Latest UFO Sightings - This footage of bright unknown object flying in the sky above North Hollywood in California. Recorded on Wednesday, 28th December 2011.

Well I watched this video and was quite intrigued by it so I had to bring it here and get others opinions...

I am sure the usual 'it's a weather balloon' will come up but I cannot see this being a weather balloon. Although I have been proved wrong before.

Anyway, for those that cannot view the video, the video is a guy filming the sky (
) and he sees a multicolor translucent UFO. It appears to change shape and continue to reflect all colors, I say reflect, as it is not producing the colors, and blinks at times. It doesn't appear to be moving, if it is, it's very slow, in relation to the power line by it.

It's an interesting video and cannot wait to hear others opinions.

Any thoughts?

Pred...

Looks metallic.
Looks reflective.
Looks like a clump of orbs.

I'm going with balloons, metal, grouped.

Unless it shoots across the sky, suddenly stops, makes a right angle high speed turn, etc,
it's balloons.

It looks like something metallic floating/tumbling .. but I'm really not sure .. not clear enough to be definitive

Where's Phage? Looks too bizarre to look like balloons to me I think.

I full screened it, looks strange, especially how it disappears every now and then, the glowing looks just as much as lights as it does sun reflection to me.

That sounds a little ignorant don't you reckon?

He's kinda right though .. unless it demonstrates some sort of intelligent flight then it's really difficult to say it's anything other than something floating.. it could be a cluster of shiny balloons that you find at an amusement park where you only see the bright flash depending on it's rotation.. could be 3 or 4 of them loosely tied together just drifting along.

You can't really say.. but as he pointed out, if it darted out at a high rate of speed or made some kind of unusual shift in direction, then it would be more impressive.. ALL we have on this video clip is something ( or things ) shiny that appears to be floating.... sadly that's all we can actually say about it

I've watched this guy's videos over the past few years. To me it looks like a mylar balloon or something. In general the videos he posts are shot from the same location, during daytime, objects look be moving in the same directions in each video (wind).

Go with a tied up bunch of mylar highly reflective balloons. They catch the sun with a blinding reflection, tumble like balloons and are at a constant slow speed carried by the wind.

That's precisely what my opinion is at this point.

Something like this?

Poot, the UFOs didn’t show up as promised. Well, except for some escaped mylar balloons in NYC apparently. Yes, the aliens cleverly disguised their spacecraft to look like balloons, then brainwashed some hapless human into thinking they had lost some balloons. All part of the alien’s diabolical, and frankly, inexplicable plot. Bottom line is, I have seen and heard enough about UFOs. There has been the occasional intriguing anecdotal report, and aliens are permissible in the sense that they are certainly possible. There just hasn’t been a case that has yielded clear unmistakable evidence of extra-terrestrial intelligence. If a truly intriguing UFO case pops up, or is suggested to me, I’ll revisit the issue. Until then, there’s a whole universe of other mysteries to explore.

It looks like it has lights of it's own that are flashing in an unconventional fashion... doesn't look anything at all like balloons or sun reflection... zoom in real close it has structure to it, but to me it doesn't look anything like those mylar balloons...

I don't know what it is, but it doesn't look like anything that should be there....

I've seen this... over and over and over again... It's tumbling mylar balloons. It looks like there is 3 of them. I recognize the tumbling balloons like I recognize my own face.

Here is an some mylar balloon tests:

(the second video is best)

If the guy who made the above videos used the all silver balloons, tied them a lot closer together, had a better camera, and did it when the sun was a little bit lower in the sky, it would look exactly like the video in the OP.

Yet another test... I know some of you will say they don't look exactly the same.. well I know that, I am never going to find a video that uses the same camera, same settings, at the same time of day, with the same balloons, tied in the same fashion, at the same altitude... You have to use your imagination, hopefully you are good at that.

If your first sentence is actually a question, then yes, balloons can appear to pulsate to an observer on the ground. If some balloons are far away, your perception of them depends on the amount of light that they are reflecting towards you. The amount of light that is reflected towards you can vary with varying orientations. As a balloon moves with the wind, it's orientation will vary. Therefore, the amount of light reflected will vary.

Yes, honestly.

take a look at 1:50 - 2:00. Its weird how a glare moves to the right like he is doing something behind glass. Just throwing that out there. Remember UFO doesn't always mean alien. Could be some military testing. I still cant figure out why with all of our technology there is only one video of this. Nice find

I dont think its ballons. Its also hard to trust. I find it intresting how so many people turn to logic when they are witnessing something that does not fit in our reality. Concidering the enomally is behaving illogical I will call it a UFo, why not, its weird looking. I doubt its ballons look at it again..
