Trumpets of God .. Now in Alberta

I did not like that noise at all. In fact, it made me feel very uneasy. It sounds like some nebulous wailing with eerie sound effects laced in. The sound seems to be coming from nowhere and everywhere at once. The skeptic in me says that it is a hoax...that someone dubbed some weird sounds over a benign video. It sounded so unnatural. Can someone tell me more about the original? Someone mentioned something about Kiev. I hope this is a hoax because that sound was scary as hell.

I can play a recorded audio through my entertainment system and blast it for sure people will be claiming the same thing.

These sounds aren't being heard in Britain where I live.

Don't get me wrong it could be the government preparing for project bluebeam or something and testing the sound equipment... that or Godzilla?

Some of the examples in the plethera of threads here are from England - but there are too many threads to start wading through them to provide you with the links - sorry.

I've never heard the noise myself (north west England), though a couple of years back, I did hear the less dramatic rumbling type sound several nights running, that seemed to be coming from underground, as did my sister who lives in a suburb about 10 miles away. That was disturbing enough, since I was unable to identify the cause of it.

Very similar to tripod's sound from War of the Worlds.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone was playing this sound right behind camera.

there has to be an explanation for the "real" ones but, as humans we always fear the unknown.

till i see a major local or global news covering the story or hear it myself. it will remain "not real"

I like these sounds, I find it very interesting. If it was caves making the noise, wouldn't you be able to pin point where the noise was coming from? Because a lot of people are saying it's coming from the sky and can't find or see the source of the noise.

Whether these are hoaxes or not, I still enjoy the threads, posts, videos and comments. I find it all very interesting rather than frightening.

True, but I have never heard of this and it is just your theory. It doesn't make it so. Good theory, no doubt...but until it's proven whatever it is.....who REALLY knows?

just to report that in Malta there is no strange sound phenomena....but anyway...here nothing ever happens..so basically people only has to freak out when the sound is heard here too

Well, this sound is exactly same as Kiev Video from 2011 august. I bet they only put that sound on same video. Its 100% same as Kiev video.

Maybe it is coming from caves and they are releasing some kind of gases that have been under high pressure and there gases are what are killing off the birds? maybe?

i live in southern alberta(calgary) and to this day i havent eard a thing except in the outskirts you hear oilfield & machinery sounds which are no trumpets.

As already pointed out on the net it's a replica of the Kiev hoax - same sounds.

Its probably Abaddon/Apollyon or a hoax..not really sure what it is. Worrying about it will not change anything tho..is there any recorded evidence other than youtube on this? I looked into "the hum" and came across this site not that is truth but it does give a audio sample of "the hum" which would be very easy to overlay anyvideo...the best option would be to track down written accounts of this noise.

The site mentioned HAARP to blame. I say see if we can find any records dating back prior to HAARP.

Site Sound

Has it occurred to anyone that the reason why the guys standing around in the woods were wearing protective gear was because they were going to cut down trees? The sound in that video sounds like a buzz saw.

OK..looked at the other thread with the same video and two other videos for comparison. I will say this is a hoax. It is the same audio source file. The birds in the background even match up each clip starts off the same.

Why do people waste their time creating HOAXES??? What purpose could it possibly serve??? Did you ever consider the possibility that ONE is/was the real mccoy... while the rest are hoaxes???

Now it's your job to try and figure out which one was the real deal.
