Even if we kick them out of office the corruption won't end. The only thing that will happen is that the current puppets won't be on the payroll, and some new puppets will take their place. We need to restructure our government entirely, set up new, immaculate foundations and begin rebuilding our once great and respectable nation.

Seriously though, the more of these laws they pass the more they show what their true intent is - to rule us all by decree (those still alive anyway).

IMO it's the government that is seeking to overthrow the people.

What I am getting from all of this is if you are in anyway associated with being a terrorist against the US, even if you are a citizen, you can be prosecuted as such and lose your citizenship.

I'm having a hard time finding a problem with that.

On another note, I also feel that anyone that leaks classified information, should be brought up on charges of treason. But that's just me....

this does nothing but justify what they have already been doing for the past 10 years, it seems they are giving officers and border patrol the legal support theyve been hounding after since DHS went all darth vader!

at first look it is not that bad , but then once you see it as it could be used, protesters and ones that go on strike could be deemed as such, and spend a long at Git mo. free speech is also at risk, for what you say could get you a one way trip to Git Mo not to mention all the amendment this over rides

the words hostile and belligerent, when was the last protest you had seen were this was not the case nor a strike , or a post where one did not lose his her cool now and then. I have many a post stating this. the words are just to open to Interpretation, not everyone will have a copy of the "law of war" in their pocket a drunk could be listed as belligerent, especially if he /she is anti war.

There is differences in the definitions.

There is hostile and belligerent, where it pertains to war and weapons of war,

Then there is hostile and belligerent pertaining to persons anger and desire to fight.

I can see your point. Maybe we should be contacting our reps to ensure the wording is based on war and weapons of war and that changes be made to reflect that.

I think congress and the administrations over the last decade have already done that, and should be put on trial for treason, but how do you get that to happen? Congress and the President exempt themselves from being brought up on charges of any wrong doing while in office. It is something that needs to be changed. Those that have committed crimes in office need to be prosecuted! (that would be both Dems and Repubs).

I believe the point is they can make you a person with no country and then can do anything to you they want. If they don't do that I guess they'd have to stick people in a rowboat or something. But as I said I think it's use is to more effectively take control of/ make disappear the people they want.

All the more reason not to engage in treason

If youre a traitor you should be deported if you werent born here, back to wherever you came from and if you were born here you should be imprisoned. When you raise your hand and swear an oath of allegiance to the U.S. of A you are conciously making the decision to turn your back on your former country and its ways, if you cannot do that and you become a traitor then you should be returned to wherever your lying self came from.

Far as I am concerned no true american citizen would even have a probelm with this issue. Prove yourself unworthy and you can go back to whatever hole you crawled out of.

i can understand stripping someone of their citizenship if they were born outside the country and became nationalized, but how can you strip someone of their birth right.

you'll be making that person stateless.

The problem is that who is classified as a terrorist these days is pretty willy-nilly. The definition is very open-ended, so any behavior that some random government official doesn't like can get you branded a terrorist and stripped of your citizenship.
