You honestly think the Republican contenders are evil?

Of course, they all support endless war, torture and the evil corporate/banker/wall street/military/surveillance society that want to take away all our rights, all our freedoms, all our money, and destroy the entire planet for power and money. What the hell can you call that if not evil?

Keeping in mind that the Republican party has been usurped by neocons, who claim the party as their own. They are anything but conservative or even concerned with the people's wishes. The historic Republican party values are more aligned with the Reagan era, even though it wasn't perfect then, either. This is what sparked the Tea Party movement. There is a desire to get back to core Republican values that were not being served by the current neocons and the Bush administration. So don't be lumping all Republicans in one group, because they are not all in agreement.

They all do not support endless wars! One man is whole heartedly against all the wars we are engaged in. I'll give you one guess who that is. You got it, Ron Paul. Open your eyes man. Stop voting repub or democrat and start voting for the united states!

The masses will complain and he will run as a third party, thus ensuring President Obama has another term.

What, you mean it's not all scripted out already...?

I will preface this by saying that I am a Ron Paul supporter. Although I am not as fervent as many of the people that are on here. I can guarantee though that if he doesn't get the nomination you can expect at least one thread claiming that RP actually won and that the results were fake.

I'll be writing in Ron Paul if he doesn't get the nomination. I know Gingrich or Romney can't beat Obama, so I reckon if we are going to have 4 more years of Obama regardless at least make the statement that we won't support these neo-conservative loons the media is tossing at us.

Most republicans agree with what I posted, namely letting business destroy every plant and animal on this planet under the guise of "growth" and letting the military bomb all the other people on the planet.

Valid point. Divide and conquer. It's happening on both sides of both parties. Who knows the outcome?

Is it decided this far in advance? Are we doing what they want already?

Who's THEY? I just don't want to blow up countries for "democracy" and not be a country, and I don't want to be considered American shmucks around the worlds while we try and "teach" everyone our vision. And kill .

Who's vision? Americans? Or World Government? At least Paul says let's regroup. Pull back our cash and think about it.

All other candidates say the same bullcrap. Obama,Bush, and Clinton with the same agenda.

Ultimate global control through New World Order. It's best for the planet. Yeah for WHO'S planet? Americans?
NATO? OH World Health Oganization? I forgot.. Unicef...oops.. I meant that group called the United Nations the U.S. PAYS to support whatever we say or we cut off funds.
No wondor we're hated. There's about another 5 BILLION people that may disagree with U.S. opinion. OK Add China.. OK 3.5 BILLION getting pissed at the U.S.

Thank GOD Hillary is making it all right while she snubs her nose at the President. She's WAY more powerful. . Or is she setting up power for her daughter to carry on the plan?

WHO represents us? US the U.S. WE THE PEOPLE Queen of England? Or the charming new newlyweds from Dorchester?

Thanks for the rant.

If Ron Paul fails to win the nomination I will hope he chooses to run under a third party. If he does, he will still have my vote. If he does not, I will look at all the Candidates and if I am unable to find one to support I will probably not vote at all.

I refuse to vote for a person I do not believe in. It is that simple. If I can not find a Candidate that I feel represents me, I will not vote at all.

Unlike so many others who claim that if you do not vote you have no right to complain, I disagree. I think if you do vote, it is YOU who has no right to complain. Why? Well because you voted for it!!!

I know my opinion on this topic is not a popular one, but for those with an open mind and a willingness to see another point of view, I encourage you to check out this article.

You can't complain if you *did* vote

While I usually opt for reading over YouTube, I think in this case the video is the better way to go.

While I have been a HUGE fan of George Carlin over the course of many years, the link I posted has nothing to do with his stand up and really does make for a good read. You should check it out.

Still, you get a star from me just for having good taste

When you say 'dismantle our country' what do you mean? If by dismantle, you mean we need to limit the size of government, I can see where you're going. But if you mean, he will destroy this country, I'm going to ask you how?

If Ron doesn't become the nominee I won't vote for anybody else. I am only voting for Paul. He ran this year because his supporters wanted him to and he made the decision, if the supporters want him to run independent if a gop nomination doesn't happen, I'm sure he'll consider it and not just straight out reject us.

Ron has a chance at the gop nomination, there will be voting fraud, and sabotage, be ready folks. I'd suggest people count votes at your local polling stations.

Paul wants to get rid of most of the government. The government is one of the biggest employers in the country, so cutting all those gov't jobs will destroy the economy. The government props up entire industries with gov't contracts, so when you gut government you kill businesses. The government keeps old and poor people from starving/rioting/being out on the street, so when you cut government spending you mess up society.
The government does countless things that support stability of business and society, like maintaining roads and managing trade with other countries. Things that are necessary for our society to function and business can't or won't take over and pick up the slack.

Er...Both of the parties are working for the same interest and it's most definitely NOT the American people...
I believe Ron Paul was banded from a Fox News or CNN debate because he was AGAINST the Iran war....

Was going to say the same thing.

I'd urge RP to run as an independent if they stitch him up with the nomination.

Probably get more votes on his own anyway, considering many Americans are waking up to the sham of the two political parties and the fact that you can't fit a cigarette paper between them these days.

(same in the UK too)

We will endure many more years of inept and dishonest "leadership" in the white house. We'll pay more than we ever imagined in unconstitutional taxes to "fund" history's most ruthless and absurd police state, when in reality all govt bills are paid through inflationary spending not tax revenue. What little wealth we have left will be stripped from us to be consentrated in the hands of the wealthy elite while they simultaneously trample our freedom, opportunities, and hope for the future. Ultimately, we will be forced to seal the fate of all future generations to come making them uneducated slave labor for super rich until the Earth is ravaged for profit to such a extent that it cannot sustain them anymore.

I, for one, as an outsider/foreigner/alien (or whatever terms Americans use to describe the outside world) will personally lose all hope that America can redeem itself if Ron Paul loses the nomination and/or is not voted President.

It is a common view held by many of us outside America, I know I am not alone in saying this.

Because Obama isn't a republican, of course. Obama isn't that great, but he still isn't nearly as evil or destructive as a republican.

Of course RP isn't evil, but he wants to dismantle our country and doesn't even realize it would destroy our economy.

What's the difference between Obama and any of the mainstream Republicans? Aside from trivial issues like abortion I can't see a difference.

And how would RP destroy the economy? You sound yourself like a pro-establishment Republican
