US Government Firewall Banning Notice on ATS

Just opened up ATS in my browser and never have I had a notice such as this...I should have screen printed it straight away.

It was a large full screen notice with the US Government seal on it stating that this website has now been blocked to all trying to access it care of the US Government Firewall or something to that effect.

Was only up for a second or two then continued on to ATS as per normal.

Anyone else come across this?

Isn't this the black out they were preparing to make us see what SOPA could do?

chill lol, I just got it too, it's obviously ATS content and it said something like what if at the top left.

Yes, it was a "This is what could happen because of SOPA!" message from ATS.

I saw it too, it lasted on my screen for roughly 10 seconds, starting at approximately 11:00 P.M. Central Standard Time. I was about to post a thread on it, but I saw that this one is up. Why would it last only 10 seconds, and be right on the hour?

That was NUTS...i experienced the same message. What was that? It mentioned it being seized by ICE and something about SOPA. Imma see if it happens again!

Yeah, as others have said it is just ATS showing what the future holds if SOPA passes.

Honestly, when it popped up i freaked out, lol.

Good thing i screencapped it and read the whole thing.

yup, i even posted a thread that was closed because i wondered what it was all about.
i instantly clicked on another page thinking it might be a virus or something.
made me think, for sure. can somebody post it here so i can read the rest of it?

For the next few days, this is our "semi-dark" protest for SOPA. Everyone coming to ATS (forum pages) will see the protest image once every 24 hours. The desired ATS content page still loads "behind" the protest image, so there should be minimal inconvenience for members.

and then got
"You do not have permission...."
