This thread is simple enough, simply screen capture the sites and upload to imageshack or any other free file hosting site, then simply paste within here, lets see how the day will end. So my first random screen shot is:

Very classy by Wikipedia. I just checked and they are down alright. They add a box for your zip code to enter and see all the contact information for your local representatives and senators though. That IS helpful.

I suppose between SkepticOverlord's message here on ATS recently and now the true GIANTS of the Internet going off line in protest for the first time in their history, it removes all doubt about this being the real deal this time. No drill. These are apparently every bit as bad as everyone suggests.

Of course when a bill really DOES suck, the media is silent except to ridicule those who would stand against it. What a joke. We should draft the leading staffs from high school newspapers nation wide and replace the people in the MSM newsrooms. The kids couldn't do worse and they'd bring true enthusiasm to an industry apparently stuffed with drunk burn outs and bubble brained bimbos.

Sorry, I'm on an IPad so I cannot do a screen capture. Wordpress just blacked out and has a comprehensive protest page. If someone cares to capture it I would appreciate it.
Cheers,
D.

I think the only article you can pull up is SOPA which is a pretty good idea.
Google's effort seems kind of half hearted since the site seems to be completely functional, with only their name blacked out, but every little bit counts and at least they're raising awareness.

Here's a simple one from smbc-comics.com
