At this time there is no archaeological evidence for races of 'Giants', there are human giants, men of large size and stature but not races of them. This issue comes up over and over again because of biblical belief and a refusal by some to admit to errors or mistakes in the bible.

Granites can turn into metamorphic rocks through metamorphosis.
Granites can turn into sedimentary rocks through erosion, but the granite itself doesn't magically become sedimentary.
Granites can turn into igneous rocks because they already are.

Geology is fascinating and it would be worth a number of posters' time to actually study some of the basics regarding ingenious, metaphoric and sedentary rocks.

Hmmm... That doesn't wash. When we're talking about things in specific weights and specific materials in conjunction with specific battles, these are not things of myth and legend.

And I don't think you've actually done your homework on this one either. There actually is quite a body of "evidence" indicative of populations of men of much larger stature peppered throughout many historical documents that are completely separate from the Bible. They also exist in the myths and legends of almost every tribe/nation on every continent. Where there is smoke, there tends to be fire. I'm just sayin.

Too funny - look at the criteria you have for evidence, apply it to both the evolutionist evidence and then the creationist evidence and then ask yourself which one seems more incredible.

Question everything. Take nothing at face value. Question methodology, underlying assumptions, statistical results, basis for conclusions, discussion of potential errors (if this is missing from any research paper, I don't care if the person is a PhD, the research is not credible). Look at what previous research the study is based on and ask yourself if it is an adequate foundation on which to go the next level of inquiry.

And I find it very hard, if not impossible to hoax the giant human/bipedal footprints found side by side in the same rock as dinosaur footprints down in Texas. Again, there is ample evidence if you don't dismiss anything that doesn't fit your preconceived notion of what is possible. Put yourself in a box and everything will tend to look like the box over time.

If you close your mind to all possibilities you will not follow where the evidence actually leads you.

Stories are just that stories until someone can produce say a 12,15,20,30 foot+ skeleton to back up the claims then it's a story.

We're all human so similar ideas would pop up round the world just like god(s) every part of the world has stories of creation of man,earth and the universe all can't be right BUT they ALL can be wrong.

If someone ever does unearth a giant skeleton,lets hope they find it in their own back yard,because if they find it just about anywhere else,they wont be able to bring it anywhere too far,without some group of "officials" showing up and threatening them with "laws they never knew existed" then taking the skeleton away,never to be seen again and most likely thats already happened with all kinds of bizzare out of place,out of time artifacts that people have found who were thoughtless enough to bring them to so called "officials"...

Yes that is the cliche excuse used to explain why such skeletons are never actually seen; yes some evil collection of the world gub'mints has been working tirelessly to hide them all - with 100% success world-wide and no one can even show or prove how they did it........

Actually, they can be. Take for example the image of King Arthur as a knight on a horse.

IF the real King Arthur lived, he lived during a time when hauberks and ring mail and boiled leather was the technology for making armor -- not plate metal. Excalibur would have been the size of a Roman gladius, not a longsword (those came well over 500 years later.)

Evidence isn't based on documents (otherwise we'd have to believe that Hogwarts absolutely exists and you can get to it by running into walls at a train station in England.)

We don't have graveyards of giants. We have thousands of Egyptian mummies, we have thousands of bodies from Peru, there are millions of graves in Europe and the Americas -- but no single city or graveyard full of people who wee mostly or only giants.

Only because giants, as we all know, eat their dead.
