Are you saying that the people of the UK who are tolerant now will be the ones creating the "ruckus", or are you saying that the muslims that live there will be the instigators? Because you worded it as if you will be attacking the muslims first.

I hate to disagree with you, but this is a war with terrorists, who in this case just happen to be radical Muslim extremists. If the Red Army Faction had brought down the twin towers, we would be fighting against radical Italian terrorists.

Unfortunately, the religious beliefs of Islamic whackos cause them to be unstable as viewed by the rest of the civilized world. They commit atrocities, and there is no choice but to go after them. Eradication is the only choice, as they have been brainwashed from early childhood to hate anything that is non-Muslim.

Um.... Wernt the terrorist who flew planes in 9-11 living in America? Sounds like some of them have taken up arms to me. And as for rhe "peacefull muslim community", if they dont protest what the extreimest are doing doesnt that make them almost as bad? I was born a christian, however, as my life progressed, I realised that some of the teachings were entirely to savage to do anybody any good! yea, lets go stone a gay!(SARCASIM!!). Needles to say, I began my own spiritual search when I learned of these suppressed teachings. People are monsters ONLY if they want to be. These people want all westerners dead, but half of them "sin right allong with the sinners"!! I.E. adopting the western culture as thier own.

Hey pal, don't put words in my mouth! I did not say all people who practice islam are at war with the United States.

I said the war currently raging is between the West and Islam, and stand by it. It is a war of arms, but also a war of ideas. As all Christians and Jews are not actively taking up arms against muslims, so all muslims are not actively taking up arms agains christians and jews. The 3 million muslims in America condone the terorists simply by their inaction in protest, and support the war of islamoterror against the west in so doing, along with the $$$ they provide through the established channels of donations in their religion. There will come a day where the anger and backlash against muslims/arabs in western countries will be severe.

I agree with you Smokenmirrors. through the channelling of money through certain Islamic charities, they continually show support for the extriemest. Also, This is a war agianst Muslim terrorist. If the RIA decides to get in on this, then things might change as far as profiling terrorist in this war.

I know a few muslims that live peacefully in mostly white neighborhoods.

Young muslims are impressionable, if you look at the age over there the majority of muslims are 21 and under.
It's this age group we have to look out for, older muslims over here are nothing to worry about.

Back home there was two guys that went to my friends high school and they were arrested because they were donating money to extreme websites, one went over for training, not sure about the other one, but do you see how easily these kids are to brainwash.. It doesn't take much.

Kids who don't have much to live for at that age will die for a cause, just like the army here... To protect what they know, however the terrorists camps breed hatred, ours doesn't, hate the west, fight, the west, and die a maryter because allah says if you don't adhere to muslim rule you are an infidel and must be killed..

I think the reason that people have a particularly hard time seperating muslim terrorists from Muslims, is because so much of the extremists philosophy comes from the same sources as mainstream Islamic teachngs and scripture.
With groups like Bader Meinhoff etc. you can see that the group philosophy is not that of the population at large, and so the Germans in this case are not seen as threat.
Because most critics do not understand Islam, they assume that the tripe spouted by the terrorists is believed and practiced by all Muslims, this is of course not the case.
There are however difficult areas for mainstream clerics to deal with, in distancing themselves from the extermists. These clerics work hard to put a modern face to the teachings and translations for their congregation living in areas of the world they find at odds with their beliefs.
Fear breeds anger and eventually violence, don't be afraid of Islam, learn about it and interact with ordinary Muslims, they will in turn feel less fearful of you, and realise that your not trying to extinguish their religion and lets face it you would be forgiven for thinking that if you lived in some of the inner cities these people inhabit near me.

But Islam can, we just need to learn more about the religion and forget about the confussion and fear of the west.
