Large earthquake hits Christchurch

Hey, I've been a frequent visitor her for awhile now and finally decided to sign up rather than just read. I'm also from Christchurch and we are still being hit with aftershocks it's getting annoying as f**k!! The eastern areas were hit the worst with almost knee deep liqufaction. One thing i did notice this morning though is there were alot of blotchy clouds in the morning about 7.45 - 10 o'clock in hornby whether they have anything to do with this i do not know anyone have harrp readings? Also ole Ken Ring predicted a quake this week although he has failed miserably before a few times. Heres a link to his twitter post .

From up in the north island. gotta feel sorry for you lot down there, not the best xmas present you could hope for. Ya gotta wonder when things are actually gonna settle down for good. Prayers go out to every one out there.

Love and thoughts go back to my family and friends in Chch. Not the most idea xmas present.

Is that not a chemtrail ? It has expanded heaps now and hasn't gone away like usual with normal vapour that planes usually leave behind.

Nope that's a plane going overhead and leaving a vapor trail - different weather conditions lead to different dispersal times... Planes head overhead here en route to Oz all the time (we're rural just west of Chch) and they come in all shapes and sizes..

Can't help but look at sky here - huge expanse. Was outside most of morning and nothing unusual - nice build up of cloud over Alps but that's about it.. been a lovely day, quakes aside.

They are nice photos. Plus, I'm impressed with a new member, who will grab his camera, take, and post photos. That's going the extra mile in my book....

Thanks . Photos always help to explain/share what you can see yourself without the barrier of text. If i ever see anything crazy it will only be posted if i have pictures or video.

I just got up and saw this on the news, my heart goes out to you people there, Christmas can be stressful enough without the earth trying to shake you off as well. I hope things calm down quickly so you can get back to doing normal xmassy things like getting back from the office party and passing out drunk, without having to worry about waking up in a pile of rubble

I did notice alot of trails in the sky this morning. Also the sky very earlly did have that haarp pattern in it out to the east.

Hold strong our Tasman cousins you've faced worse. And take no notice of the tools blaming a scary natural challenge on chemtrails.

Sad to hear this. Christchurch seems to be getting hit very hard lately, hopefully this doesn't get peoples spirits down, I heard there was a lot of great work in New Zealand earlier in the year by Kiwis and the international community to get Christchurch back on track.

Anyone ever find out where the sulphur smell was from? Are you still smelling it? Stay in a safe place, all who live there....I hope you all get out of it with minimum trouble.

Just found all this on the smell of sulphur and volcanic activity in NZ.....Don't know how trustworthy this site is, but it's the first thing I found on it

IceAgeNow posted a letter from concerned reader writting about new hot spring formed in the area of Cass Bay near Christchurch. There were various reports recently about new hot springs boiling in the peninsula. People also reporting the stench of sulphur emanating from the harbour area. Navy and army are apparently combing the area with geological survey tools. Residents are scarred that Ruaumoko volcano is coming to life. 36 million liters of water mysteriously disappeared from a reservoir in Huntsbury New Zealand following the February 22nd 6.3 earthquake in Christchurch. In past 7 days there were 88 earthquakes reported in Christchurch.

Not trying to worry anyone, but just wanted to make everyone aware....I didn't even know there WERE volcanos in that area. Is anyone there still smelling sulphur?

My view is that this might have been caused by HAARP to teach the thousands of ex-Americans and ex-Europeans who emigrated to Australia and New Zealand regions since few years back.
