Surely you realize the issue isn't about a snake eating a cat.
Nobody is saying it's 'wrong' for a snake to eat a cat/kitten. First of all, snakes have no morality.
Secondly, obviously a snake is going to eat any mammal it can fit in its mouth.

THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE.
The issue is that someone would TORTURE a helpless kitten, laughing and finding joy through torture. And furthermore, video tape it, upload it to the internet/youtube as though it's a trophy- he's PROUD of it.

IT'S DISGUSTING AND IMMORAL BEHAVIOR ON BEHALF OF THE HUMAN.

Domestication or taming is the process whereby a population of animals or plants, through a process of selection, becomes accustomed to human provision and control.

Notice how the cat was calmly being carried into the room for feeding time, well a wild cat would have been scratching and biting the person carrying it.

Thats how you can tell a difference.

Hm, I am not really sure what you are going on about, Amanda5. At least where I live, (East Coast, U.S.) you do not need a license to own a snake. I, in fact, own a snake and know people who do. You can walk right down to the pet store and buy one, or, you can catch on of the various snakes that live in the grass around here. There is no law that states you need special licensing to own a snake.

Yeah I am lost there. She called me ignorant and never posted the law. I know for a fact you do not need a license in NY to own a snake so I am quite curious on this one.

I still know cruelty and atypical behavior when I see it and I assume since you are smart enough to see an argument that can be reasonably made you also see those things. Let's be real about this particular incident though.
