Wow just wow... I saw a thread pertaining to it, and clicked it and the message came up right on que.

I thought some VERY sensitive information got out about UFO's or proof and the government was doing everything to stop it from getting out...

Yes, I didnt know what to think but its probably anti american propaganda. Th at would cause a major uproar and I cant see the american government being that stupid.

Wow I was genuinely SHOCKED and ANGRY at the U.S. Government until I realized the "what if".
Seriously people need to wake up about SOPA and any other internet censorship or legislation infringing upon our free speech.

SOPA is one of the worst things to happen to internet and web-based browsing. I am glad that ATS is standing up to this measure and protesting against censorship. The government really does so much to hide so many things and its scary how many people they have manipulated in society for their own greed and wants.

Well, nothing about that was pleasant at all...I didn't care for that one bit.

We got a quick bunch round here...ATS will lose half it's members because they'll think it's real



My only gripe is the "Click here to enjoy free speech" part, because well technically speaking, we don't have freedom of speech here and I'm not having a go at that either because I've defended ATS's method of moderation in the past...

It just comes off a bit misleading IMHO.

To be sure, I almost had an aneurysm when I thought that I was unable to access information on ATS. I quickly became bewildered, then angry, then felt helpless. Then I thought it through, and remembered...it's ATS, denying ignorance any which way necessary.

If only there was a way to do this on EVERY single website, SOPA would be a non issue.
