Has anyone thought about the sheer chance that the US troops have just been taken out of Iraq and now most of their equipmenta nd some personal are basically staged for the invasion? The US could go through Kuwait in a few hours under cover of dak and use a lighting strike to pierce Iraqi defenses?

This looks like a defeat to others while it could be just a ruse to redeploy troops for an attack?

Methinks that some sort of limpid type mine will soon be placed on the hull of one of the US ships, by the Mossad or CIA, and detonated to do some damage, but hopefully with no loss of life!

This will be the false flag event to justify taking military action against Iran.

Just throwing it out there...

when you flip it round it is scary, imagine Iranian ships getting close to america, and not normal ship but warships.
Hovering around on the edge of the acceptable line flexing their muscles.

Imagine if Pakistani planes were flying in and out of your country and dropped bombs on a US command post killing 24 US soldiers.

Flip things round and you really get to see how insane the US is

This is so silly. It reminds me of two brothers putting their hands within inches of each others face and saying "Don't touch me!", "I'm not touching you!", "You better not touch me!!". Until one touches the other and they start fighting.

I hate to break it to you, but it isn't one sided. Ahmadinejad wants nothing more than to watch the world burn.

Is the Western world openly vilifying Iran? Yes.

Is Iran fighting fire with fire? Yes.

I hate to break it to you but you know nothing about Ahmedinajad that you haven't been fed by the Western media.
It is not one sided. End of argument.

Yeah, but they couldn't have the standoff if the US hadn't placed a carrier group that has the firepower of some nations a couple of miles outside Iranian waters.

If you say so, guess I'll just have to believe you.

I'm not condoning the actions of either side. I am merely pointing out that this conflict is not one sided. Driving high speed boats around US warships, whether or not they have a "right" to be there, is antagonistic on it's face.

You would have to be a deluded fool to believe it is the MSM and the MSM alone that is perpetuating the image of a "crazed Iran".

There are no other logical suspects than the loudest enemies of Iran's nuclear progam, the JEWSA.

But then again, expecting yanks to use logic is like expecting girls to use force.

Agreed, but unfortunately that didn't work out for a couple of others recently.

It won't be long now when EVERY country in the world will need to kneel and bow to the mighty US of A!

Unfortunately, Americans have a really poor grasp of history - possibly because they have none.

We always see the worst excesses of an empire when they're on the verge of collapse. We're certainly seeing the American Empire's excesses right now, so the collapse is just around the corner...

This is a very serious threat that the US Navy faces, I shall attempt to show in this professionally drawn picture I have just knocked up whilst eating my dinner:

People just don't realise the dangers.

Well, the U.S. has covered 9,000 miles from home to claim authority on Iran's borders and internal affairs. Seems pretty one sided to any logical mind.

wow what an amazing reply, with such an amazing argument i guess everyone will have to agree with you now. What if i say it is one sided, end of argument, what would be your amazing response to that?

If Iran wants nothing more than to watch the world burn how come they haven't invaded anyone for hundreds of years? How many countries have the US invaded in the last 10 years?

Iran is waiting for an opportunity. They are waiting for the US' ego to get the best of it.

Action on the part of the US will further bolster their place on the #list of the rest of the World, and that is exactly what Iran wants. It is playing the US, and the US doesn't care, because it essentially polices the world. American exceptionalism.

The hypothetical conflict with Iran will be the straw that breaks the camels back. The catalyst. The spark.

On the same day, the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Adak was also harassed by high-speed Iranian Navy boats while operating 75 miles east of Kuwait City. Iranian personnel in the small boats appeared to be holding AK-47 rifles and at least one video camera, the official said. U.S. personnel on the cutter also reported seeing a forward gun that was manned on one of the Iranian boats, according to the official. Eventually, communications with a larger Iranian vessel in the area were established and the speed boats stopped their harassment.

US Coast Guard

they must really be short of ships to use the coast guards
there is something wrong with the picture
it doesnt belong in the ME

What is the meaning of bringing them there .. ?
