The government wouldn't take my guns because i don't have any and I probably would attempt too resist because if they came for me the government would start too turn into a dictatorship.

why does the govt know you have a gun(s) when you can buy used from private owner, no paperwork, no waiting period, pay cash. besides govt gun confiscation will create a larger blackmarket, people will be making homemade zipguns etc the tighter they squeeze the nets the bigger the holes get

Talk to some swat guys and ask them what they're wearing for body armor. They have no clue how crappy it is. The guys in Orlando are wearing a 2A vest over a 3A vest thinking that makes a level 3. If it comes to that, it's going to be bad for both sides.

we are the government here...in the USA. Remember November 2010 the House got swept next we have the SENATE & the presidency. Sen. Mark Udall has a petition on his website that we can sign Dated November 28th..he wants to change the language on the NDAA BILL that B.O. Signed ....THIS BILL BASICALLY names the whole country as a ''battlefield'' .....with severe indefinite consequences for terrorists....but what is the definition of terrorists to our government? Charlton Heston had it correct...''out of my cold dead hands''. I took the oath to uphold the constitution and to defend her from ALL ENEMIES foreign and DOMESTIC....if the Government wants to try and take my guns they better be prepared to foot the bill for my funeral because it is not going to happen with out some body going down.....most of our armed services feel the same......I DO NOT THINK THAT THE MILITARY WOULD FOLLOW B.O. AGAINST THE CITIZENS.....WE DO NOT TRUST HIM.

Speak for yourself, Vitch.....I will resist. Lots of people do, everyday. Sure, you might get a broken leg, black eye or bloody nose, buts what's worse? Going wilingly....not gonna happen. Especially if a loved one is threatened.

How many could you plug with that glock before they took you down?

I have no gun for them to take, but that wouldn't stop me from defending my home. I used to play baseball, so I can swing a bat pretty well. I will lose that battle if it ever happens, but they will have to work for their meal.

IF the government ever tried to pull as stunt like that I have frag grenades and some AK-47's to mow them down with before they take mine!

They will face a non-felonious US tax payer with a copy of the constitution of the United States taped to my chest and two AK-47s (one with grenade launcher)with extra extended clips for main heavy action, with 2 glock 30s (.45 cal) tucked nice with my fully AR-15 strapped on my back and 4 frags ready to die for mine!

I'm sorry but I have to correct you... it's not that there aren't enough ressources, it's all about how they are distributed.

Second, and this is just an opinion, but I strongly believe that no good can come from guns....... feel free to disagree.

I believe you are right and the reasons for giving up a way to defend ourselves against a tyrannous and oppressive government go way beyond what you have stated! I see there are those on here that are still unsure
whether our government is oppressive and to me this just states either wishful thinking or denial! When TSHTF
people will not do anything but sell each other out to survive! Most of us will do whatever it takes except band togeather against TPTB! We will fight, rob and kill each other to get what we need! Remember the fear level will be higher then most of us have ever had to deal with! With that level of fear we will make poor choices, we will maybe trust the wrong people or maybe not trust anyone! One of the biggest problems we have right now is our addictive nature! We live our lives in a deluded illusive dream believing we need material things, believing wealth will satisfy our every whim, that's until we get there and then it's never enough! We are a confused people and we will never see the truth even when it's about to destroy our very lives! I see our future slipping away and there's no way to shed the blinders off everyone's eyes! We have this deluded idea that we are safe for whatever reason but this is just an illusion, just like the illusion of ownership cause the truth is we never really own anything, just like we never can be free until we shed this material world! Though I don't ever see the majority buying into this truth! We will come to another crossroads very soon just like we did in 2007 with the Real estate market failure! I expect this to happen over the first Quarter of 2012! Though don't quote me on this cause this is just an edjucated guess! I really don't expect the US government to go after all two hundred million guns and it would make more sense for them to just shut down all the power and go underground! Once this happens, I would expect them to release whatever biological disease that is most deadly! I really don't know what will happen but them going door to door to take away our guns and then sticking us in FEMA camps! Well I can't see this happening. Whomever survives this fatal disease will not survive the clean up effort when TPTB come back to the surface! you see these people would all be carriers of this disease and deadly to Those who were kept safe from it! I don't expect any of this to happen until the economy finally falls apart! I wish i was wrong but it is coming and it's just a matter of when it starts! God Help Us When It Finally Does ! ! ! !

When "they" come for my guns, I will die with them in my hands, the discharge having found several targets before my demise. "Fighting for What You Believe In" . If there is nothing you would die for, why do you live?

Maybe I will die, but so will many of "them". Victory manifests itself in the fear their buddies willl have the next time they try to take away someones constitutional rights. And each time as more and more of them fall at the orders of their masters, they will realize things. One, that people will still lay down their lives for their beliefs. Two, even the soldiers of tyranny will not be safe from their own actions. As they continue to see the familys who become broken because of the actions of men who would try and step on another mans freedom, they will remember their own families at home, and whether or not they will see them at the end of this day with all the guns they have to take away.

Do not fear death, you will die with dignity in honor fighting against tyranny. I will fight and die so that my children will know a man with conviction, and that they too will know it in themselves.
