And who was behind that LBJ.The closest person to JFK and probably the goverment. CIA was probably behind it especially after so many people died so weirdly. LBJ was only 1 vote behind so i suppose thats one reason he wanted JFK dead and probably was offered a deal for not saying anything. Could a similar story happen with Ron Paul?

Anyone who doesnt vote for RP IMO must have some kind of psychological problem. RP is the only running candidate who is against tyrannical laws. Why one earth does anyone else actually vote for the others?
And the fraud being committed is beyond belief, and show democracy is totally dead in the USA due to a few corrupt people.

The police are damn useless, not giving a damn about tyranny. Its time to start new policeforce bSed on constitutional laws.

O man, I love Paul's plans as much as any sane man but that speech was atrocious. Just a random collection of one-liners with no build up and then screaming the last few words out loud so the audience knows when to cheer.

I know his strength partly comes from not being another slick, all-style-no-content politician but seriously, get this man a good speechwriter and a teleprompter.

Everything Ron Paul says sounds great but, once he's in office is when the circus comes out and the puppet strings get attached. See Ron run, see Ron jump, see Ron say what we want him to say.

As our freedoms erode, and what appears to be a bigger conspiracy to disarm and deny our constitutional rights against our will with 'Executive Privilege', I can not see how America would not overwhelmingly vote for Ron Paul ! I know there are those who are in bed with powerful people who are participants in the war industry, and those individuals are simply in it for the bucks or perceived power they believe they possess, and that those same people are grossly evil. Yet I can't see how any thinking American could or would miss this opportunity to correct the path America is headed in. Voting for anyone else will surely cause existing freedoms to be lost, and empower the evil perpetrated on the Citizens of the United States. How could you not vote for Ron Paul to champion the cause of the honest patriotic American Citizen? It's not too late, but even members here will decry Ron Paul as some imagined evil. You see where you are now, today, with the Obama admin. Surely there reasonable minds still left out there that can rectify these injustice's with their Vote.

Your off your head mate

This is a great speech, its the truth that strikes the biggest chord......Did you listen to what this man was talking about?

I am not sure you understand the reality of the situation, facing you, and me.

The USA Financial/Military/Industrial complex, has succeeded in:

Attacking your country, and killing 3000 innocents,

Using that incident as a pretext to invade far off lands, and kill upwards of 2.5 million (mainly civilians) Iraqi's , Afghan's, Pakistanis, and countless others.

Seizing the resources of said countries, and who knows what other possible wonder's, In the land of old.

Using the "threat" of the people they are dominating, to strip you of your Core Basic Rights .

And now they are legalizing mass round ups, of civilian's, by the military

They have been making threats "vanish", in the shadows for a very long time - the only reason for these bill's is to legalize it, so they can do it en masse.

And as I am sure you have seen on ATS, the SOPA legislation is threatening to derail our chance to network, and expose this plan for global dictatorship (and eventual Depopulation).

So you better stand up, and take your destiny back..........

Before its too late.

Repealing these acts would certainly be a great move in the right direction in concerns to our failing "democracy."

Are all those laws time-bound requiring periodic renewal? If not, to repeal an existing law, you need not just a President who feels they should be repealed, but a Congress that concurs. Repealing an existing law that has no expiration date is a legislative matter, not an executive prerogative.

Of course, as the head of the executive he can suspend the operation of those laws during his term, but nothing more.

so blatant

I guess if they would go to court the argument would be that they were not standing in a 'free speech zone' (free speech parking space) which of course is one of the most ridiculous concepts we have ever seen.

In the 80's I enlisted in the USAF, my father serving as a Colonel at the time swore me in and it was one of the proudest moments of my life and I went on to put in 10 years in service to my country. I took my oath very seriously to protect the constitution and the US against all enemies foreign and domestic and I still adhere to it as a decorated veteran. I served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, to liberate Kuwait in the early 90's.

My point is, that most politicians in Washington with the exception of Ron Paul are completely ignoring their duty and oaths of office by subverting the constitution with legislation like this and they should be professionally embarassed and ashamed not to mention summarily dismissed for not fulfilling their obligations in this regard. They, those curretnly sitting in government, would say that Americans like me and you are just dumb and that our opinions don't matter, they know what they're doing because of their records and experience.

Maybe I'm being idealistic by thinking that we should live free and the government should serve the people, isn't that what the constitution says and what "liberty" and "America" are supposed to be about? What's has been happening in our country now diminishes my service and sacrifices and the constitution in ways I cannot begin to explain I am thouroughly disgusted. Hopefully, more of the citizenry will step up to the challenge and make our convictions known at the polls by removing these jackasses and guiding America back on the path of prosperity.

This is why the most unconstitutional law is "Disturbing the Peace" - its the local version of NDAA. Rubio came out and said - don't worry about this, it only applies to those that support Al Qaeda.. The problem, Mr. Rubio is that it strips us of our right to due process, to a trial by our peers, and innocence until proven guilty. It allows WHO EXACTLY to determine someone as supporting Al Qaeda? Is telling people about encroaching tyranny disturbing the peace? Is telling a sheep that it needs to act more like wolves before it gets eaten by one, a form of terrorism?

I found out my senator voted for this and I sent my state party an e-mail letting them know that I won't be voting or supporting them ever again. I want to see the parties collapse.

God Bless and protect Ron Paul. After watching Judge Napolitano on a different thread last night I had to think about the very thin ammo his detractors have come up with. After the comparison it all seems so silly and trivial.

They might as well come out and say "Ron Paul is a good guy, and there is no room for his kind in the White House." After all, reading between the lines hands you that very same message anyway.

Ron mentioned the PATRIOT ACT being repealed. In truth we the citizens of the US had every right to expect the Judicial Branch of our Government to declare that act unconstitutional, The fact that they didn't shows that this Branch of the Government has been thoroughly compromised and corrupted. Maybe we'll see Napolitano in the Supreme Court soon. That is where he is needed, though I love that fact that he is the one voice of reason on FOX right now.

Until recent, I haven't given too much thought to Ron Paul. I've had many friends who adore him and have come across him here and there; it is priority to do some deep research on him. I am a very strong supporter of the United States and the Government which serves the people.

But.. what is most sad about this entire situation is what it doesn't matter if it's Ron Paul, me, you, his uncle, or her grandmother. They were allowed to be there. The people behind the curtains who "advise" our Government say yes or no to who will be among the few candidates among which we vote and get to pretend (which is a two way road but different topic) we elected. So sad.. It seems Ron Paul has been the "black sheep" of Congress, the Lone Fighter of Freedom and Truth among a Haven of Masterminds and Kings all this time; even blatant media censoring. Deny the People a proper President until the end, when the fan is already covered in the sheit and the people are calling for peace, justice, freedom, and the Constitution to be restored (which still won't solve the problem) - the Powers that Be present the long-desired, "Freedom Fighter" of the Common Man as elect for President with no media censoring, broad public support, almost national unity and desperation for getting things back to the way they were; easy, peaceful, safe, comfortable. So sad, we'll never know until it's too late.. . .

From here on, whatever happens, we can only hope that the Powers that be have our best interests truly at heart. I sure hope that yee, to the Powers that Be, can forgive thyself whence thine time comes and that you can accept my forgiving you for any mistakes, accidents or... mishaps and that we together; perhaps you as my teacher and I as your brother, but as equals, can build a great future, one in which all sins are deeply and long and truly forgiven and forgotten, and give this Universe a BANG like it hasn't known since the first big one it ever knew!!

I am not perfect but I do desire peace and unity. Hard as it may be, and I'd never suggest that a total restart from floor up involving all peoples, and any possible sentient life forms some claim to co-exist with us, on Earth recreate the structure of the society and world we live in instead of being so primitively driven, even if on accident, the entire past must be forgiven and agreed to be forgotten and a NEW beginning must take place. Guilty or innocent - perpetrator or victim - white or black - evil or good. This will have to be our first step whether publicly announced or internally reached upon in order to rebuild a world anything close to the perfect we all uniquely imagine; no grudges, inferiors, blasts from the past, slaves - TOTAL and ABSOLUTE informed and educated free will Mother Teresa once said something along the lines of, and don't quote me, 'to forgive evil for being or doing evil is what the definition of good is'. Please, forgive me for misquotes or misinterpretations.
**I imagine a world of peace and harmony. Of non-worry and ease; knowing that my efforts are fruitful to myself and all around me and that should I fall short for whatever or any reason, the pillar of the community is loving and supportive with a helpful, non-judgmental attitude. Free movement, speech, and thought. Education at it's known maximum is taught and learning is encouraged, supported, and provided for. Pursuit of mental, internal, and spiritual. is encouraged, supported, and if possible, provided for or assisted in. Where the right thing is the right thing, no matter how many people you can pay or scare into saying it isn't. And all this despite your race, species (long as you can think to a minimal degree), despite whether the best doctors say you have one day to live, whether you killed that person - we MUST find a way to heal our wounds, unite under a common belief in a fundamental Law of Love and rebuild our world with the strength and promise of Love.

You're preaching to the choir, mate. I fully agree with you and Dr. Paul. But it's not about what he says, it's about HOW he says it.

To reach the broader -uninformed- audience you need style. You need a certain showmanship. I don't agree with it (if I had my way TV would be banned from covering elections and we'd go back to radio to focus on content), but that's the way it is.

He needs to be more appealing, because at this rate if Paul becomes #1 it would be such a miracle I might start believing in a great screenplaywriter up above.

You're obviously very young and or have a very basic knowledge of past presidents...

You can't say ALL and include JFK in that blanket assumption!

BTW, last week here in New Zealand, our local city paper included a half page article, running Dr Ron Paul down...likening him to a GARDEN GNOME in the first paragraph!!!

It was an unbelievable attack on the man and his beliefs, and shocked me that this opinion piece even had a place in our region.

There's never been any doubt that our media here is as liberal dominated (and some evidence of being socialistic/communist), or even worse...in the pockets of the CIA.

I was damned angry after reading it!

Style Over Substance ? Really ? Ron Paul is running for the Hightest Office in our Land , not a Contestant on Dancing With The Stars . Maybe you should go back and Reevaluate what you have said here , the Fate of this Country is in the Voters hands Right Now.......
