Yes, it could go that way.

Depends on the judges. Depends on whether they have a good understanding of what the founders were thinking when they wrote what they wrote.

If you ask the average guy on the street we have all somehow been trained to think he need only be born here.

There are five separate cases with five separate judges that are trying cases.

Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp's office is pursuing FIVE separate ineligibility complaints filed by Georgia residents. Each complaint argues that Barack Hussein Obama II is ineligible to appear on the 2012 Georgia Presidential ballot. Secretary Kemp has assigned 5 different hearings under five different judges, so that the complaints can move forward.

I think he only has to appear at the one.

The judges hear the cases, then make a recommendation to the Sec of State as to how he should rule.

That is called court shopping and anyone familiar with legal proceedings could explain to you why posting it as if you are proud of it is so funny. This is what happens when your complaint has no merit or legal standing. It is what is known as an act of desperation.

Let me ask, if these court cases finally decide that...oh nevermind. I have asked this before and been told an answer before and the birthers just move the goal posts anyway.

I think we are all pretty sick of it dragging on.

But you must admit, never gotten to court before. If you read the entire piece it says the Secretary used 5 different judges to be fair. But one guy, the sec of state makes the call, stop or go for Georgia. Other states may choose the same route.

If you are really familiar with the facts of the case you must realize why people remain unconvinced. If not I encourage you to read, at least the posts that are starred and become familiar with what is known.

Only the court can settle this, might as well do it now. I don't think it can be appealed. Not a regular trial.

The list is frankly a "birther's" dream. Unlike previous cases, where only certain documents were requested or discussed, this subpoena issued by Judge Malihi includes every document that serious eligibility experts have been discussing from the beginning. The list requires Obama to produce each of the following:

Any and all certified birth records including a long form birth certificate.
Certified school/university registration records. Certified immigration/naturalization records.
Certified passport records
Redacted certified Social Security card applications for each of the aliases and other legal names used by Barack Obama, including but not limited to his legal surname when adopted by step-father Lolo Soetoro
In addition, Judge Malihi has reportedly also subpoenaed Hawaii Health Department officials and commanded them to produce an original certified copy of Obama's long form birth certificate.

I wonder if birthers are ever going to notice all the white guys currently running for president with not birth certificates presented yet. I am sure birtherism has nothing to do with race. It is just a coincidence that the one black guy needs to prove and prove and prove he was born in HI but none of these old white guys need to prove anything anymore. It is really more complicated then just the BC issue.

Had you read all the posts you would know about Art II, which implies if Mom and Dad were not citizens, he is not a natural born citizen. Born here, Both parents citizens. That is what it means.

And he knows this, because he was a professor of constitutional law. And that is why he is trying to stay out of court. The judge really knows this, because he is the judge.

In the end if people are ignorant, it does not matter. All that matters is the judge, and what he knows about what the founders wrote, and why they wrote it (King George and all that).

Actually it matters to me because I already know how it will turn out and I think it is a crime that birthers would waste public time and money on it anyway. If they were not so ignorant, we could use that time and money for something useful and that matters to me.

That is the most oddly placed and poorly put personal insult I have ever received. I understand the concept just fine. Unfortunately, there is no smoke here. There are videos on YouTube RIGHT NOW that show both he AND his wife stating that he's Kenyan. His grandmother states she was at his birth, in Kenya. His college records are sealed. Ironic, isn't it, that he's tried so hard to hide everything about his past! He even calls himself Kenyan, and so does his wife. He's made mistakes talking about his own supposed history, and people that attended the college he supposedly did have no memory of him at all. Two different hospitals named, then records changed. The laws concerning birth certificates in Hawaii changed. The way SSN are assigned changed. Records sealed. Even hints that his mother wasn't pregnant that summer. Then there are the years of dodging the issue in the courts. Well, according to what he said (and you can see that quote on video), he's hiding something. What, I don't know, but something!
