Strange sounds in Mexico?

For those of you that say this is a hoax PROVE IT, no one so far have found the source, here in Fl I have a friend who heard this sound in Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach area. It started like trumpets and then all you could hear was a loud jet "afterburner sound" so loud that he told his house was shaking. (by the way my friend works for Nasa and it was not NASA related)

After more thought it does appear to be a copycat hoax just as some have pointed out the pattern is the same in the videos. Lets say maybe it is not. The sound has a fingerprint and should be analyzed with a program like audacity to see if the same fingerprint is used. I would do it myself but have to leave to work

I think it's important that you take a step back and quit being so defensive. Nobody is claiming that every single reported "strange sound" is faked. What IS being claimed, is that the kiev footage and it's resulting COPY CATS are almost certainly FAKE.

The video you have provided here, does not use the same sound, now does it? Is that particular video faked? It doesn't seem like it to me. What is heard in the video? I have no idea, and it isn't at all relevant to this thread. The sound in the video in the OP is CLEARLY the same sound as kiev and all the other copy cats, and is FAKE. Does that mean everyone who has ever heard something strange is lying? Of course not. Use your head.

Been following these "strange sounds" threads for a year or two....but..this is bar far the freakiest.
This is global right? You mean to tell me nobody has any definitive answers?

Could this some how be connected to the slight shift in the position of the planet?

Oh my goodness had to share this video of Nasa recording sounds in space of Jupiter. Sounds eerily like the noise on these videos wooo hoooo I think I found it. By the way this video is from 1990 PEACE

Those 2 videos(op, kiev) could have the same sound or similar but doesnt mean they are a hoax, check on youtube and you will find that sound in different parts of the world, you need a HUGEEEE Sound System to create that sound and to make a few houses vibrate it requires big subwoofers, I use to install sound stages for concerts and who ever is doing this must have big bucks to do it all over the world. The video I posted is the Afterburner sound, my friend told me he heard the trumpets sound like the OP video and then it was followed by the jet afterburner sound, he lives by the beach.

That is similar enough to make me now wonder if somehow because of changes in the atmosphere (hole in the ozone layer, etc.) some sounds like that may be getting through, and are being reflected off the earth to form what we hear.

I'm calling hoax simply because there is nowhere near enough exposure for such a susposed worldwide phenomenon but I thought this video was interestingly close to the sound and not faked.

Where exactly do you see houses vibrating? In the kiev footage there are people walking around. Apparently blissfully unaware of the sound which is supposedly shaking buildings all around them? How do you explain the EXACT SAME AUDIO being used in the conklin alberta video, right down to the birds chirping and children playing? Or the fact a local news station interviewed residents in the area in Kiev and nobody they talked to heard anything of the sort? I can't speak for the reliability of your friends testimony, but what I can assert, is that the kiev footage is obviously hoaxed, and it's resulting offshoots have created a viral frenzy of copy cat hoaxes that is apparent to anyone with a reasonable sense of logic and a functioning set of ears.

I can believe that one.

But how many reports are there? And I`m really baffled on how this is just one person reporting something that surely would be noticed by more then just one person in the area with a recording device. People on the street are not looking around for it Why?
Take transformers blowing up as well. The Police get swamped with calls. Not so much with these much more continues sounds Why?

People really seem to want this to be really happening without any facts. There are at least other postings of UFO like lights that get put up at the same places on youtube but that still hasn`t been enough to satisfied that they are real.

These sounds would have more then the one possibly two news links you can think of and other witnesses capturing it.

This thread as all the others like it has only proven these sounds are in many areas again from one poster in that area. Sure there are some that are very real but explainable in many cases.

Like I said these all could be hoaxers and the way it looks backs my theory up much more then it being real.
Again sure there are real sounds that happen and can`t be explained by the person filming it but this Mexico sound I am seriously not including in that.

In my humble opinion, a viral marketing campagn for the upcoming movie 'Battleship' is a viable candidate.

The sounds 'heard' all around the world reminded me of the sound effects used in the trailers of Battleship, especially trailer #2.



Allthough the whole style matches in my opinion, pay special attention to the 1:15 mark, where the metallic ship/life form activates some sort of defense shield. This sounds pretty similar to what is heard in these youtube video's.

In terms of marketing it is perfect. Make the whole world wonder what the hell this sound is, and shortly before the movie is launched in cinemas, create a (amature-like) youtube video explaining the sounds with the rise of one of these machines out of the ocean somewhere. Leave the whole world amazed and wanting to see this movie.

Of course, this all is just speculation. Just trying to keep it real.

Here is my take I won't call it a hoax because I can't prove, nor disprove these sounds, so until I hear the sounds personally I am very skeptical.

With Age of electronic devices on everyone these day, cell phones, digital cameras with video, laptops, I-pads you would think with sounds like these there would be 100,000's of recordings.

And if I heard a sound like this I would record it, then be calling most of the people I know to see if they heard it too.

This video shows how easy it is to make your own or reproduce the noises in the sky phenomena.

This took a few minutes to make, I ripped the audio from another video and then cross faded it with my video. While recording the video my dog started to bark which made it a bit more realistic.

I don't doubt the existence of these noises but until I hear them I can't decide if it's a viral marketing campaign, a copycat hoax or the real deal.

I'm one the fence with this at the moment, the above video only took me a couple of minutes to make in Windows Movie Maker and if I can do it that fast then it's easy to hoax and I'm sure if someone really invested more time into making a video like this then the results would be even better.

Just something to think about maybe?

This is my thoughts exactly, they tested the video portion of blue beam with all the weird optical phenomenon last year. Now they are testing the audio/microphone, that way when they go live later in the year, and cash in on the 2012 BS everyone will see them, and HEAR them.

Well I live in Middlesex county nj and there is a weird low rumbling at night. It almost sounds like rolling thunder but it is no where near as loud. It is not cars trucks planes or trains. There is no construction etc. It as been occurring for around 3 weeks off and on at night.

I think it has to be a radio signal coming in or going out to some unknown
