TRY to follow along ... this has NOTHING to do with God. NOTHING to do with Jesus. NOTHING to do with Catholics. Nothing to do with being 'sinless' or forgiving or whatever other guilt-ladden christian rhetoric you want to toss in. It has to do with the regime of Iran with a jackboot pressed against the necks of it's people, and one of their dis-info agents coming on here professing America is horrid and Iran is wonderful. It has to do with Iran using Islam as an excuse for their crimes against humanity. It has to do with the OP presenting Iran as some innocent country - not spying on others, not engaging in proxy wars around the world, not sponsoring terrorism, not mistreating it's citizens, etc.

Ignoring the truth of what is going on in Iran and with the OP isn't being a 'good christian'.

(Just for the record though, Iran wont be attacked for a while yet, because the US is completely incapable of going to war against a developed nation without a minimum 10 years of imposed sanctions first. Added to which, all surplus missiles were used imposing an illegal regime change in Libya, gotta wait a few more years till its time to cycle out the old munitions first )

The USA has nuclear weapons and has only used them in self defense against Japan in WWII. That fact that we have them 'kept the peace' during the cold war. Iran has said that they would wipe out TeleViv if they had a nuclear weapon. Iran has many proxy wars going on in which they would use them. Iran sponsors terrorism and has called for the destruction of America. The USA (and ISrael for that matter) are nuclear nations that have shown restraint while holding them. Iran would not. The history and the instability of the leadership proves this.

The US has more proxy wars going on, and has propped up more power mad dictators than any nation on earth.
Iran, up until very recently was ruled by a US puppet dictator. Therefore the country is less than 40 years old, you can't really expect it to be fully mature as of yet.
And I fail to see how Iran is any less of a viable risk than Israel, India or Pakistan, all of whom have been on the brink of using their nukes since the day they got them.

Nuclear weapons are 1950's technology,you cannot expect people not to develop them, its an absurd proposition to believe otherwise.

(Just as an aside though, how is the Qu'ran any less from god than the Torah, or the Bahagvagita, or Upanishads or bible? All paths lead to Shiva.)

Anyhow. The religion of Islam, can be construed as a race,since it is both the racial language and culture of an entire racial group. In the same way that Judaism is.Can you really not see that?
(Or was Hitlers persecution of the Jews not racially based? Because they didn't have to much of a problemwith Palestinians... and both are of the "Semitic race")
