I respect your opinion but before making broad unbacked claims in a matter of fact, you should research the subject because you are utterly wrong. I Corinthians 6:9

Note that homosexuals are not singled out as "worse" than other sinners. All of it is lumped together. So you're QUITE wrong, however people's judgement/condemnation of homosexuals while they have they're own sins in the closet is hypocritical and completely anti-Christian doctrine as well, just like telling people that the Bible "isn't really against homosexuality... its all good."

I will admit that I don't understand homosexuals that attend church regularly but have NO desire to "not" be gay. That's like attending AA knowing you have no intention or desire to stop drinking. I'm looking at it like this, I know from experience that at least some of the sinners want to change; stop gambling, stealing etc.. is it common for homosexuals to wish they weren't gay? (for reasons not based on the public opinion) I've never met/heard of a homosexual saying "I want to change this because its not how I really want to be."

Sorry for double post, but I realized I missed somthing.

And about the "genes" - you may have "strange" feelings about a man, but that doesn't mean you have to live them out (you do not HAVE to have sex with him).

I do not react at all. And I do not freak out. I just can't say I wish to see it.

In fact, being religious is being humble and MODEST - so, we should not WATCH anyone when they kiss. What a husband and a wife do, is their intimate, private time, which they share with themselves - it should not be done in public - thus, no way for us to watch it.

I don't think most people who own a Christmas tree, put up their decorations for the 25th, and go mad crazy buying pressies for family and friends care about religion at all. I don't know anybody like that.
The most religious thing I ever did at Christmas was sing carols at school.

Great memories. Got 20p for the collection box and we'd change that and stick a penny in, spend the rest on sweets.

Christmas is about presents and having a posh dinner once a year. It cheers you up, gives everyone something to look forward to in the middle of winter (ooh, how pagan). If you're religious, no offence intended.

As for gay people, they can do that too, can't they? And people with one leg. And folk who knit and like jigsaws.

The point, which many seem to not understand, is when one does whatever his impulses tell him to.
You may have an impulse to steal something, or kill someone - but you are not accountable for those impulses, unless you ACT upon them.

So, you may have a desire for men, but that doesn't mean you have to submit your will to your desire. You should only submit your will to God.

But, as science shows, it is not conclusive that the biological cause is the only or the main one for homosexuality - there are many other causes, or an intermix of them, from environmental to social, etc.

The premise stays: Just because God gave you exceptional beauty, that doesn't mean you have to be immoral and pose naked for Magazines, or star in porn movies.

What you do with your desires is that which defines a believer and a non believer. And do not forget that there is the Devil, who is CONSTANTLY fighting humans and tempting them to renounce God - so even those "homesexual" feelings might not be so strong as you think - but they are enlarged and encouraged by the devil - who will try to seduce you to do something against God - this is valid for heterosexuals too, don't get me wrong.

It is the devil who pushes men to cheat on their wives. He does not FORCE them, he merely enhances their desires - and whether you sucumb to your dosires or not, defines whether you take them (the desires) as your God or not.
Because at the end, God or Lord, does not mean anything else, but the entity to whom you submit your will.

The atheists, in this context, are not really Atheists, they are Theists - because they take themselves as their God.

yes, there is not a "Your gay and your not" gene, but there IS several traits and genes that GREATLY influence sexuality.

Did you know that while a straight males brain is asymetrical, and a straight womans brain is symetrical; a gay males brain is symetrical and a lesbians brain is asymetrical. Thats not a choice.

Or what about the study where sweat samples where taken from men and than given to straight men and gay men to sniff. The study showed that gay men found the gay men sweat more attractive/less repulsive than the sweat from straight men. Thats not a choice.

Or what about the FACT that a womans womb sometimes recognizes the male baby as an intruder and tries to kill it with estrogen. Or that birth order is greatly linked to sexuality, and that it would make sense that the more babies sombody has, the greater their skill at killing them with estrogen is. Thats not a choice.

Yep and all forms of sexual immorality.

What does God have to say about those guys who spend all their free time on the "barely legal" web sites?

He thinks there sinful and hates them.

I have to wonder because so many of the people I have run into who make a lot of noise about what God loves and hates tend to frequent strip clubs, girl-girl and barely legal stuff.

Jesus called those people hypocrites.
