think about the tsunami and the huge earth quake it is possible for natural desauster to obliterate the earth (sorry cant spell)

This is just my opinion.

People are going to understand certain things that are long forgotten. And if it goes the way I suspect it goes, common problems in our society will cease to exist.

People will realise:

1. That they are creators and that everything that happens in their own life is the product of their thoughts and feelings.

2. That they're all one, and part of the same being/consciousness. Individualism is actually an illusion.

3. And that's there more than enough resources for life for everyone, so there's no need for greed or other self serving behaviour.

Going a little bit further (and you may call me crazy for this): I've read that telepathy will not be unusual, and that privacy will cease to exist, because everyone will be able to read everyone elses mind at will. So again there will be no place for dishonesty, conspiracies, greed and other self serving behaviour. All people will be equal.

But of course I can be wrong...

Good points and I happen to agree. However, there is a big difference between "realizing" and changing. Again, I go back to the addict. He may realize that yes.... "And that's there more than enough resources for life for everyone, so there's no need for greed or other self serving behaviour" etc, but that doesnt help deal with the phsysical dependence. Sure they may want to check into rehab and clean up... but chances are an addict off the streets will not have the resources or self motivation to clean up...

It seems that you and me "realize" what is to come... we know our truths. ARe we on th epath to enlightenment? I believe so.... but that hasn't stopped me from accidently yelling at my kids when the puch my patience... I want to stop "freaking out" I know its wrong.. but that doesnt make it easy to change.

But ultimately I agree. I will not wait for this global enlightenment to happen... we all have it in us... rather than wait I chose to be proactive about it. I'm sure you are doing the same.

It might be the end of the world, yet it might not. Things are leaning that way though, alot coincide with that date.

Just because the Mayans stopped making more calendars does not neccessary mean time will end at where ever they left off.

For those of us who believe in the John Titor person ( person that time traveled from the year 2036) then that must mean the end of th world would not end in 2012.

humm are there any websites or threads that talk about what have the Mayans predicted and actually came true?

Also what ever happened to them? Did they all just dissappeared one day?

Aliens abducted them?

What happened/!??!?!

Does anything happen in the year 2012? I've heard stories about the world ending.

Why does he want to surprise us on this significant detail. He's already said too much which could alter his future existance. World War III starts around 2015 but has no relationship to the 2012 event then what could it possibly be. Does the earth crack open and part some sea?

Nothing happened to them. They are still down there. Go to Cancun or Playa and look around. The Mayans never left, they just changed adapted and were assimilated by other cultures.

I've noticed people saying, things such as, "If they were so smart, how come they couldn't predict the fall of their culture?". Easy answer... their predictions seem to be based on advanced math and science having to do with space and the planet, not with the things on the planet. The only way they could have predicted their fall would have been if something was going to happen to the planet that would cause their destruction.

2009 called me last night and said it feels left out with all this dooms-day talk and nothing about it. So I decided to write a book, solely based on the events to come in 2009. Then people can use that as "proof" to whats to come in the future and post from it. STOP IT! If someone writes a book, BIG DEAL? What have they predicted before? Poop and some more poop. Am I the only one that is fed up with this? I want to read about interesting theories from people who have credibility.

Could someone tell me if there is anyone alive today with any creditials? If so, what are his/her views on 2012 (or 2006,7,8,10,11,13, etc... based on it's view)

Well, if it is some sort of earthly rotation cycle, maybe its connected also to tectonic plates and earthly shifts... My bet is on a cataclysmic natural disaster, like a volcano or earthquake...

2012 will be the end of the zodaic signs we travel through..at the end of each one the world does experience a great catylsm...the sign of the holy cross...astrological alignment aligns itsself true noth and south...every 28,ooo and some oddyrs..it does a full turn...

this causes a great rift...we will flop..the earth will turn ..this is a time of great transition...tsunamis will sweep across the lands...mountains will fall and rise,new vallies made and ocean bottoms revealed again..

dont worry yourselfs..some of us will survive..there is no preperation for this...
the world as we know it will cease to exist and the zodiac will start again..from the first one..
about the fourth dimension..we are nothing but energy vibrating..we vibrate at the same frequency of the earth..you can move beyond this frequency through a rigerous path of enlightenment and rise above...but the way we live and the fear and reward and suppression systm and our domestication process keeps us at the same or lower frequencies..
leave the pain and suffering of being human aside..live in the momment and you will fid the way..

hey if another country had the knowledge and the bombs..they could wreck the usa..by dropping a bomb across the atlantic..drop some islands into the water which would cause a 200 ft.tsunami that would wash across the usa..to the rocky mtns.base..most land would be covered..i think if you were above certain levels you may be allright..but as we know what happens after words is not to good..

hey i would be more worried about the new flu that is going to wipe out 100s of thousands of us..and it is coming..joy joy..id rather see the mtns fall and rise..that would be more interesting..to see a mtn.form in seconds..

Did anyone catch the History Channel last night (03.20.05)?

It had a program on the Bible Codes, and it said that Earth will be annihilated by an asteroid in 2012.

Is this a strange coincidences or what?

There is a lot of evidence to support the code works.
