Mr Obama has not been in office 10 years.
Our world has been at war since a cave man learned how to throw a rock at his neighbor. Until everyone feels that all their needs are being met by the available resources there will be war. As long as one man has something that another man might want there will be war.
You cannot blame any world leader for war.

We all knew it was going to happen. Syria and the Middle East have been preparing for this for months and they knew it too, so I don't know why anyone would give the O.P. such a hard time about the possibility of "leaking" information. To Syria, this is old news, and Hezbollah came out over two weeks (maybe longer) ago claiming that they were already preparing for war in the region.

Here's more detailed information that was "leaked" out on December 11th:

This is ridiculous! Syria must stop the killings of their people but we should NOT be in there! Ugh....right after the war ended too. Good job OBAMA!

I haven't read the whole thread, but... Wasn't it Benjamin Fulford who said that We would invade Syria next?

And then Iran. (I think He nailed Libya, too, as the list He gave was before We jumped on them.)

Maybe if our corrupt leaders didn't send troops to places that did not need them and have no consequence to our national security these people would not die. You want to blame someone for the deaths blame the politicians for sending them.

The entire region has been called southwest asia since the first gulf war. In 1991 we were awarded south west asia campaign medals. All deployment orders read southwest asia; at least mine did when I went to afghanistan in 2007, and Iraq in 2009.

If anything, things are winding down. Several units have had deployments cancelled.

I would be extremely skeptical of any site that uses the Debka File as a source. When we were still looking for Sadaam, Debka file reported a secret valley with giant scorpians....

Good Luck

When I see statements like this, I am still in amazement that people these days believe there actually is a two party system.

Good Luck to you.

BTW......... Santa isn't real either

You got that right. If he/she is going to implicate the Ayatolla in 9/11 it damn well does matter where this information is coming from. I do not think this has taken place. I watch CNN, MSN, and of course my local news and being in Virginia with over 30 military installations across the state I think if this was being bandied about I would have heard something about it by now.

Well POTUS is a Marxist. You must be very proud of his snuggling up to every leftist Marxist and Socialist radical on the planet. He's really giving the dictatorship of the Proletariat a good kick off eh...

No he is not. He is a pro-business, pro-war, pro-everything-bad-for-America-and-Americans...whatever "party" that is; I tend to call the party "government".

I sure hope the OP is misinformed. I thought we weren't allowed to get involved in other country's internal issues? I say that facetiously of course...If true, I wish them the very best. My son is in Afghanistan, so I am somewhat familiar with how it feels to have a person close to me who is unnecessarily in harm's way. Fortunately, he has a mid-tour leave that starts in a couple of days and we get to spend Christmas together.

And yet another hyjacking attempt. Start your own thread for president bashing. This one is about Syria and the deployment out of FT Hood. Remember?

There's no deployment going out of Ft. Hood to Syria. The only deployment is going to Afghanistan. The 602nd Ordnance Company.

Ft. Hood Official Homepage

FORT HOOD, Texas--Approximately half of the 602nd Ordnance Company will return home from their deployment to Afghanistan in the early morning hours of Monday, 19 December. The unit deployed to Afghanistan in July of 2011 and had a two-fold mission in theater. Half of the company provided gun truck security support to convoys, the other worked in their traditional role providing maintenance support. Because of a change in mission requirements, half of the unit is able to return home early. Media interested in covering the welcome home ceremony should send the name of the agency they work for, their names as it is stated on their drivers licenses and their cell numbers to [email protected] no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday, 17 December. Media travelling to the event with rental cars should have a copy of their rental agreement with proof of insurance with them. The public affairs office will be in touch with interested media representatives on 18 December, Sunday in the mid-morning hours to finalize when and where to meet for the event. V/R Monika Comeaux CPT, LG Chief, Public Affairs 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) [email protected] [email protected] Office: 254-288-7342 Cell: 254-681-8550

It helps to dig for ACTUAL facts people.

The OP made this story up.

You need to get beyond the left/right divisional way of thinking friend.
It doesn't matter if its a Republican, or if Obama gets re-elected. Unless Americans stay on top of the truth, you're gonna find yourselves in Iran regardless.

and to my disappointment, Canada will get dragged right along with 'em.

You know I wish I had the threads bookmarked, but weren't there numerous people claiming that the next stop on the middle east army tour would be Syria?

I don't remember exactly which reason. I think it may have been more "The Ark of the Covenant is there" or something along the lines of it needing to be Syria to fullfill a prophecy or something. But with all the beating of the War Drums at Iran, It would come at a surprise to see them fire off in another direction.
