A good theory none the less, however, a magnetic pole shift would happen gradually over a loooong period of time.

I have a compass that has sat in the same spot for a few years now just for this type of observation... It hasn't changed since I put it there.

Maybe the bird compass has evolved to be more sensitive ?
The birds cant literaly sense any disturbations on Earth magnetic field
that will affect they flight path
Their GPS has been scrambled
Maybe you're grasping at straws, looking for an elaborate explanation to something that has already been explained adequately by the authorities?
Maybe the bird compass has evolved to be more sensitive ?

I think that is a very real possibility. As the magnetic poles move more and more, animal incidents and extreme weather and other signs will increase. You are right, the government experts do give us stupid explanations that are downright insulting to our intelligence. There is a big part of me that wonders if the fema camps, underground bunkers and prep for martial law isn't more about the fact that tptb know that some type of huge disaster is getting ready to occur. If you add all the signs up, its hard to ignore.

Birds are far more intelligent than you give them credit for, it was once thought that homing pigeons found their way home using some internal compass.........but it has actually been discovered that the birds were actually using landmarks to find their way home.
