I once joined a forum that spoke entirely in leetspeak.

Interesting, the leetest of languages are constantly evolving HTML5, C++, Javascript, but so does ATS so I feel at home, perhaps you will too

I know how you feel. I drove past a truck with a load of hay on it, I thought "should I?". I decide against it when I realised I need my legs for walking and well, just general legginess.

I hate Javascript it always makes me want coffee! I do some web design and I can code in HTML but I prefer to use the auto tools. I'm just seriously lazy and they are there. If I don't have to take the time to close tags well.... know what I mean? Thanks for the welcome!

@ALOSTSOUL: LOL its funny you should mention hay. 3 weeks ago I was out with my dad in law and we rounded a bend on the way home and there was hay all over the place. He suddenly shouts "HEY! GET OFF THE ROAD!" My cheeks still hurt from laughing...and yeah I don't live near any places there would be hay but I have eyeballed some flowerbeds which must look really funny to anyone watching me...

I'm still waiting for the first Canadian ATSer to make a tinfoil hat into the shape of a moose for the ATS Tinfoil Hat Competition.

I would do it myself but my hands are currently preoccupied with holding bacon in one and a donut in the other, while my nose types this out.

I live in a nation that IS a string of volcanoes popping out of the ocean.

My house is surrounded by them and my workplace is overshadowed by a big one.

Some of them are still active and I can smell sulfur at various times, in various places.

For the most part, though, things are stable and safe. The volcanic hot points are two hours drive away.

All I have to say is this:

1st: I gotta hand it to you Canadians for perfecting Canadian Bacon. That's why we call it that. Now hickory smoked bacon I will leave up for grabs, but I'm pretty sure Americans did that first.

2nd: We perfected Donuts here in North Carolina...we call it Krispy Kreme

3rd: This has been one of the best written introductions of the year....I know the year is only 6 days old, but I already like you and am looking forward to your posts.

@PublicEnemy: Ooohhhh I have a tshirt that confirms it. I got in trouble for wearing it to work one day so I secretly wear it around the house and theres nothing they can do about it! I dont really like zombies either I mean, not in the sense that I would invite one to lunch. I like the concept of them and I dont know why. Maybe its because they are seriously scary to me and thats thrilling. I say..I mean I say I have never had Popeye or Foghorn Leghorn on my pizza before but I think that cartoon food would be a huge market here. O_o

But dont listen to me, I walked up to the thermostat and saw "70" and thought that I had lost 80lbs...I freaked out.


Btw I'm a huge Twilight Zone fan but I really miss Night Gallery. RIP Rod.

Oh they are sugary!

If anyone has not had a Krispy Kreme donut, just imagine a donut dunked in sugary syrup. The Krispy Kreme stores here even have a lighted sign on top to let you know when a new batch has been completed and is still hot so you can stop by and get a nice warm syrupy donut just out of the fryer.
