The Bavarian Illuminati were vehemently opposed the the Vatican, there was no bed-sharing occuring. I suggest you read Terry Melanson's book, Perfectibilists, which is the defintitive work on the Bavarian Illuminati and uses there actual correspodnece to support the findings.

This is patently untrue. There was much internal debate between Weishaupt, Knigge, Robison and Barruel on both religion and government with the later two inclined to destruction of the Church and State and the former two in favor solely of release from oppression and dictates. Read the book.

I realize this is an old thread, but the topic interests me as I have been wondering for quite some time.

In regard to the original website I believe that website is a bunch of bull, although it does raise a very good subject. After reading through some of the bologna on the site it makes me wonder if the creator has ever worked. Perhaps he was too busy smoking Marijuana to get up at six to do so. As soon as someone says "the rich are bad" without specifying what is meant, credibility is lost. A man who grows up poor and works his hands to the bone and builds personal wealth is not evil. The woman who knows the feeling of getting up at six to build a company and the excitement of working with people to build something together is not evil. The man who chooses to take from others under the guise of morality is evil. Governments are evil and the puppet masters that control them are evil. To take from the worker and to use people as slaves is evil. No human being has the right to own another, we are sentient beings that have a natural right to that sentience.

The underlying motion of my position on whether or not the Illuminati would be the good guys or the bad rests on the position that whatever truth the mass holds true is usually false. There are several things that are notable when looking at this position:

1. There would be no reason for bad guys to leave hints and warnings in films for people to pick up on. If the sun worshipers of the Illuminati were conspiring to kill the world and keep their position as the oppressors, placing hints in pop-culture would be pointless. On the flip side if you were a moral being and knew of something terrible, you couldn't just come out and say it. Lets imagine for a moment that someone knew of 9/11 and the strings the puppet masters were pulling. If someone knew of such things they could not come out and say that, if they did then the dates would just be tweaked to adjust to the widespread rumor.
2. The word Illuminati comes from Illumination; knowledge and wisdom. There have been quite a few posts on here in regard to Satan and how he is evil and a murderer according to known texts. There is no ancient text where the Satan of the bible does anything immoral. He is consistently branded as a horrible being yet all he did was give Adam and Eve wisdom and knowledge. He is the light bringer. In the context of reading religious texts through a different lens, it is easy to see that knowledge and the pursuit of inner truth is pinned "evil". Having choice, being free, being sentient, seeking truth outside of what is spoon fed are all areas that are consistently driven to the ground by religions. The bad guys in these texts are not the murderers or rapists but the sentient and rebellious. The truth seeker and light bearer is the bad guy. I am going to read the bible again just to see if there's any clues I missed in regard to this.
3. I think many will agree that there are a lot of films that have Illuminati and sun worship symbolism. In every film where it's found the themes of the movies could go hand in hand with the idea these are the good guys.

These statements allude to something else being in control and that the wealthy whom we attribute as the source of all actions/plans toward a one world government are really scapegoats, fall guys and vessels.

I just did a bit of research on the Vrill Society and Priesthood of Amen whom that article mentions as the culprits to what the "head" of the Illumanati (as we know it) are scared of and came across some MINDBLOWING stuff. Stuff I had suspected to some degree. I see now why this info had been deleted.

This is a mind f*ck. A new world order stopping an old world order that was really wanted to enslave us but the new world order wants to defend mankind secretly? Why would they want to do it secretly?

To avoid being targeted by the Old world order, duh. They still have most of the power, their only weakness is they can´t shoot straight without a clear and visible target.

My opinion is that it would be impossible to battle immorality without staying hidden. I've always thought of darkness as it exists for a child; the unknown space in the absence of light where it's impossible to ignore your thoughts(or fears). Silence and darkness are the only realms where reality and truth can be created. To present clues in the realm of shadows simply means that there is an understanding that shadows are the only place that truth can exist in a world of illusion.

Whoever started this thread is a completely Naive, blatantly Uninformed Lunatic!!! Seriously, it's SCARY to see people just get so far off from the truth because there are other people who hafto constantly add there own made-up B.S. to every story they hear and then OTHER people who believe everything they hear so before you know it, you got people running around making statements which contain 5% truth to them. It's like that experiment in 5th grade where the teacher lines her class up in a big circle and then whispers a secret to the kid next to her who then whispers it to the kid next to them and when it finally gets back to the teacher, shes never heard this versions secret before in her life!

I've always assumed the Illuminati are fine. Robert Anton Wilson and his "crowd" like them, and all the name means is that they strive for illumination of their own consciousness and of mankind's consciousness (just imagine the celebrations they had when electricity began to light the lights as well as to accelerate communication by an eventual factor of hundreds of thousands if not millions in the brief 140 years or so since). The "all seeing eye" is, of course, the eye of Horus which means both God's all seeing mind and our own part in that (if we are God, a portion of God, or just hanging around the edges, it's all good). Many of the other symbols represent high states of awareness and consciousness. That's just my opinion (imnho), of course. Whoops, the guys are starting up the initiation ceremony for the noob, gotta get my hood on and get over there before the best women have paired off.

If your statement is true whos to say the New World Order is just doing this out of their own secret agenda and not the people? since no one truely knows what the New World Order really wants to do
