You have a picture of the wrong drone up. This is what it's supposed to be

Just for the purpose of clarity in the thread I am posting this pic so people don't get the wrong idea from your post.

And many defense types are saying the drone may actually be real with heavy damage to it's underside which is why they aren't showing it.

Honestly it's not a question of whether they have the drone or not, that has been admitted. The real questions are what shape is the drone in? Is the one on display the actual drone captured?

Then you got the US moving flying saucer shaped things around on flatbed trucks with heavy security escort.

I'm quoting myself here but since this has evolved into it's own topic.

I'm fairly sure that it's not public gym. That would be pretty hilarious with everyone lining up to see the drone. I'm guessing a military base gym. Those things usually excist in bases.

Could be a gym on a military base.

Wonder if America would use such a drone on there own soil as a pretext to war.

Blame it on Iran saying they had modified it or copied it as a weapon against the US.

Good point. I had not thought of that...

Yesterday I read everything I could find about that Drone.

I saw a picture on Google Images showing a drone like this in a Taliban truck.

It was probably traded to Iran for a pack of smokes and some bad whiskey.

It was in three pieces. It was then very crudely welded back together.

Since the Iranians couldn't match the paint, they came as close as they could.

That prompted an ex-pentagon official to say this Ex-Pentagon official says drone is a fake

I don't think the President would fly these drones over Iran. This is an act of war.

Here's the article I found claiming the drone probably went down in Afghanistan.

US Drone might of come down in Afghanistan

The Iranians did not land this thing. It was hand delivered.

It is my understanding that the drone was NOT flying over Iran, but just over the border in Afghanistan.

I also just find it pretty incredible, that Iran would have technology or know how to pull off a stunt like this, let alone, the ability to decode the software. They barely have the ability to launch a rocket successfully, yet we are led to believe they pirated this drone?

What I just realized for the first time is that of all the places they could put the captured US drone, like in a military warehouse or hanger, they have it displayed in a GYMNASIUM???????

WTF!

I would think that they would have this thing pretty much locked away, out of sight, yet, they display it in a public place like a Gym?

This leaves the damn thing sitting right out there in plain sight, where ANYONE could systematically figure out its exact location. I mean, how many Gym's exist in Iran, with green markings on the gym floor, and with those particular wall posters in the background???

Something is not right here folks.

I think otherwise. To be honest this is a good thing from my point of view because it will show to the masses (which I consider of having the right to know what happens) to see what U.S.A. is using to spy on them. This might change the thinking of a civilization who thought a country was not that far advanced technologically.

Hiding from the masses is the greatest mistake ever made in history in relationship of the masses and TPTB.

Maybe your avatar/picture simply states why you have such reasoning ?

More than happy to answer your question regarding my Avatar, if I truly understood exactly what about it you are referencing? The fact that I am a Master Mason? Sorry, I just need a hint here...

Probably all the gyms? Looks like any basketball / multi-purpose court I've ever seen. and those posters are merely posters, and were probably put up specifically for the photo-op.

But why would you be surprised? Iran is, and should be, proud they caught this thing, and for them, it's a PR victory to display it to anyone willing to see it, to show that the masterful US military isn't perfect.

My question was referencing the lack of secrecy on their part. Knowing that the USA is going to want this thing back (though the fact that the USA is not, that we know of, actively looking to get it back) you would think that they would be a little more protective over their "catch."

It is just unusual to display such a thing in a potentially discoverable location.

You haven't seen military equipment close up then, like most things in the world once you see it properly it looks pretty crap.

I have worked around much military equipment, and things such as aircraft and drones are typically well maintained, at least in the Air Force. Besides occasionally being dirty they are typically in excellent condition and well made.

I have to agree with you on that. I have been to many military shows and the equipment is always freshly painted and pristine.

It was a mere assumption of you being related with templars seeing the cross of their rank in your avatar, BUT it does not mean you are necessarily one of them. That was what I was talking about.

Non nobis domine was used by them around the time of the crusades which means in english "not us O Lord".

Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici which means "Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon" from your avatar. Some people link templars with freemasonry but I did not made any deep research on this.

I just found this with a bit of look at your avatar and a bit of digging.

You would Think that the Dumb Pucks at the Pentagon would have equipped that Spy Drone With a Self Destruct Mechanism in case it was Captured by an Enemy ...................Just sayin.........

They don't need them, once they are uh done with them be it a crash or whatever they are pretty much junk. A captured drone is to be expected and precautions for that are taken. Other than showing it off its not much use to anybody.

It's in a gym so that when the U.S. blows it up a bunch of kids get killed. That would look real good for the Iranians and real bad for the U.S.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Freemasons can be Templars, but Templars are not necessarily Freemasons. Just to be clear....

It dosent look like that thing will even fly, it looks too much like a model than an actual drone.

Check out this LINK Man , The Iranians Claim they " Overroad" the Commands to the U.S. Spy Drone and made it Land INTACT !

www.csmonitor.com...

Iran guided the CIA's "lost" stealth drone to an intact landing inside hostile territory by exploiting a navigational weakness long-known to the US military, according to an Iranian engineer now working on the captured drone's systems inside Iran...............

Iranian electronic warfare specialists were able to cut off communications links of the American bat-wing RQ-170 Sentinel, says the engineer, who works for one of many Iranian military and civilian teams currently trying to unravel the drone’s stealth and intelligence secrets, and who could not be named for his safety.

Using knowledge gleaned from previous downed American drones and a technique proudly claimed by Iranian commanders in September, the Iranian specialists then reconfigured the drone's GPS coordinates to make it land in Iran at what the drone thought was its actual home base in Afghanistan

The one you showed originally is a British UAV -- link

For discussions sake, I reckon that is a real UAV but the reason the lower half isn't shown is that it was badly damaged on landing/impact and probably the reason that the wings also appear to have visible joins.

Why not use a gymnasium to display the drone? They were probably expecting a US attempt to retrieve/destroy the drone.

It's being displayed in a gym because it was little Billy's 1st place winning high school science project. They just removed the blue ribbon before the pic.

That drone looks like it was made by a 12 year old in tech class....

For some reason I am not getting the feeling it is a multi million dollar Lockheed Martin drone.

It looks like it is made out of construction paper.

Just look at the intake vent, there is ZERO symmetry on the grill. It looks like it was put together with toothpicks.

I bet this paper airplane I am about to make can fly farther than that paperweight.
