So I've left it to the last minute... Today is my last chance to get a present for my girlfriend, but i have no idea what to get?? I have wandered the streets aimlessly all week and can't find anything. GUH!

Surely a few of you are in the same boat? I can't be the only one who is lagging.

So can my fellow atsers help me out? All I have is purfume....

Something meaningful, perhaps a piece of jewelry inside a decorated box with a written letter on how much you love her (or whatever) topped off with some flowers and a box of chocolate, depends on how she is when it comes to gifts .

Your girlfriend? Seriously?? A true gift should be based on the person and here you are on an internet forum asking a bunch of strangers for ideas. If you actually know a person and care about them, thinking of something they would like should not be a problem. I think your girlfriend needs a new boyfriend. That's the Christmas gift I would recommend!

Is this in survival because your girlfriend will kill you if you get it wrong? Or is she a survivalist?

"I will do" vouchers, easy to write and often mean alot more than a tacy gift.

Foot rubs, cleaning stuff, maybe sexy stuff you dont normally do

The former. It's a matter of life or death.

OK...here goes.

How long have you been together.

How old is she.

Did you give her present last year. Did you blow it.

What is your realistic budget.

Let's start with a little info. Then we can narrow it down a bit.

The point is the OP doesn't have an imagination. That's why he is on here asking.

Show her this thread...It's the thought that counts, right?

Okay, not helpful.

Tell us a bit about her. What are her interests? Personality etc?

That might help us to help you.

I agree. I honestly hope she does not get on his computer and go through his browser history.... She is going to be so mad if she sees this thread.

Great. We have a basis to work with now. So she has already gotten a bunch of jewelry recently. Unless she only likes to get jewelry, then you can get a bit more creative.

Do you have some good shops near you to shop in.

What is her favorite color.

Does she have a pet, if yes, what.

Does she like really romantic things. If yes, consider calling, or going online and purchasing a weekend get=a=way at a romantic bed and breakfast. You can get the gift certificate before Christmas.

How does she feel about you picking out clothing for her.

Quick like a bunny....we can get this done

When in doubt, something lovely like crystal, windchimes, maybe go to the crystal shop and pick up some artwork with amethysts, or maybe an artwork print if you know what she likes, or tickets to a poetry reading for both of you or a play, or even, a prepaid sessions at a masseuse, something special. If you're broke, like most of the world, something pretty and inexpensive, like a bell, or an elephant or dolphin scultpure or dinner out and a gift certificate to the book store or health food store. Maybe a good mediation CD, and inviting her to join you in some metaphysical workshops.

Well seeing as you asked here
And most here are prepairing for the coming collapse
Something meaningful but something trade able
So precious metals or stones
A gold pendant ? Ring, something ornate?
Then you get to sell the soppy - end of the world, something to trade to keep you safe angle and play a Jedi mind trick on her

I like that idea, assuming she is into the romantic stuff.

Also, just thinking out loud. Does she have a pet? Got room for one? Maybe a puppy? But of course that depends on if she likes dogs or not

I live in rural australia so the shops are less than satisfactory. :S haha

We'll I was trying to steer clear of jewellery as she has plenty. Clothes are best bought online around here and it might be too late for internet purchases. I thinking i might just go buy her a kayak. win win
