Now the reason I am posting all this on ATS is, I believe HIV/Aids is a man made virus. I think it was either a weapon the government have produced to kill mass populations, or is part of the global population control conspiracy, or was produced by the medication industry to keep feeding their profits from the pills they have to make.
********************************************************************************************************************

Think about this for a minute. If it were an agent to infect and decimate the population, it's distribution and access to victims would not be very effective towards the masses. It only addresses a small section of the population. If it were a disease to de-populate, it would be better suited if it was spread by more diverse interactions so as to have the most numerous and significant distribution per capita. The current transmission is sorely lacking if it was meant to be a pandemic, thus I doubt it was as you suspect, a government depopulation conspiracy.

Sir. I don't have HIV. I simply seem to be prone to mycoplasmic infections that zero in on my lungs.
(I could very well have been born with it, I dunno. I just may be naturally puny immunity wise.)

I'm sorry to say I'm with monkeyboy on at least one thing. I was born in the sixties. Ten rounds by 25, I'd consider normal. Now, in this day and age, I find out I'm rough trade, after all these years of being normal.

Either that, or I'm surrounded by prudes.

I take my hat off to you for having the balls to post your story here.
Personally I cannot believe that some people instantaneously are concerned if they have to pay for your care.
Even if you'd be someone who hasn't paid a dime you should get medical care.
That's how my country handles it, and it has it's back covered by the citizens, I say this with pride.
I wish you all the best for your future, and as dannotz said, don't be so ready to die.
And please do not take medical advice from the people here.

Im a religious man but I think it is awfful for anyone to tare into anyone who has to suffer and endure anykind of frightning illness .Im 43 and have had to deal with back issues ,surgeries ,worry, dispear. Life is tough and raw sometimes and the more I receive a nasty sucker punch from reality, the more I find comfort in the fact that death from this place is a blessing.

This is to reply to the original writer, look we all have a limited time here, life is hard ! But I personally find peace knowing death is as natural as anything not manmade. Everysingle human being is in the same boat, the judgements people give seme so worthless, the great wisdom people seem to think they have unfortunately pass away with all there belongings in a short 30 or 40 years from now.

I think our real understanding of all of this insane unknown reality we pop into here in this world, is just the pre-cursor to the truth of our existance which probably starts when we die.

Doesnt make much sence for our existance to just be born into this world not knowing where we came from and taken from this world, not knowing what happens next . Why would the creator of all this natural beauty and wonder, not talking of man made creations and knowledge, why would He create all this earth, designed for are pleasure and survival to be here , and not have a plan after the flesh dies.

People rant and rave and offend and persicute and judge and find falt ,,ect, ect I find a person wiser when he can accept every human being , God didnt make a lot of little gods . I dont reply often here ,actually just joined up a couple weeks ago. But Im losing interest pretty fast reading .

So Ive just ranted and raved myself but I wanted you to here my message that you might pick out a couple things in it to gain some real comfort. Our comfort probably starts the moment our souls leave these painful reched bodies, my phisical pain is here to stay to endure the remaining years.

I think the main idea of the OP was not to discuss his health but rather to discuss whether or not HIV is manmade.

I just find it too hard to believe with all the money and research gone into finding a cure or vaccine that we are still no closer to finding one.

Comments and questions are all welcome

So many of the replies have been about telling him to stick in there etc which was not the idea of his posting?

In which case there was no need to go into chapter and verse - simply pose the question. It is not surprising that the issue got lost. For the record (and to keep on topic) I don't know. But personally I don't think it's a plot to decimate civilisation. Simply because governments have much more effective forms of bio terrorism available to them.

I guess this is the outcome from having sex with a man with no protection? Very wise to stop taking the medication, it will kill you faster. I recommend just using Medical Marijuana and a condom for now on. Do some research on RH negative type O blood and transfusions of it as well. I promise it will keep you alive longer, and keep you feeling healthier. Lots of Vitamin C as well my friend, everyday
LOTS! GOOD LUCK...!!

First, let me tell you how sorry I am for your diagnosis and for everything you've been through. The scary thing about Aids is its cunningness. Dying of cirrohsis of the liver,, for example, can be prevented by not drinking alcohol, whereas sex is a normal and natural part of life. One episode of unprotected sex can be deadly---and it can happen to anyone. It is just unlucky and I'm sorry this has happened to you.

Please allow me to throw in my thoughts here.

You've been through a lot physically and when our bodies are taxed in such a way, we are bound to be depressed, to feel as though we want to give up. We are just plain tired and our will to live can be weak.

But you are only 25 years old and have so much to live for. I know you're not afraid of dying now, but I think your submission to death is premature. Who knows how much you have to add and give to this world!? How do you know your story is over? What if you got up tomorrow and renewed your will to live? You could have countless years ahead of you.

The AIDS drugs are so sophisticated now--some in the medical field believe that these drugs are actually a cure in some cases. PLEASE do your research! Spend days on the Internet researching. Talk to medical researchers and others in the gay community who are living---yes living-with this disease. There has been so much headway made with this disease.

Side effects are horrible yes, but the body does adjust. It may take a year or two, but you will eventually adjust to the drug cocktails that are available for this disease and cope with the side effects much better. You just have to be willing to endure the pain and unpleasantness until your body adjusts to these drugs.

Learn meditation. Seek out spirituality. Find something to live for. Read books written by Aids survivors. Join a support group. Believe in miracles! Know that your life is worth something---that you are too young to throw in the towel like this.

Be strong! Yes, it is a difficult world, and so we need all the lights we have to shine on. We need you OP.

Please feel free to PM me if you like.

I want you to fight. I want you to believe that there is something greater worth living for.

My brother died at 33 of AIDS related pneumonia and we did alot of research into it. It was a sad and terrifying time for everyone because my brother was also mentally ill to the point where he was violent and looking to spread the virus on purpose. We happened upon info regarding bio-oxidative therapy. While I cannot attest that these therapies for AIDS and cancer actually work, from what I read it sounds pretty promising but my brother would never even look at it. I think its worth researching.

My father used a version of the therapy on his eczema which was pretty bad on his legs and it disappeared within a few days. That I can say I witnessed.

Check it out at your leisure: "http://www.stopcancer.com/aids&cancer01.htm" (Sorry link wouldnt work, just copy and paste to your browser without the quotes.)

The site is fairly rudimentary but I promise you that the information is interesting. Waves Forest (the reporter who came across all of this information) apparently received lots of threats for publishing this info which is totally believeable because if you think about it, it could put many people and companies out of literally billions of research dollars. If AIDS and cancer is cured, there is no need for all that grant money anymore. Its more profitable for the diseases to be incurable isn't it.
