But the world is not ruled by a bunch of hippies.
Humanity always used violence for its own goals since the beginning of times. It would be a mistake to suggest hat the human nature has changed.

Now, when MSM available, before using violence, start a campaign to make everyone believe that it is for good so you will not be hated.

I have even a better idea. Make everyone believe that all that mighty US army serve to protect all the humankind. From whom? Would be nice to have a small alien invasion, but that's a bit difficult, so let it be an enemy with no country, no reasonable goals and invisible. Every empire needs an enemy.

There is no need to come and take resources. Just make sure they will give you the resources for the money you can create.

I am very disappointed with the OP, have you learned nothing being a member of ATS.

Nothing ?

Or is it just denial beaten into your skull by the MSM ?

And as to your foreign policy quibble, I know why Ron Paul doesn't agree with the current American foreign policy, because it is 100% based on 9/11. And anybody who posts to this site knows why.
And even if you are on the fence on that there is a secondary explanation.

Blowback, Second Edition: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire

You Sir are wasting your time on ATS, go to Redstate or the Hannity forums.

EDIT: Ah I see your a newb to ATS that explains the why, give it some time and will you begin to understand.

I think its pretty obvious that the only MORAL solution is to withdraw and take care of our own. But for a moment, ill look at your viewpoint.

How can 1 million dead iraqis doused in depleted uranium shells not be vengeful? How can the country of libya, with free electricity, healthcare and education not be vengeful? Why does Obama get the peace prize after destroying Africa's most successful country?

Did we make Iraq a better place, and did we make friends or enemies?

Why is it wrong to believe that when the economy is failing, we stop investing in war, and invest in ourselves?

It would be stupid not to use the excessive military power to protect the dominant USD role, which gives a lot of benefit to the country.
If you do not want to use it, so decrease your army spending, but be ready at the same time that the USD will lose its current role with all the consequences.

I think he wants a heapin' helpin' of senseless violence. But really, belittling those who want peace and calling them "Brainwashed" is about as ridiculous as it gets. I would argue that nationalism has brainwashed those who want governments to get involved.

Sadly the 4 or more people who gave the thread OP whose a obvious troll stars arent getting that message, i guess they want to see it happen, and may be then they all would be saying this.

OH!! RON PAUL WAS RIGHT! we were SO STUPID!
But sadly that would be to late.

Text First post here at ATS, so be gentle I bruise easy.
I don't know if anyone has pointed this out, but.. what bothers me the most is the blatant blankness of the media concerning Ron Paul, from BOTH CNN & FOX, and the fact that that doesn't turn anyone's heads at ALL. You have all of this (or did) OWS outrage that Ron Paul could've been a natural faunt for to tap into for the Republicans, and yet they (Repubs) not only ignored it, but labeled it & mocked it. (BTW, when exactly did "fiscal responsibility" become a leftist idea when it comes to the auditing of the Fed?)

The media blackout on Ron Paul is a given, we all know this. The fact that the right doesn't want him to win only proves (to me), that the system wants to stay "business a usual". It's business as usual that got us here, it'll be business as usual that pushes us over the cliff like a runaway freight train.

Frankly I'm just waiting for the Visigoths to come & finish us off at this point. IF RP doesn't win we get what we deserve, period.

I registered simply to get in on this. First off, who is going to attack us on our own soil if we adopt Ron Pauls foreign policy? Iran? Anyone who knows anything about military knows Iran is a paper tiger and poses no threat to America. Could they do some harm to Israel if they built a nuke, of course. Do I think they would? Nope because it's speculated that Israel has their fair share of nukes to retaliate back with. Just because one insane guy says he would want to blow them off the map does not mean they would, the results for Iran would be catastrophic.

This should be in the rant section, because your post is devoid of reason and facts.

RP wants people to understand terrorism isn't born in a vacuum. Your government wants you to believe that terrorists hate you because you are you, and it has nothing to do with foreign policy, and the US is not way at fault, not even a little, for whatever "blowback" it suffers.

That said, you said RP supporters are "antiwar" like that's a bad thing. Where exactly do you stand? Do you support war? Do you want those soldiers put in harms way for reasons completely opposed to creating peace, and protecting the US? Are you enlisted? You should be.
